  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Provide specialist assessments under supervision, including CBT assessments of clients referred to the team based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the clients care.</p><p>Working as part of the CAMHS community team, seeing clients individually and in-group settings. Working within other settings as required for clinical work e.g. day patient, inpatient and outreach settings.</p><p> Implement appropriate CBT interventions for individuals, carers, families and groups, adjusting and refining formulations drawing upon different explanatory models and maintaining a number of provisional hypotheses.</p><p>Under supervision, to be responsible and accountable for the assessment, treatment and discharge of clients whose problems are managed by CBT based standard care plans.</p><p> Maintain the highest standards of clinical record keeping including electronic data entry and recording, report writing and the responsible exercise of professional self-governance in accordance with appropriate professional codes of practice / BABCP and Trust policies and procedures.</p>

  <p>Children's Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy is based on a 3 Tier model of service delivery, with provision at Universal, Targeted and Specialist tiers. We offer assessment and treatment to children and young people with a wide variety of conditions, including cerebral palsy, autistic spectrum disorder and developmental coordination disorder. We also carry out home assessments and advise on equipment, housing adaptations and rehousing. The team works closely with colleagues in the wider multiagency team supporting children, young people and their families to achieve their maximum potential.</p>
<p>An exciting development opportunity that is part of this role is that the postholder will support the service's moving and handling specialist to deliver manual handling advice and training to mainstream settings for CYP with physical disabilities. The postholder will receive full training to undertake this support role.</p>
<p>Continuing Professional Development is actively supported through access to training, regular supervision, peer support meetings and staff appraisal scheme.</p>

Children's Therapy Assistant Practitioner

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>Our Early Intervention Service provides a three year service which offers assessment, treatment and support to people (and their families) who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis. We also provide a year long service for people who are at high risk of developing a first episode of psychosis. We are seeking one full-time Assistant Psychologist to support the work of our Psychologists, psychological therapists, other Assistant Psychologists and our multidisciplinary team in the service they provide. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will work closely with the Psychologists in the team to provide structured assessments, file reviews and manualised treatments under supervision to individuals and carers who use our service. They will also support the Psychologists to manage the psychology pathway within the service with the collation and analysis and presentation of data.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will ideally have experience of supporting and facilitating CBT-informed brief interventions under supervision. They will also have a strong academic record with excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent IT literacy skills and excellent skills in data collection and evaluation. They will also be able to engage positively and sensitively with people with mental health difficulties, their carers and their support networks, and be able to demonstrate an awareness of experiences and challenges that may face someone living with psychosis. The ability to work collaboratively with other professions is a central part of the post in order to provide holistic care within a biopsychosocial model.</p>
<p>The position requires the post holder to hold a driving licence and have use of a car due to need to be able travel across sites throughout Bedfordshire and Luton.</p>

  <p><strong>Operational Lead - MHST Clinical (or Family of) Psychology, Systemic Family Psychotherapy, Child Psychotherapy, Community Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, Art Psychotherapist or other core CAMHS profession registered with a governing body.</strong></p> <p>Bedfordshire CAMHS are excited to be recruiting into 5 posts for Band 8a Clinical Lead post (0.5 WTE) in each of our Mental Health Support Teams (MHST). The MHSTs are part of an exciting project funded by NHS England, Health Education England and partners with the aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community in response to the government's Green Paper for Young People's Mental Health. Bedfordshire &amp; Luton have been successful in having several MHST sites benefiting from significant investment in this area. This post is an opportunity to work with school staff and school cultures in developing school environments that are more conducive to supporting sustainably better emotional health and wellbeing.   <p>We are looking for a confident CAMHS professional with a demonstrable track record of providing good quality evidence-based interventions, experienced in offering clinical supervision and improving service quality with a strong interest in service development. You will be either a Nurse, Social worker, Art Psychotherapist, Psychotherapist or Psychologist with the requisite professional registration.</p> <p>The community served is multi-ethnic and culturally diverse and we welcome applicants who are skilled at working with the richness and complexity of this multicultural context. You will also provide triage, mental health assessments, effective brief therapeutic support, group work and workshops to prevent moderate to severe mental health problems developing, using the Thrive model. You will be required to be flexible, and be able to travel across Bedfordshire.</p> <p>The post is embedded in the community, and you will have an attached base in Bedfordshire CAMHS, and be an integrated part of the CAMH Access Services multi-disciplinary services and the wider CAMH Specialist Service. You will need a relevant professional registration, with excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.   <p>We are looking for a creative, forward thinking and motivated Psychotherapist or Arts Therapist to join our friendly and professional multi-disciplinary Emotional &amp; Behavioural (core) CAMHS Team based in Dunstable, within the South Bedfordshire Specialist CAMHS Service. </p> <p>This post will deliver a Psychotherapy / Arts Therapies service within Dunstable CAMHS. The post holder will offer flexible, evidence-based care, assessments and interventions, including specialist and generic CAMHS assessments and consultation to other clinical pathways within the Dunstable area (e.g. local CAMHS schools teams). </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This senior role will also have designated input into supporting wider clinical and management supervision for CAMHS Therapists. They will work with the South Bedfordshire CAMHS Lead for Psychotherapy / Arts Therapies to develop the discipline and contribute to the co-ordination and development of Dunstable area CAMHS trainees. They will liaise with colleagues in providing specialist training promoting the use of Psychotherapy / the development of recovery focused Arts therapies practice including co-produced approaches with experts through experience.</p> <p>The post holder will be supported by management and specialist clinical supervision and will attend monthly Psychotherapy / Arts Therapists meeting.</p>

At band 7, you would not be expected to be a primary supervisor, and involvement with provision of training, QI projects and leadership roles would be reduced.
