  <p>Hello applicants, my name is Ellie Varney and I am the Principal Allied Health Professional for Great Yarmouth and Waveney and a Play Therapist by profession. I am pleased to be advertising this post within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Great Yarmouth and Waveney. Arts and Creative Therapies have been an integral part of the CAMHS Team for many years and the successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing assessment and treatment to young people who are experiencing mental health difficulties.</p> <p>The Team are based at Northgate Hospital in Great Yarmouth and Meridian House in Lowestoft, with some flexibility around hybrid working.</p>    <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Team are looking for an experienced Arts or Creative Therapist who are interested in working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and are able to support the core functions of the team alongside their specialism.</p>
<p>We would be interested in accepting applications from the following professions;</p>
<ul>
<li>Art Therapy</li>
<li>Dance Movement Psychotherapy</li>
<li>Drama Therapy</li>
<li>Music Therapy</li>
<li>Play Therapy</li>
</ul>
<p>Applicants must have a Master's Degree in the above professions (or a Post Graduate Diploma with significant post qualifying experience working with complex young people/in mental health settings). Applicants must also hold either;</p>

<li>HCPC registration or</li>
<li>Be on a Professional Standards Authority approved register (i.e. BAPT, ADMP, PTUK, BACP)</li>
</ul>
<p>The main duties of the job will be;</p>
<ul>
<li>Undertaking assessments of suitability for their area of therapy</li>
<li>Working individually with young people</li>
<li>Group work or parent child work related to their therapy (i.e. filial therapy, CPRT etc.</li>
</ul>
<p>Additionally, clinicians within the CAMHS team are required to;</p>
<ul>
<li>Offer initial assessments of young people coming into the service</li>
<li>Provide engagement and psychoeducation work with young people and their families where needed.</li>
<li>Liaise with external agencies, such as Children's Services and schools</li>
<li>Understand and be able to manage risk whilst working with young people who are experiencing suicidal ideation or self-harm</li>
<li>Be able to recognise Safeguarding issues and act on these appropriately.</li>

We work hard to help children and young people avoid Tier 4 hospital admission, and when required, to expedite safe and effective discharge. You will take a key role in coordinating, delivering and evaluating our DBT-A informed pathway. You will be a champion for Routine Outcome Measures (ROMs) and will support embedding the use of these in our daily clinical practice across the service.</p> <p>You will also have a key role in service evaluation and associated data analysis, which will be supported and supervised by our Clinical Psychologist. There will be additional duties which will be considered and agreed with the Clinical Psychologist supervising you.</p> <p>Weekly supervision for this post will be provided by a Clinical Psychologist within the team. We have good links with the University of East Anglia (UEA) Clinical Psychology Doctorate Programme with previous post holders having been accepted onto the clinical doctorate and regularly have Trainee Clinical Psychologists on placement.</p>

If the answer is yes, then this could be the job for you!</p> <p>We are looking for Call Handlers to work<strong> 12 hour shifts from Monday to Sunday</strong>. This will be a mixture of day and night shifts</p> <p>Our emergency call handlers are committed, enthusiastic individuals who care about people. They must have the ability to listen and respond, processing information quickly and accurately into the Computer Aided Dispatch system. Customer service skills are important and the ability to remain calm and supportive as some callers will be experiencing significant distress and trauma, including the loss of a loved one. Being able to remain focused on giving the right advice and support despite experiencing the emotions of others is a real skill and strong calm communication is required. </p> <p>All the training and mentoring you will need to undertake this role will be provided - no clinical experience is required; however, we do ask that you read the pre employment guidance which will support you when you commence training. Please be aware we are looking for Full Time staff only, the Training &amp; Mentoring period is fully paid &amp; hours are Full Time.</p> <p>All of the instructions and advice you will be giving to callers/patients is managed through a triage tool, it is intuitive and will present to you at the right time.</p> <p>No clinical experience is required, and although some call-centre experience would be an advantage, it is not essential.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Answer 999 calls that come into the Emergency Operating Centre in a timely manner. Utilise the clinical triage software system you will have been trained in to deliver a category of response to our callers. Please note, there may be a change to this software, in the future and if so, full training will be provided. You are required to be polite, courteous and respectful at all times when talking to patients, callers and your peers, in line with the Trusts values and behaviours.
