  <p><strong>Are you a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist seeking a new challenge?</strong></p> <p>A full time opportunity has arisen for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join the Oxfordshire Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team and Maternal Mental Health Service in a development role. The right candidate will work across both teams to play a key role in providing evidence-based treatments to perinatal patients across Oxfordshire, as well as supervision, training and consultation.</p> <p>We are looking for a skilled psychologist who is motivated to develop towards clinical leadership and service development, as well as the provision of specialist supervision and support to more junior members of staff.You will have experience of working alongside a range of other professionals to provide psychological advice and consultation regarding formulation and treatment.</p> <p>Our ideal candidate will have experience of providing psychological assessment and intervention for adults in the perinatal period with severe and/or complex mental health difficulties.</p> <p>We welcome applications from newly or soon-to-be qualified clinical or counselling psychologists.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This role is crucial in ensuring that patients get timely access to high quality specialist psychological treatments within the Oxfordshire Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team. As part of the role, you will:</p> <ul>  <li>Provide psychological assessment and intervention for adults with severe and/or complex mental health difficulties presenting in the perinatal period and their families in outpatient, community and inpatient settings as required. This may include the use of digital technology.</li>  <li>Supervise and support the psychological assessment and interventions provided by assistant and trainee psychologists and other clinical members of the team who provide psychologically based care and treatment, dependent on experience.</li>  <li>Provide ad hoc advice, consultation and supervision on clients' psychological care to colleagues and other professionals as delegated by the Principal Clinical Psychologist.</li>  <li>Work towards the standards, duties and responsibilities expected of a band 8a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, which, if achieved in line with developmental reviews, will lead to an opportunity for promotion to band 8a.</li> </ul> <p>You will excel at working autonomously, managing a caseload and taking responsibility for the governance of your psychological practice within a multidisciplinary team. You will be familiar with utilising research skills for audit, policy and service development.</p>

  <p>The successful applicant will be joining the service during an exciting period of service development and transformation. They will receive clinical supervision from a senior Psychologist (with BABCP Accreditation if required) and will work closely with AEDS psychological therapies team.</p> <p>The post holder will be responsible for providing or contributing to the clinical supervision of Trainee Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists; this is, with support and, where applicable, training to assist in the development of these supervision skills.</p> <p>The post holder will be expected to carry out comprehensive assessments and formulations and plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of their psychological interventions (individual and group). They will additionally be required to contribute to the work and functioning of the multi-disciplinary team, where appropriate.</p>

  <p>To provide a qualified specialist child and adolescent psychotherapy service to children and young people with mental health problems across all sectors of care as part of a multi-disciplinary CAMHS team. <p>The post holder will be working across schools supporting trainee EMHPs in the borough of Hillingdon by providing supervision, consultation, mental health assessments and evidenced based mental health treatments to children, young people and their families.       <p>Key responsibilities of the post holder will include:</p>

<li>Day to day operational running of the MHST teams, with support from Clinical Lead/Supervisor and CAMHS management structure. This may include managerial tasks such as recruitment, managing performance, ensuring team meetings take place, and management of healthroster.</li>
<li>Holding a caseload and undertaking the role of lead professional for children/young people with mild to moderate mental health problems in educational settings.</li>
<li>Working as an autonomous and accountable practitioner. This involves the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the care for the child or young person.</li>
<li>Developing and disseminating packages of care which may include variety of evidenced based interventions and work with parents and teaching staff on an individual and in a group setting.</li>
<li>Working collaboratively with young people and their families incorporating the use of outcome measures within their work.</li>
<li>Offering specialist support, consultation and training to staff within the service and other agencies where appropriate.</li>
