  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>With current NMC, HCPC, SWE or BABCP registration alongside a recognised qualification, you'll have a working knowledge of CAMHS and/or adult mental health and have an understanding of assessing complex mental health needs &amp; levels of risk, including safeguarding and self-harm.</p>
<p>Using your experience of working with vulnerable people and their carers who present with complex mental health needs and are often a risk to themselves or others, you'll undertake assessments and formulate plans for intervention, in collaboration with the Child, Young Person and those who care for them.</p>
<p>Dedicated to providing an environment that encourages patient-centred involvement, you'll promote good working relationships as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team, making sure care is coordinated with the internal and external departments you work with, with the ultimate aim of providing the best patient journey possible.</p>
<p>Using your knowledge of evidence-based practice, you'll offer therapeutic solutions in line with the National Institute for Health &amp; Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines.</p>
<p>You will work as part of the duty and assessment team within the service and have a caseload of young people to whom you are offering ongoing intervention.</p>

  <p>The Mental Health Practitioner will be an integral part of the MHST in Bolton.   <p>As an autonomous practitioner you will play a key part in the delivery of high-quality service provision that promotes and improves the mental health and well-being of children and young people, their families and carers. Managing a complex caseload within the multi-disciplinary team setting, the post holder will provide a range of high-quality care appropriate to the child or young person's needs which will include full mental health assessment, risk assessment and management, family and social assessment, consultation and therapeutic interventions.</p>
<p>Within a systemic and holistic framework, you will undertake needs led, evidence based, highly skilled assessments and provide therapeutic interventions, ensuring this is done evidencing shared decision making and partnership working with children and young people, their families and carers.</p>
<p>You will provide advice, information, consultation and supervision within the service and externally within your specialist area.</p>
<p>As part of working together you will actively liaise with and support robust partnership working arrangements between the CAMHS team and community partners and other key stakeholders involved with the child across agencies that work within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health THRIVE framework.</p>
<p>This is a clinical post and the expectation of time management is the majority of time will be spent in actual practice.</p>
