Wellbeing &amp; Emotional Support Teams (WEST), Herefordshire team we are now
seeking a qualified EMHP to join our fantastic team. </p><p></p><p>The WEST team are a forward thinking,
supportive &amp; hardworking team that is continuously developing as
individuals and a service. We provide high quality, evidence-based CBT interventions
to Children &amp; Young People in Schools and focus on a Whole School Approach
to make the schools we work with a mentally healthy environment for CYP.</p><p>We will provide you with
resources to develop &amp; progress should this be something you wish to do, as
well as flexibility and a wealth of support, making the WEST environment a great

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are a busy team,
covering 49 schools and colleges in Herefordshire.
You will be delivering low intensity CBT interventions (1:1 or group) in your
aligned schools as well as delivering Whole School Approach activities, keeping
the CYP at the heart of everything you do.</p><p>Under the support of
operational lead, clinical lead &amp; senior practitioners you will manage a
caseload of patients and complete assessments, care plans &amp; other relevant
documentation whilst maintaining the fidelity of the low intensity CBT model.</p><p>An understanding of
risk management &amp; safeguarding is imperative for this role, and you will be
supported with managing this within the team. </p><p>You will also receive
regular case management &amp; clinical skills supervision to support you
clinically as well as participate in MDT/screening meetings.</p><p>You will work closely
with families, school staff &amp; other professions and at times deliver
consultations &amp; signposting advice to other agencies. Thus, strong
interpersonal skills are key.</p>

  <p>This is a part time post working 22.5 hours per week for a fixed term of 12 months based at the Stonebow Unit, Hereford. We would consider less hours for the successful candidate but would have to be a
minimum of 15 hours. The salary quoted is pro rata for part time hours.</p><p>We are looking for a motivated individual with lived experience to support our current quality improvement programme on our older adult mental health inpatient wards. The post will be funded via the Royal College of Psychiatry`s Culture of Care Programme.</p><p>This programme aims to improve the culture of inpatient mental health, learning disability and autism for patients and staff so that they are safe, therapeutic and equitable places to be cared for, and fulfilling places to work.</p><p>Integrated Lived Experience takes the form of true co-production, the role focusses on creating a supportive and compassionate atmosphere for both staff and patients.
