<p>The successful candidate will work closely across the 5 Peterborough MHST's, to ensure that the MHST is a success. They will join a dynamic service in a creative environment where evidence-based interventions, new ideas, ways of working and supporting children and young people are actively encouraged.</p>
<p>This is a unique opportunity to engaging in important clinical work within schools and colleges at an early intervention level across Peterborough.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This role will support the emotional wellbeing of children and young people across Peterborough, within an early intervention service. The successful applicant will provide psychological assessments and interventions to children, young people and their families, consultation with education establishments, training internally to the Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) within the Emotional Health Wellbeing Service (EHWS) and externally to education staff, and staff from the wider professional network.</p>
<p>This work will be in accordance with clinical governance processes and professional standards.</p>

  <p><strong>An exciting opportunity has become available within the Inclusion substance misuse team at HMP Stocken. We are recruiting for a full time band 5 Substance Misuse Practitioner.</strong></p>
<p>Come and join a busy vibrant team supporting men with recovery from substances at HMP Stocken. You will be working with a case load of men, supporting them through psychosocial treatment for their substance misuse.</p>
<p>HMP Stocken is a male Cat C prison and the Inclusion SMS team support the population by offering support for drug/alcohol issues.</p>
<p>You would be joining a busy, established team who would support you in your new role. This is an energetic role for an individual who is passionate about providing good quality substance misuse support within a busy and rewarding environment. The variety of the role will keep things fresh and stimulating whilst being part of a supportive team with effective management providing supervision and guidance.</p>

  <p>As part of the Inclusion Substance Misuse Team you would hold a case load of service users and appropriately manage your time to support their pathway through treatment, building care plans to support the service users throughout their journey.</p>

    <p>In January 2020, Cambridgeshire Community Services (CCS) NHS Trust launched two MHSTs in Huntingdon and Cambridge. A further ten MHSTs have been launched since then, with two more planned, bringing our total to 14 MHSTs by 2026. By 2030, all schools across England and Wales will have access to a MHST, as set out in the NHS Long Term Plan, therefore the successful candidates will be part of an exciting, expanding early intervention service.</p> <p>The project is a collaboration with between NHS England, Health Education England and the Department for Education, following on from the 2017 Green Paper Transforming children and young peoples mental health provision. This is a roll out of the work to improve access to mental health care for young people.</p> <p>You will join a supportive service that will have 25 MHST's across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Norfolk, so a ready support system is available. The MHSTs sit within CCS NHS Trusts Emotional Health and Wellbeing Service.</p> <p>The successful candidate will provide case management and clinical supervision to Trainee EMHPs (EMHPs once qualified) under the direction of the Senior Clinicians and Clinical Lead.</p> <p>They will manage a caseload and the provision of mental health care services to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems in education settings. They will also provide assessment and formulation of mental health difficulties in children and young people</p> <p>Furthermore, the successful candidate will offer evidence-based practice in guided self-help, CBT, child and adolescent mental health practice and Whole School Approaches to mental health.</p> <p>They will also clinically develop the provision of group work for children/young people and training for teaching staff, to include training and mentoring EMHP colleagues in order to improve the quality of the group work and training that we deliver.</p> <p>Please see the job description for further information.
