This permanent Consultant Psychiatrist position (37.5 hours per week) will see you join the established multidisciplinary team at Spring Wood Lodge. The service has 21 beds across two wards in a locked rehabilitation setting providing treatment for women with mental disorders including personality disorders. The wards are well supported by a full complement of multidisciplinary team.&nbsp;
You will act as a Consultant / Responsible Clinician for patients in this setting. You will have CCT in General Adult or Forensic psychiatry and experience of working with and leading multidisciplinary teams.&nbsp; You will be part of an environment that specialises in providing rehabilitation utilising positive behavioural support principles and empowering service users in their recovery.&nbsp;

Your responsibilities will include:

 <li>Maintaining CPD and re-validation requirements, as determined by the Royal College of Psychiatrists or other relevant statutory bodies.</li>

Our Community First Responder (CFR) scheme is a life-saving partnership with local communities. As authorised volunteers CFRs form teams across Yorkshire to help reduce the number of pre-hospital deaths.Our CFRs are trained to provide life-saving treatment to patients in the vital first few minutes of an emergency until our ambulance crew arrives. If effective treatment is provided quickly, lives can be saved and disability reduced. This is especially true for heart attacks and medical conditions which have caused someone to lose consciousness.When a 999 call is received in our Emergency Operations Centre (EOC), an ambulance response is dispatched. At the same time, a CFR on-call in the area can be alerted and asked to attend the incident to ensure that help reaches the patient as quickly as possible.As our volunteers are based within the community, they may only be a minute or two away from a medical emergency and very often their role is to simply provide vital reassurance to patients and their families until the ambulance crew arrives. However, in extreme cases, such as a cardiac arrest, they can perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) to try and restart someone’s heart, which can potentially save their life.Anyone who wants to help their community can become a CFR.No previous medical experience or training is necessary, but you will need a caring attitude and be able to cope with potentially distressing situations.You need to:<ul><li>be aged 18 or over</li><li>hold a valid, full UK driving licence, with no more than three penalty points</li><li>have access to a vehicle</li><li>be prepared to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service Check</li><li>be prepared to undertake occupational health screening</li><li>be prepared to undertake our 4 day CFR course.  An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated band 6 practitioner to join the Leeds Childrens and Young Persons Community Eating Disorder Service. The post holder will work as part of a dynamic and busy service as part of a full multidisciplinary team.We are a citywide multidisciplinary team from a range of backgrounds, including psychiatry, nursing, psychology, paediatrics, social work and dietetics. We provide specialist assessment and intervention for young people up to the age of 18 and their families. We are exploring innovative ways of working through the development of new treatment pathways and are committed to going beyond expectations in engaging and supporting our families and young people.If you have previous experience of working with individuals with an eating disorder or are highly motivate with a passion to learn new skills and work with young people with an eating-disorders and their families then please get in contact with us.  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
 The successful candidate will work independently and with the wider staff team along with young people and their families. The role will provide general and advanced support and interventions in order to enhance the patient journey by improving the provision of nutrition and care in addition to facilitating service efficiency and positive outcomes.You will join a multi-disciplinary team which provides professional support and offers collaborative working. You will be welcomed into a service which prioritises reflective practice, clinical supervision and continuing professional development.Main duties will include<ul><li>Delivery of treatment pathways including FT-AN as a core treatment as well as CBT - E and individualised therapies to point of discharge. Training will be provided.</li><li>Work closely with colleagues in CAMHS, schools and local medical services.</li><li>Ensuring a close working relationship and effective communication with partner services delivering inpatient services</li><li>Support junior staff, provide regular supervision and training as appropriate.</li><li>Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continued development of the service.
