  <p>We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist or Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (CBT) to work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team.</p> <p>You should be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm and willingness to work proactively in both multi-disciplinary teams and within a multi-agency context. This role provides excellent opportunities for developing your skills in both direct and indirect team working, within a supportive team of experienced psychological therapists. </p> <p>The job will involve working alongside experienced MDT colleagues to offer one-to-one evidence-based psychological interventions to service users and their families, contributing to and delivering group work. The role also includes joint and indirect work with colleagues (team formulation, staff training, support and consultation around psychological issues); and appropriate audit, service development, evaluation and research activities as required. </p> <p>The post will suit a candidate with experience of work with adults with complex presentations, such as psychosis, bipolar disorder, complex trauma and personality difficulties. The psychological therapies team includes both clinical psychologists and CBT psychotherapists who offer a range of interventions including CAT, CBT, EMDR, ACT, family work, DBT-informed work, and CFT. The post would provide excellent opportunities in terms of developing specialist skills in psychological models of care.</p>

This training post will equip you to deliver a range of evidence based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions to clients with a range of common mental health problems in primary care.</p> <p>You will be required to attend taught and self-study days provided by the University two days a week. The remaining 3 days of the week you will work at either the Doncaster Taking Therapies or Rotherham service (1 post for Doncaster and 1 for Rotherham).</p> <p>On successful completion of the course you will be expected to work towards and maintain full accreditation with the BABCP.</p> <p>This role is fixed term for 12 months, which will become a permanent band 7 High intensity CBT post on successful completion of the course.</p> <p>Please note that this is not a remote only post and you will be required to have a face-to-face clinics.</p>

We are happy to consider flexible options. There are opportunities for indirect working (e.g. consultation, supporting formulation skills development).</p> <p>Our Service has 10 teams with excellent track records working closely together, with opportunities for gaining different experiences to develop your portfolio. Our internal training programme for staff is positively-rated and clinical supervision practice is highly valued.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist or Specialist Practitioner Psychologist to work as part of the neuropsychology service within the Mid Yorkshire NHS Teaching Trust. This is a fixed term post for 5.5 months, full-time though we will consider application for part time hours. The role will work in our neuropsychology outpatients department. You will have an overview of the service as a whole to ensure that patients and staff remain safe and care is appropriate and effective overnight. E.g. re-allocating work to cover unexpected staff absence. You must have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills as you will be coordinating care for a large number of complex patients.
You will provide clinical leadership, including line management of Band 5 Staff Nurses, and oversee line management of our Band 3 Nursing Assistants.
You must be able to think on your feet, problem solve and juggle conflicting priorities as well as motivate others in challenging times and utilise the resources available to you effectively.
The hours of work are 17:00pm-22:00pm over 7 days a week (including bank holidays).  The role is based from Hunslet Health Centre, though it is expected that you could travel across the city of Leeds during your shift to deliver patient care.
