<p>We are looking for a an experienced and passionate Service Manager&nbsp;to join our Gloucestershire Connect &amp; Offload Helpline.&nbsp;</p><p>Connect and Offload (CandO) is an open access Helpline providing a free confidential telephone helpline, webchat and text facility for people aged 18 and over and living in Gloucestershire; who would like support with their mental wellbeing.&nbsp;</p><p><em>“The person I spoke to was lovely and very comforting.&nbsp; She gave me so many ideas in terms of how to deal with my anxiety and get through the difficult times.&nbsp;&nbsp; I actually made a point of writing things down as it was so useful.”- Service User</em></p><p>The Helpline provides low to moderate emotional support, information and signposting 365 days a year between 2pm and 9pm.&nbsp; We aim to prevent, reduce and/or de-escalate mental distress. The service is available for people affected by mental illness, their carers/friends/family or professionals.</p><p>Helpline Workers support people via phone, webchat and text; supporting members of the public on an open access basis (without the need for a referral).&nbsp; We provide kind and compassionate support, treating each person that contacts us as an individual.&nbsp; Ensuring that the support we provide is tailored to meet their needs.&nbsp;&nbsp; Helpline Workers provide support using a non-judgmental, holistic, trauma informed and person centred approach.</p><p>As the Service Manager, you will&nbsp;lead a staff team to ensure that we are delivering high-quality, safe and person-centre support in line with contractual requirements – most importantly delivering great outcomes for people using our services.   <p>St Richards Hospice has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, skilled and compassionate Counsellor to join a well-established and highly respected counselling team at St Richards Hospice, where you will combine clinical counselling with a leadership and supervisory role.</p><p>The St Richards Counselling Service sits within the Family Support Team and provides a specialist bereavement and pre-death counselling service to clients in South Worcestershire. The team also encompasses the Bereavement Support South Worcestershire Service, offering group support those dealing with a sudden or unexpected death.</p><p>Working within our Family Support Team, you will undertake comprehensive assessments and provide one-to-one counselling and therapeutic group work for people affected by life-limiting illness or bereavement. You will manage your own complex caseload while also recruiting, supporting and line managing our team of counselling students and volunteers.</p><p>Being a team player is essential to this role, as you will work within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best possible care for our patients, their families and clients. You will also support the counselling allocation process and contribute to the delivery of education and training, both within the hospice and externally. You will also participate in the Family Support and Bereavement Referral Line rota.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will have a recognised qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy, hold membership of BACP (or an equivalent professional body), and be accredited or working towards accreditation.</p><p>Experience of working with patients with an illness that cannot be cured, along with their families and carers, is essential to the role. Substantial knowledge of grief and loss, and a deep understanding of the emotional needs of bereaved people, is crucial.</p><p>You will have a supervision qualification and experience facilitating therapeutic groups, alongside strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to work confidently with a wide range of individuals and professionals.</p><p>It would be advantageous if you hold (or are willing to work towards) a leadership qualification and have previous experience in leadership or line management.</p><p>Due to the nature of this role, a full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.</p>

  <p>As the successful applicant you will join our dedicated 24/7 team based in Gloucester A&amp;E Department. You will participate in the provision of a responsive, needs-led mental health assessment and short-term intervention service to people presenting to the General Hospital experiencing mental distress, mental illness and/or self harm.</p>
<p>This role is a role that would have an expectation of working a mixture of days and nights, the frequency of these can be discussed at interview.</p>
<p>We will work with you to ensure that we support your professional and developmental needs, this includes a personalised induction to ensure that you are fully prepared and supported in delivering this service.</p>

<li>Delivering a range of evidence based psychosocial interventions to individual patients who have predominantly self-harmed</li>
<li>Assisting and supporting general hospital colleagues in making decisions about treatment and care in complex situations</li>

<li>Representing mental health services within the Hospitals Trust.</li>

Senior Mental Health Liaison Practitioner

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p><strong>This post is offered on a permanent basis. The hours are part time for 22.5 hours a week.</strong></p>  <p>We are looking for an experienced Band 6 to join the Children's Autism and ADHD Assessment Service (CAAAS).</p>  <p>CAAAS is a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Specialist Nurses, Clinical Psychologists, Paediatricians, Psychiatrists and Administrators which offers assessments for Autism and ADHD for children in Gloucestershire.</p>  <p>The service is relatively new (opened September 2022) and has been coproduced with families and developed in line with the NHS 10 year plan. As a new service we continue to develop and explore how best to offer a high quality evidence based service, whilst addressing significant demand and long wait times.</p>  <p>When the service was developed, although it was developed as an assessment only service, there was recognition of the importance of the role of Occupational Therapy to support understanding of the sensory world of neurodiverse young people, alongside supporting with activities of daily living and understanding motor skill differences. This role was therefore developed to offer some limited post diagnostic support to families around these areas.</p>  <p>We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic , knowledgeable, and thoughtful team member who can help us to continue to offer so key pieces of Occupational Therapy support to the families who need it most.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p><strong>Inpatient Complex Psychological Interventions: Recovery and Acute Wards</strong></p> <p>Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Trust is looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Psychologist to work across the Recovery Units in Cheltenham and Acute Inpatient wards at Wotton Lawn Hospital, Gloucester. This is a full-time post on a fixed term 12-month contract.</p> <p>Honeybourne and Laurel House are Inpatient Rehabilitation Recovery Units in Cheltenham. Wotton Lawn Hospital is in Gloucester and has four acute wards and a psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU). The Assistant Psychologist will become part of the Inpatient Complex Psychological Interventions department working across the Recovery Units and Acute Wards primarily to support the inpatient team to deliver psychological interventions. </p> <p>There is a supportive and enthusiastic psychological team consisting of two clinical psychologists, an art psychotherapist and two clinical associate psychologists (CAPs).The team support regular trainee placements from the Bath Clinical Doctoral Training Course, undergraduate placements and art psychotherapy trainee placements. Regular service development and research is undertaken in collaboration with GHC research department. Publication is actively supported and encouraged within the team.</p> <p>In the wider community, psychologists, psychotherapists and art psychotherapists working within Recovery, Assertive Outreach and Early Intervention Teams form complex psychological interventions (CPI).</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This role provides the opportunity to work with people both in short term, acute contexts and longer-term rehabilitation settings. Across both Inpatient Acute and Recovery services, psychological assessment, formulation and intervention with patients under supervision will form part of the role. A main focus of the role will be delivering group interventions and promoting psychological understanding within the multi-disciplinary team, for example, through Team Formulation meetings.</p> <p>This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all statutory and mandatory training and post holders must be able to undertake physical interventions. Fitness for physical intervention will be assessed by Occupational Health. </p> <p>The ability to get to work independently via driving or public transport.
