  <p>We are delighted to have opportunities for enthusiastic and dedicated mental health support workers to join us and work within a busy and innovative CAMHS Outreach service to offer Home Treatment for young people with eating disorders. If you feel you are a good fit for this role, we advise that you submit your application ASAP as we will be capping the number of applications.</p> <p>Our service operates from 8am - 8pm 7 days a week, across Bristol, South Glos &amp; North Somerset. We are looking for staff to cover these areas. Due to the wide patch we cover,driving license and car to allow the ability to travel across these areas as crucial to the role.</p> <p>The roles will include a variety of training opportunities, including internal training in family based treatment for Eating Disorders, CBT-E, and crisis support and supported eating.</p> <p>We will also offer opportunities to access our wider CAMHS training curriculum, alongside regular individual and group supervision. You would be working amongst a skilled, supportive &amp; caring team of registered and non-registered practitioners.</p> <p>o Temporary base is currently in Perry Road, Bristol.</p> <p>o This is a developing service, which will enhance our current offer to young people who have eating problems. This includes community nursing and acute hospital support. The team operates at the interface of Acute Hospitals, Home Treatment and Inpatient Admission, alongside locality CAMHS teams.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We provide short term intensive home treatment, and in-reach into Acute Hospital settings as an extension to a Community CAMHS care package.</p> <p>We aim to support young people and their families to avoid inpatient admissions where possible and support them with recovery in a home setting. The team currently is made up of a skilled mix of band 7 &amp; band 6 Mental Health Practitioners &amp; Band 4 Support Workers. We aim to work in pairs where possible, however there are times that you would be expected to work autonomously with indirect support and supervision from a registered practitioner.</p> <p>This role will be working within a specialist CAMHS eating disorder service which offers a real opportunity to develop new skills whilst also increasing your current skills and knowledge base via direct work and specialist training.</p> <p>This role also includes working with YP who are being fed via Naso-Gastric (NG) tube in their home environment. You will not be providing NG feeds.</p> <p>Providing meal support, psychoeducation and emotional support to young people and their families who are effected by an eating disorder within Bristol, South Glos and North Somerset.</p> <p>Providing support in young people's homes and Acute Hospitals to prevent or decrease the length of hospital admissions where possible.</p> <p>Working alongside colleagues within the ED Home Treatment Team, and wider colleagues from Acute trusts and CAMHS.</p> <p><strong>Please see uploaded job description and person spec file.</strong></p>

  <p>We are looking for a Band 6 Clinical Practitioner - Eating Disorders, to join the North Somerset CAMHS Eating Disorder Team.</p> <p>The team is a rated by its staff as very supportive and offers good development opportunities and has strong historic links to Exeter University.</p> <p>You will be working in North Somerset, with Bases at The Barn Clevedon and in Weston Super Mare. This post entails travelling to meet the requirements of the role, therefore a driving license and access to a car is essential.</p> <p>You will be working with CYP with a range of eating difficulties and other comorbidities due to their eating. Our aim is to support young people, alongside their families and carers, to recover.</p> <p>The North Somerset CAMHS ED team is a busy thriving CAMHS team that is passionate about delivering highly effective and accessible services to the young people and families of North Somerset.</p> <p>The team is a well established multi disciplinary team offering evidence based interventions. The team are a diverse team and are committed to staff development and staff well being with excellent supervision and CPD opportunities.   <p><strong>Your role will involve providing triage, assessment, and treatment to support young people and their families/carers who present with a range of eating disorders and co-morbidities.</strong></p>
<p>The team offers a variety of treatment approaches, including group-based interventions, family therapy, and individual treatments.</p>
<p>You will work collaboratively with core CAMHS clinicians, the Eating Disorder Home Treatment Team, and the medical team at The Seashore Centre.</p>

  <p>In this busy and rewarding role, you'll be a key member of a multidisciplinary dental team, supporting the delivery of high-quality care across a range of settings. Following appropriate training, you'll assist Dental Officers in treating adults and children, including those with Additional Needs or complex medical conditions, while offering reassurance and clear communication to patients and their families - especially those who may be anxious or distressed. Where trained, you'll process dental radiographs, including OPTs, and maintain radiographic equipment. A sound understanding of medical emergencies is essential, including the preparation of emergency drugs under guidance.</p><p>You'll work in full compliance with Somerset NHS Foundation Trust policies and national legislation, including IRMER, Health &amp; Safety, Infection Control, Safeguarding, and Information Governance. As a registered dental professional with the General Dental Council, you'll maintain CPD and participate in training, audits, and peer review. the latest developments in psychological practice.</p>  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p></p><p>We currently have an opportunity for
a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist at our forensic mental health hospital, Heatherwood
Court. Comprising of a Locked Rehabilitation Service (1 female ward) and a Low
Secure Service (1 male and 2 female wards), Heatherwood Court treats patients with
complex needs, including severe and enduring mental illness, complex trauma,
and difficulties consistent with a diagnosis of personality disorder. </p><p>We are looking for applicants with
experience of working with service users with complex needs and risk behaviours
along with those who have an interest and prior experience of delivering
evidenced-based interventions for people with personality disorder and/or
complex mental health problems. We are particularly interested in candidates
who have received DBT training, but would offer training to suitable candidates
on appointment.</p><p>This post will join an established, dynamic
team of psychologists including a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, , Forensic Psychologist and
Assistant Psychologists, working as part of a specialist multi-disciplinary
team. The team are also supported by Positive Practice Workers, graduate
psychologists in blended role combining both support worker shifts and clinical
days with the teams. There are also regular opportunities to network with the
wider Iris Care Group qualified psychologists within Departmental Meetings and Psychology
away days.</p>
