  <p>We are looking for a Wing Pharmacy Technician to join our wonderful team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians at HMP Norwich, who is currently registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.   <p>Once trained and confident, you will be expected to work autonomously within our standard operating procedures and:</p><ul> <li>Undertake provision of a medicines administration service to the patients from secure medication hatches</li> <li>Provide, in conjunction with the appropriate Clinical practitioners, a wing technician medicine management service on allocated wings i.e. medication reconciliation</li> <li>Assist in the delivery of cost-effective prescribing, the medicines optimisation strategy and management of medication budgets</li> <li>Promote safe pharmacy practice within the prison including providing advice and training to patients and staff</li></ul>

  <p>Are you an experienced and motivated Band 5 or Band 6 Occupational Therapist who wants to develop their skills and experience within a unique Therapy service working with the Community Mental Health Team? We'd love for you to join us in our Community Therapy Service in Great Yarmouth.</p> <p>The wider Community Therapy Service covers Great Yarmouth and Waveney, and although the base for this position would be Northgate Hospital in Great Yarmouth, there is an expectation that the postholder would offer clinical and leadership support to the Waveney side of the team, based at Victoria House in Lowestoft, if required. Both the Great Yarmouth and Waveney CTS is overseen by an Occupational Therapy Lead, and is made up of Registered Occupational Therapists, Peer Support workers, Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioners and an Art Psychotherapist. We work closely with our Nursing, MHP and Psychology colleagues in the wider CMHT to provide a holistic assessment and treatment service for Service Users in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area.</p>

  <p>The team is committed to delivering a range of recovery-focussed Occupational Therapy interventions. This is a protected Occupational Therapy role and the successful post holder will not work as a generic MHP care coordinator/lead care professional.</p> <p>The post-holder will;</p> <ul>  <li>Work with the Community Therapy Service and wider CMHT team to deliver Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions (1:1 and group), prioritising clinical needs and evaluating treatment to measure progress and ensure clinical effectiveness. </li>  <li>Ensure that clinical practice is person-centred, promoting the direct involvement of Service Users and carers in the development of treatment planning. </li>  <li>Monitor and maintain standards of Confidentiality, Health and Safety and Governance in accordance with local and Trust-wide Policies and procedures</li>  <li>Provide support and guidance, line management supervision and clinical supervision to less senior members of staff</li> </ul> <p>You will participate in monthly team business and Governance meetings, deputising for the OT Lead where required. This will be a mixture of day and night shifts</p> <p>Our emergency call handlers are committed, enthusiastic individuals who care about people. They must have the ability to listen and respond, processing information quickly and accurately into the Computer Aided Dispatch system. Customer service skills are important and the ability to remain calm and supportive as some callers will be experiencing significant distress and trauma, including the loss of a loved one. Being able to remain focused on giving the right advice and support despite experiencing the emotions of others is a real skill and strong calm communication is required. </p> <p>All the training and mentoring you will need to undertake this role will be provided - no clinical experience is required; however, we do ask that you read the pre employment guidance which will support you when you commence training.</p> <p>All of the instructions and advice you will be giving to callers/patients is managed through a triage tool, it is intuitive and will present to you at the right time.</p> <p>No clinical experience is required, and although some call-centre experience would be an advantage, it is not essential.</p>

  <p>Help for Psychology is a friendly, growing team. We carry out multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental assessments and provide psychoeducation and therapy for children and young people at our clinic in Norwich. We are a recognised provider of NHS Right to Choose services in Norfolk and Waveney. We have a team of employed and associate clinicians and this role has been developed specifically to support our existing senior clinicians (who also work part time) in managing our team of employed clinical psychologists, assistant psychologists and trainees from the UEA. There is also the opportunity to join the senior management team in shaping the future direction of the company. This would be an ideal role for an experienced clinical psychologist who is seeking a more flexible role where there is the opportunity to balance workload and professional development (we are happy to talk about flexible work hours and will even consider a term time only contract). We are committed to providing a truly holistic, multi-disciplinary service to children and young people in the local area, with clinicians from a range of disciplines (psychiatry, paediatrics, occupational and speech and language therapy) and in turn can offer an attractive salary and benefits package, a comfortable and airy work environment and free parking on site.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The role will provide a flexible mix of clinical work (both assessment and therapy), supervision and management and the opportunity to be part of the wider senior management team shaping and developing the future direction of the company. Many of our cases are complex and we need someone with a good understanding of autism, ADHD and joint presentations, who also brings substantial knowledge of trauma, attachment difficulties, and mental health challenges. From a therapeutic point of view, we currently offer psychoeducation, adapted CBT, EMDR, ACT, Compassion Focused and CAT informed therapy packages, and would be happy to embrace new ideas and support additional training.</p><p>We need strong supervision skills and would support the successful applicant to pursue management training, or coaching, if this was required.</p><p>There would also be the opportunity to support workforce planning and to contribute strategically.</p>

Although we have grown significantly in the last few years, the family feel remains. People don't work for us, they work with us.</p><p>We pride ourselves on supporting flexible working practices. We appreciate that dropping children off at school, picking them up in the evening and having the time to attend school concerts etc is important. Our clinical appointment times reflect this.</p><p>We also appreciate that people need a good work-life balance and workloads for our team reflect this. Our assessments are high quality and we always aim to make sure that families feel heard and that they have had enough time to tell their story. We have invested time in developing clinical tools that help clinicians to spend less time on admin and report writing and more time on clinical work.</p><p>We support training and offer CPD opportunities. Due to our Clinical Director's links with Kings College London, there is also the opportunity to be involved in research and data collection.
