<p>The primary purpose of the Recovery Engagement Worker (Expert by Experience) role is to contribute to the delivery of recovery-focused, trauma-informed support services by drawing upon personal lived experience of substance misuse recovery and/or related life challenges such as mental health, homelessness, or involvement with the criminal justice system. By sharing relevant aspects of your own journey in a professional and appropriate manner, you will help build trust, reduce stigma, and inspire hope among service users navigating their own recovery paths.</p>
<p>A key aspect of this role is to champion the voice of lived experience through coproduction, actively collaborating with service users and colleagues to design, deliver, and improve services that genuinely reflect the needs and insights of those with direct experience. You will be a role model for positive change, helping to embed the value of lived experience within all aspects of service delivery.</p>
<p>You will play an integral part in creating a safe, inclusive, and compassionate service environment that is strengths-based and trauma-informed. Your unique perspective will contribute to continuous improvement, co-production, and the delivery of meaningful, recovery-oriented outcomes for the people we support.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are looking for a creative and motivated professional with experience of supporting young people with their mental health needs to join our team as a youth justice link worker. The post holder will work within Trafford CAMHS as a senior clinician. You will need to be a registered professional. This could be from a range of backgrounds including clinical psychology, psychotherapy, social work, nursing or occupational therapy. You will understand young people's mental health and have experience working with risk and trauma informed practice. One working day will be spent based within Trafford Youth Justice team, part of the local authority children and young people's services. The successful candidate is required to managea caseload and provide a range of high quality care appropriate to the child or young person's needs which will include; mental state assessment, risk assessment and management, providing consultation to colleagues within Youth Justice and to wider networks such as social care and, Greater Manchester Police and courts. The post holder will have a range of skills and knowledge to deliver care in a multi-agency team setting and receive clinical supervision and management supervision from local CAMHS service, and peer supervision with the CAMHS and youth justice teams. Experience of assessment of neurodevelopmental conditions will be advantageous.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p><strong>Clinical Duties:</strong></p>

<li>To work autonomously undertaking assessment of referrals from Trafford YJ Service. Gathering appropriate information from the child, family and relevant agencies.</li>
<li>To participate as a senior clinician within the core CAMHS team, offering assessment and intervention to young people with moderate to severe mental health need.</li>
<li>To develop a formulation and plan for intervention, negotiating this with the patient and parents, communicating to the referrer and relevant professionals.</li>
<li>To contribute to the duty function of the service, including assessment and management of risk.</li>
<li>To implement and manage intervention utilising the skills and expertise of the multi disciplinary team, and other agencies.</li>
<li>To manage your own case load, effectively managing your own capacity.</li>
<li>To actively participate in clinical supervision.</li>
<li>To attend and contribute to multi disciplinary team and multi agency meetings.</li>
<li>To provide consultation to other professionals</li>

  <p>MFT CAMHS Emerge 16-17 CMHT offer developmentally appropriate accessible and young person centred mental health services to young people aged 16 and 17 years, who live in Manchester Salford and Trafford.   <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our developing Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT) in Wigan (previously called Living Well).</p> <p>Wigan Community Mental Health services are going through an exciting period of change in line with Community Transformation. You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team, working alongside Recovery Workers to deliver impactful, psychologically-informed interventions. This is a unique opportunity to build on your MHWP training and positively change lives. In this role, you will:

Provide crucial, evidence-based support - you will use your training to deliver wellbeing-focused interventions, helping service users with complex mental health presentations. Your work will directly support recovery plans, focusing on key areas like managing emotions, improving sleep, and building confidence
Be a key part of the team - you'll work closely with your line manager, supervisor, and the rest of the drug and alcohol team, engaging with service users and their families to develop strengths-based, outcome-focused care plans
Grow your skills with expert guidance - you will receive regular supervision from a qualified professional, such as an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist or a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist. This ensures you're always learning and delivering the highest quality of care.
Collaborate and communicate effectively - you'll liaise with other health providers to ensure seamless continuity of care and communicate sensitive information to promote effective teamwork and positive outcomes for clients.</p>
