In this role, you’ll connect with local organisations and services to make sure adults who struggle with reading — as well as potential volunteers — know about the life-changing support we offer.</p><p>This is a role for someone who loves reaching out, building trust, and ensuring no one is left behind because of reading challenges.</p><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Build strong relationships with local partners such as libraries, job centres, housing associations, GP surgeries, and adult education providers.</li><li>Raise awareness of Read Easy’s free one-to-one reading coaching and encourage referrals of both readers and volunteers.</li><li>Represent Read Easy at local events, community meetings, and networking opportunities.</li><li>Identify new referral routes and creative ways to reach adults who need support.</li><li>Maintain an up-to-date contact list and track referral outcomes.</li><li>Gather feedback to help the team strengthen community connections.</li></ul><h3><strong>Time commitment</strong></h3><p>This position is flexible and can mainly be done at times that suit you.   <p>Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) support children, young people and their families that have links to identified school settings. Each designated MHST will work in collaboration with schools and other agencies who cover a population of up to 7,000 children and young people.Trailblazer sites were established in Kent in 2019, with the service aim to cover 50% of the schools across Kent and Medway by 2026.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a post-graduate qualified psychological practitioner (e.g. clinical psychologist, family therapist, child and adolescent psychotherapist, CBT practitioner) in the Ashford CYPMHS Team. To apply for this post you must be fully registered with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (e.g. HCPC, AFT, ACP, BABCP).</p>  <p>The post-holder will provide clinical interventions and assessment within their professional sphere of expertise in CYPMHS.   <p>We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced occupational therapist with proven clinical skills and an interest in clinical/operational/strategic development to join our team based in Canterbury.</p> <p>The East Kent Rehabilitation Service has a 12 month secondment opportunity for a Band 7 Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist.   <p>The Early Intervention in Psychosis Services (EIP) and now including the A Risk Mental State (ARMS) pathway are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join the service. Intent on providing evidence-based interventions, this service is committed to providing good quality psychological therapies for people with psychosis and their families.</p> <p>Experience in Mental health (especially psychosis) and additional Specialist Postgraduate Qualification to Masters level or equivalent in relevant Family and/ or Systemic Psychotherapy is necessary for the role.</p> <p>The Early Intervention for Psychosis Service is a well-respected and well-established multi-disciplinary service with a reputation for excellence. The EIP psychological therapies service is integrated within the EIP service and committed to providing support, excellent supervision and todeveloping its staff.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Family work is an integral part of EIP care offered to service users and their carers/family members. You would be responsible for offering high quality family interventions and lead on carer interventions/education programs across the East Kent EIP teams. Case consultation, supervision and joint working with staff in the multidisciplinary teams will also be an expectation.</p> <p>You will have plenty of scope and support to develop your own practice, whilst providing a highly professional service to people with psychosis and to their families.</p>
