We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Associate Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Leicestershire Adult Eating Disorder Service.</p><p>The team is well established and have been providing high quality care for the residents of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland for over 30 years.</p><p>The team assess and provide individual care plans for recovery through evidence-based interventions and strong therapeutic relationships to patients with a variety of eating disorders, on one to one basis and in group settings.</p><p>Clinical associate psychologists are a key part of our team and the successful candidate will join our current psychology team Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Associate Psychologist and Psychology Assistants.</p><p>The service team also consists of nurses, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, administrators, dietitians, research and evaluation associates. Teamwork and collaboration is highly valued in the service and encouraged from all.</p><p>Experience of working with people with an eating disorder will be a particular strength for the right candidate. However, we are able to offer opportunities for with those with limited experience in limited experience in a developmental role.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will work with people who use our services to develop a shared understanding of their eating disorder, how they cope and the impact this has on their mental, physical health and well-being and those around them (psychological assessment and formulation).</p><p>Under supervision of qualified clinical psychologists they will deliver psychological interventions such as CBT guided self-help, CBT and other appropriate therapy models. The post holder will manage their own caseload.</p><p>A good understanding of some of the physical and psychological risks experienced by our patients will be helpful and you will be supported with this alongside training and development opportunities relevant to your role and equipping you with specialist skills.</p><p>You will also be able to take part in our weekly CPD programme, where we have an extensive range of internal and external speakers.

We have a strong culture of research and a continuous drive for improving quality, and there is plentiful opportunity to contribute to our ongoing programme.</p><p><strong>Please note that a full UK Driving Licence and access to a car during working hours is required for this role.

  <p><em><strong>Please note, if a high volume of applications is received, this advert may close early so please ensure you submit your application without delay.</strong></em> </p><p>The East Midlands Gambling Harms Service welcomes applications for a Band 5 Assistant Psychologist.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a new psychologically informed service for people experiencing gambling harms who may also present with additional mental health needs or other co-morbidities.</p> <p>The role will support and enhance the professional care of service users receiving support from the multidisciplinary team working within the East Midlands Gambling Harms service, a service provided by Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust.</p> <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate individual who can show initiative and is confident working both independently and within a team.</p> <p>The successful candidate must have already obtained a UK university honours degree in psychology graded at 2:1/1 or an equivalent qualification, conferring the BPS approved graduate basis for registration.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful applicant will join a team of passionate and experienced Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Mental Health Practitioners and Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapists; assisting treatment protocols for the service.</p> <p>The post holder will support the team in providing a trauma informed service, which includes:</p> <ul>  <li>The running of groups (preparation sessions).</li>  <li>Co-facilitating other treatment groups where required</li>  <li>Individual stabilization work where required.</li>  <li>Supporting the team with initial assessments where required.</li>  <li>Undertaking projects relating to service development and evaluation focussing on the outcomes of the team's clinical work.</li>  <li>Supporting literature reviews and evidence based practice where required.</li>  <li>Designing and managing databases, spreadsheets and using advanced IT skills in evaluations and audits.</li>  <li>Liaising with 3rd sector organisations to assist the service in its co-production, including running focus group with service users.</li>  <li>Assisting service promotion where required.</li> </ul>   <h3>About us</h3>
  <p>The East Midlands Gambling Harms Service is a well supported multidisciplinary team that sits within DHCFT specialist services. The post holder will also be part of the Psychological Therapies Division which facilitates regular specialized supervision and training, leads on the development of trauma informed practice, encourages personal and professional development, and has good links with the regional training courses.</p> <p>The Trust is incredibly supportive of their work force and go above and beyond to ensure staff are being looked after and feel supported.</p> <p><strong><em>It is Trust policy that for posts that are for a time limited period, applicants who are currently employed by an NHS organisation will only be appointed on a secondment basis and should have approval from their line manager this is possible before applying.
