  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post involves providing psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions for people with common mental health problems and people living with long term physical health conditions (on the telephone and in an individual and group setting). Some of your role can be provided from home and you will also work out of TalkingSpace Plus venues within Oxfordshire.</p> <p>The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul>  <li>Assess clients for suitability for CBT or refer to manager/supervisor for advice on how to manage the case.</li>  <li>To evaluate and make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the service referral protocols, and refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent asnecessary.</li>  <li>Formulate, implement and evaluate therapy programmes for clients.</li>  <li>Educate and involve family members and others in treatment as necessary, conveying CBT formulations with sensitivity in easily understood language.</li> </ul>

<p>We have an opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to join our Oxford City locality Keystone Primary Care Mental Health Team, working across East Oxford.</p>
<p>In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills including intervention and assessment skills within the multidisciplinary Keystone hubs. You will have the opportunity to co facilitate CBT based groups, work with people individually using guided self-help and assess and develop care plans for people experiencing significant mental health difficulties.</p>
<p>Previous assistants within the team have successfully gone on to train as Clinical or Counselling Psychologists, or have secured other assistant psychologist roles within the NHS.</p>

You will be working in an integrated primary care setting, and will enjoy the chance to be part of an interdisciplinary team of colleagues from across mental health services, voluntary and community sectors.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Provide specialist assessments under supervision, including CBT assessments of clients referred to the team based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the clients care.</p><p>Working as part of the CAMHS community team, seeing clients individually and in-group settings. Working within other settings as required for clinical work e.g. day patient, inpatient and outreach settings.</p><p> Implement appropriate CBT interventions for individuals, carers, families and groups, adjusting and refining formulations drawing upon different explanatory models and maintaining a number of provisional hypotheses.</p><p>Under supervision, to be responsible and accountable for the assessment, treatment and discharge of clients whose problems are managed by CBT based standard care plans.</p><p> Maintain the highest standards of clinical record keeping including electronic data entry and recording, report writing and the responsible exercise of professional self-governance in accordance with appropriate professional codes of practice / BABCP and Trust policies and procedures.</p>

<p>You will provide a range of psycho-social interventions motivating and supporting service users to achieve recovery and positive outcomes within a recovery-orientated substance misuse treatment service</p>
<p>You will work in collaboration with clinical prescribing services to ensure the needs of each service user is met and that integrated working is a key element to Inclusion's prison services.</p>
<p>You will provide a drug and alcohol recovery service (incorporating assessment, recovery planning, casework coordination and psycho-social interventions) to problem drug and alcohol users located within the prison establishment</p>
