  <p><strong>The Community Therapy Service team in Wallingford is looking for an enthusiastic clinician with an interest in Mental Health to join the team as a Senior Band 6 in a part time capacity of 30 hours per week.</strong></p> <p><strong>Could this be you?</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a senior clinician with a mental health background, who is enthusiastic to develop their clinical practice within innovative and supportive multidisciplinary teams, treating patients in their own homes.</p> <p>The Community Therapy Service aims to provide high quality integrated therapy services working as a key member of the community MDT . We work closely with other multidisciplinary team members, social services and voluntary organisations for adults with a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a Mental Health Practitioner - Physiotherapist you will provide high quality mental health rehabilitation to patents referred to or within the Community Therapy Service (CTS). You will use your expertise to help support other CTS practitioners achieve rehabilitation goals. In addition to this you will be supporting our community response physical health pathway.</p>
<p>You will also work closely with the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) to minimise duplication, maximise efficiency and facilitate a seamless pathway between the two services for the patient understanding the roles and responsibilities of the clinicians for establishing and delivering a care plan for the patient.</p>

Post-holders must be able to attend all university training as required. Most teaching will be 2 days per week in conjunction with a minimum period of high-intensity CBT clinical practice per week working within the service. You will also receive clinical supervision from the University and TalkingSpace Plus from BABCP accredited supervisors.</p> <p>After completion of the PG diploma in CBT course, you will then have an opportunity to develop your CBT skills further by delivering CBT groups, offering consultations to other staff and starting training in working with patients with Long term physical health conditions.
