  <p><strong>Would you like to work in a new virtual and award-winning adult eating disorder service?</strong></p>
<p>An opportunity has arisen for a Dietetic Assistant in a new and dynamic team in an innovative, virtual service for adults with eating disorders, within the HOPE (Healthy Outcomes for People with Eating Disorders) Provider Collaborative led by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.</p>
<p>The Adult Eating Disorder Step Care team offers an alternative to inpatient hospital care by providing community and inpatient-based elements combined, as required. It includes Psychology, Psychiatry, Dietitians, Nursing, Art Therapy and an administration team and operates across parts of South East and South West England. Training will be provided in person at our Oxford base. </p>
<p>The model is underpinned by Enhanced Cognitive Therapy (CBT-e) and is integrated with community teams and inpatient services to offer a seamless service.</p>
<p>You will also be part of the wider growing and dynamic mental health dietetic team across Oxford Health. This includes Dietitians, Dietetic Assistants and Dietetic Apprentices specialising in mental health, based across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and BSW (Bath &amp; NE Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire). The dietetic team covers a wide range of clinical specialities including adult eating disorders, adult mental health, children and young people, secure in-patient services, and mental health services for older people.</p>

  <p>This post will allow you the opportunity to develop your skills working with adults with an eating disorder and you will be involved in individual work, groupwork, quality improvement projects, as well as supporting patients to eat eg at lunchtime, snacks and be weighed in collaboration virtually.</p>

  <p><strong>Band 8a or Band 7-8a Preceptorship Clinical/Counselling Psychologist</strong></p> <p>Are you a clinician passionate about working with service users with psychosis?</p> <p>Do you enjoy working with carers and families?</p> <p>Are you an independent practitioner who can promote psychology in a small team?</p> <p>We are looking for applications from highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologists who are committed to delivering patient-focused care and treatment.</p> <p>We are keen to invest in the development of new practitioners joining our service to enhance their knowledge, skills, clinical practice, leadership and confidence in working in this area. We are therefore looking for applicants who either have experience in Early Intervention Psychosis (EIP) or have a good foundation of transferable skills and an interest to develop in this area.</p> <p>There is a strong sense of camaraderie within the Milton Keynes EIP team, and a strong partnership between operational and clinical staff. There are opportunities to access funded specialist training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for psychosis and family interventions. There may also be an opportunity to spend one clinic session per week in another team/speciality to maintain additional skills.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Milton Keynes Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Service is a multi-disciplinary team providing treatment and support for people who are experiencing symptoms of psychosis for the first time, and during the first three years following a first episode of psychosis. The service has a strong focus on providing psychological inventions alongside care-coordination, help, advice and support. The team helps service users make sense of their experiences, provides treatment and interventions to enable them to get back to, or continue to, work or study, whilst liaising with other services and agencies to sort out benefits and finances, and help solve any housing problems.</p> <p>A key part of the role will be acting as liaison and Principal Investigator for research trials (e.g. virtual reality CBT) from different universities.</p> <p>Our staff demonstrate an interest in providing a high level of service for service users and carers as well as an interest in service development. We are looking for motivated and committed clinical or counselling psychologists who are passionate to lead the development of psychological therapies and the therapy pathways within our service.</p> <p>Where the applicant will be newly qualified on appointment they will join a number of other recent recruits in Milton Keynes and undergo a well- established, thorough preceptorship programme ensuring they are equipped with the competencies required of an 8a post holder before they progress.</p>

  <p>Our Early Intervention Service provides a three year service which offers assessment, treatment and support to people (and their families) who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis. We also provide a year long service for people who are at high risk of developing a first episode of psychosis. We are seeking one full-time Assistant Psychologist to support the work of our Psychologists, psychological therapists, other Assistant Psychologists and our multidisciplinary team in the service they provide. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will work closely with the Psychologists in the team to provide structured assessments, file reviews and manualised treatments under supervision to individuals and carers who use our service. They will also support the Psychologists to manage the psychology pathway within the service with the collation and analysis and presentation of data.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will ideally have experience of supporting and facilitating CBT-informed brief interventions under supervision. They will also have a strong academic record with excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent IT literacy skills and excellent skills in data collection and evaluation. They will also be able to engage positively and sensitively with people with mental health difficulties, their carers and their support networks, and be able to demonstrate an awareness of experiences and challenges that may face someone living with psychosis. The ability to work collaboratively with other professions is a central part of the post in order to provide holistic care within a biopsychosocial model.</p>
<p>The position requires the post holder to hold a driving licence and have use of a car due to need to be able travel across sites throughout Bedfordshire and Luton.</p>
