MHST's are working within schools, ensuring children and young people receive faster access to earlier mental health support. You will be one of the senior clinical members of the team adding to the number of teams in a growing early intervention mental health service. <p>In this role you will support and provide a high-quality service to children and young people (and their families) experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. This will be done through the supervision of junior staff, providing consultations within schools and through direct delivery of evidence-based interventions to support the recovery of children and young people referred to the service. This work will be in accordance with clinical governance processes and professional standards.</p>

  <p>A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced individual to join a service offering psychosocial interventions to young people aged 14-35, deemed to be at increased risk of developing psychosis.</p> <p>Our 'At-Risk Mental State' service engages service users and their families with the aim of preventing or delaying their transition to psychosis.</p> <p>The post holder will take a lead role in liaising with local agencies and education providers to offer individually tailored social interventions to users of the service. Therefore, the successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to engage young people with a creative and flexible approach.</p> <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual who is able to work independently and enthusiastically support the team by working together. <p>You will be a main point of contact for service users and carers in the team and will be required to monitor their mental state, progress and level of functioning and requesting feedback from families (training provided) to help identify early signs of transition to psychosis whilst delivering a range of recovery-focussed interventions.   <p>The Northants Personality Disorder Hub is a countywide specialist service that works to enhance understanding of personality disorder and promote the delivery of effective interventions across community and inpatient services in Northamptonshire. The service provides a Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) programme, leads on the delivery of Structured Clinical Management (SCM) across mental health services and delivers numerous Understanding and Managing Emotions (U&amp;ME) groups. It also has a growing Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP) that is involved in promoting hope, improving services, and co-developing and delivering staff training.</p> <p>U&amp;ME is an 18 session group-based skills development programme that aims to help individuals to learn a broader range of strategies for managing their emotions and be more effective in relationships. The group uses Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) materials and was developed to meet the needs of individuals who would have traditionally fallen through the gap between primary and secondary care services. The successful candidate will be supported in their role by colleagues within the Personality Disorder Hub, being line-managed and supervised by the specialist service, attending &amp; contributing to professional development activities within the Hub, and co-delivering group interventions and staff training with other members of the team.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holders will work within a multidisciplinary team to:</p> <p> Provide assessment to clarify service users' presenting difficulties and suitability for the programme.</p> <p> Co-facilitate U&amp;ME group sessions alongside a Specialist Practitioner</p> <p> Collaborate in using outcome information to inform and develop good practice and review individuals' progress on completing the programme.</p> <p> Help develop systems and audit projects to allow any data collected to inform Trust management, commissioners, users and other relevant stakeholders of the needs of this population.</p> <p> Contribute to further service development that will aim to promote early identification of personality difficulties, help service users to access to the most appropriate interventions available across the pathway, and enable referring service colleagues to promote the use of effective coping strategies within their own short-term interventions.</p> <p> Contribute to skills coaching clinics to support service users to generalise skills learnt in group.</p> <p>Regular clinical supervision will be provided by a Clinical Psychologist and management supervision by the Service Manager. There are a range of development opportunities due to the service's role in training others, its strong internal CPD programme and commitment to reflective practice, and the integrated nature of Psychology Services across NHFT. <p>We are recruiting for a full-time <strong>Occupational Therapy Assistant</strong> to join our team at Marlborough House in Milton Keynes</p>
<p>Marlborough House is a 28-bed, medium-secure forensic mental health inpatient unit that provides care for men in conditions of medium security. The unit consists of two wards: a 20-bed acute ward and an 8-bed rehabilitation ward. It is part of the Thames Valley Forensic Mental Health Service and is located on the Milton Keynes University Hospital Site.</p>
<p>Recovery is a key element of our approach to treatment at Marlborough house, assisting patients in their journey to change attitudes, values, feelings, goals, and skills. The Recovery Approach is about finding and maintaining hope, re-establishing a positive identity, building a meaningful life, and taking responsibility and control.</p>
<p>You'll work under the supervision of our OTs to carry out routine occupational therapy interventions and basic assessments with clients, provide administrative support to the team and facilitate therapeutic groups.</p>

    <p>Bedfordshire Talking Therapies (BTT) is an integrated Talking Therapies service providing a range of Talking Therapies approved interventions.</p> <p>The successful candidate will provide high intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) with patients who have a range of complex Anxiety disorders and Depression related problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. As part of their caseload, the post holder will be expected to carry out assessments and offer CBT Groups as well as individual CBT treatment.</p> <p>The post holder will be required to work with people from different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and may work in various community settings, including GP surgeries and community venues. At present, the majority of clinical work is delivered remotely, with a small provision of face to face contacts being offered from our clinical bases in Bedford, Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard.</p> <p>The service seeks to provide ease of access for service users and to this end there will be a requirement to work flexible hours between 8am and 8 pm based on service requirements.
