<p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring individual with a passion for improving care for young people with mental health difficulties to join our Salisbury CAMHS team and support our Salisbury CAMHS Liaison team. You will work closely with the CAMHS Mental Health Liaison Lead and CAMHS Practitioners covering the Mental Health Liaison at the local acute hospital, Salisbury District Hospital, and MDT colleagues in Salisbury CAMHS.</p>
<p>You will work with children and young people who come to hospitals and need mental health assessment and support. In this role every day is different and you will be working with multidisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals and mental health clinicians.</p>

If so, we have an exciting part time opportunity (30 hours per week) in our in-patient mental health unit in central Southampton, joining our supportive and dynamic multi-disciplinary teams working with adults with a range of mental health conditions.This is not a conventional gym instructor role, you will be using exercise as a therapeutic tool. You will be flexible, creative, resilient, able to think on your feet and adapt sessions to suit the needs and abilities of service users.   <p>You will be part of an experienced and reflective multi-disciplinary team offering generic and specialist assessments and treatment as well as providing complex case consultations. As well as individual child psychotherapy, we also offer parent child relationship focused interventions, parent infant psychotherapy and STPP.</p>
<p>Psychotherapy is valued within Oxford Health and in Banes, Swindon and Wiltshire we have 9 child psychotherapists and 5 trainees across the 5 CAMHS teams and we meet annually with our counterparts in Oxford and Buckinghamshire, so you would be joining a strong network of child psychotherapists who meet regularly to think about our work.</p>
<p>You will receive regular clinical and management supervision within an environment that values the mutual support and skills of team members. Oxford Health has a strong training culture and we have a trainee in each of our CAMHS teams, the successful applicant would take responsibility for her service supervision. Then, we would love to hear from you.</p><p>We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified HCPC Registered Clinical or Forensic to work within Ashford, our low secure inpatient unit for people with learning disabilities. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 8a Psychologist to clinically lead the psychological service as well as having an active involvement in wider service improvement and delivery projects.</p><p>We have a track record of innovation and service development which we strive to maintain and improve upon, being one of few services accredited by both the QNFMHS and QNLD. We have adapted and implemented the Good Lives Model of care to support a service-user led service whilst informing an individualised plan of care. The Multidisciplinary team are enthusiastic to work in a psychologically informed ethos supporting psychological models of care that are in place, including formulation, Positive Behaviour Support and more recently our adapted Dialectical Behaviour Therapy service to encourage a trauma-informed approach.</p><p>Close links exist with the Southampton Clinical Psychology Doctoral Training Programme. The Trust supports continuing professional development and research activity, with established links with other Psychological Therapy Services within Forensic Services.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As well as being clinical lead for the Ashford low secure service, there will also be opportunities to undertake discrete complex pieces of work within our multidisciplinary Forensic Community Learning Disability Team (FCLDT) as well as leading the main CBT informed group psychological programmes across the two teams.</p><p>The role will allow you to administer a variety of neuropsychological and psychological assessments in addition to practicing direct therapy approaches and conducting comprehensive risk assessments. The service is always evolving so new psychological approaches are welcomed to meet the needs of our current patients. The candidate is to have excellent communications skills that can be adapted to meet individual patient needs as well as being able to work indirectly within established multidisciplinary teams. The role will require facilitation of formulation meetings and reflective practice sessions with the team to support high quality delivery of care as well as delivery of appropriate staff training.</p><p>The post holder will be supervised by the service Consultant Psychologist who is an Approved Clinician within the service, demonstrating the strong role Psychology has within the service. The role would particularly suit a psychologist who has special interests in working in forensic services and/or the learning disability field.</p>

  <p> <strong>Support the pre-operative assessment process, working closely with the wider therapy team to gather information on patients' home environment, functional abilities and support needs</strong></p> <p></p> <p> <strong>Liaise with patients, carers and external teams, including pre-assessment from other trusts (e.g. Southampton) to ensure all necessary adjustments and equipment are in place before surgery. </strong></p> <p></p> <p> <strong>Assist in delivering therapy interventions for patients pre and post-operatively, focusing on functional independence, mobility and discharge planning</strong></p> <p></p> <p> <strong>Carry out basic assessments such as exercise provision and mobility progression under the supervision of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists and provide feedback to the wider team.</strong></p> <p></p> <p> <strong>Support patients with equipment provision and home adaptations</strong></p> <p></p> <p> <strong>Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, nursing staff and consultants to ensure seamless patient care.</strong></p> <p></p> <p> <strong>Contribute towards patient education, reinforcing key information about recovery, rehabilitation and safe discharge.</strong></p> <p></p> <p> <strong>Maintain accurate documentation</strong></p> <p></p> <p> <strong>Participate in supervision, training and service development, helping to improve and refine the elective orthopaedic pathway.</strong></p> <p></p> <p> <strong>To participate in a 7 day working pattern including extended hours.</strong></p> <p></p>
