  <p><strong>Exciting Opportunity: Join Our Recruit to Train Programme!</strong></p> <p>Our service has an exciting opportunity for a Recruit to Train Trainee CYP RtT - CBT Anxiety and Depression to join our team as part of the NHS England (NHSE) funded Children and Young People (CYP) Psychological Training Programmes (formerly CYP-IAPT).</p> <p>Recruit to Train is a government-funded initiative aiming to grow the child mental health workforce to meet much needed demand. To help reach this goal, NHSE covers salary and training costs for a 1-year post, allowing services to employ trainees to aid in implementing new or expanding existing specialist pathways to bridge the gaps in CYP mental health support.</p> <p>This is a unique opportunity to apply your learning from weekly teaching into practical clinical interventions working with clients in the service making a direct impact in the lives of children, young people and their families.</p> <p>Please note: The position will be based within MHSTs across Mid and South Essex with a negotiable base and successful candidates will be expected to travel in the role andto Anna Freud in North London (Rodney St, N1 9JH) for teaching during the training year.</p>

Trainees will be both an employee of the service and an enrolled student with UCL/Anna Freud. Upon completion, qualified trainees will receive a UCL Postgraduate Diploma.<strong>Application Process </strong></p> <p>This is a dual application process. Recruit to Train CYP - CBT Anxiety & Depression

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>ESNEFT is a large NHS Foundation Trust serving a population of approximately 1 million people in the Suffolk and North Essex area.</p>
<p>ESNEFT is starting a new Complex Obesity Service which will deliver bariatric/metabolic surgery, endoscopic and medical weight management treatments to the Suffolk and North Essex population. We have designed our service with many innovations to make it fit for purpose for the current obesity landscape.</p>
<p>We have combined the traditional Tier 3 and Tier 4 into a single comprehensive service (Tier 4 PLUS) and will offer all treatments including IWMP, GLP-1 medications, endoscopic and surgical bariatric procedures.</p>
<p>A national BOMSS survey of bariatric psychologists in 2022 found that there was a significant disparity between what activity bariatric psychologists wanted to be delivering within Specialist Weight Management Services and the activity they were actually carrying out. Psychologists spent most of their time assessing patients for bariatric surgery or other treatments whereas they would prefer to focus on psychological treatment of patients who need it.</p>
<p>We have allocated funding and created outline pathways for psychological assessment and treatment to provide a quality psychological element to the service. We are keen to recruit a psychologist who can continue to innovate and develop these assessment and treatment approaches using the latest evidence and quality standards.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This post would be available full or part time and options for flexible working hours and remote working will be considered by mutual agreement.</p>
<p>The role within the Weight Management Service will involve both direct 1:1 patient care, service development, advice to other MDT members and the potential for group patient sessions. You will be a core member of the Multidisciplinary Team meetings and discuss each patient's suitability for treatment to agree with other members of the MDT a shared decision for treatment for each patient.</p>
<p>We are recruiting Bariatric Psychologists to develop and deliver this new service and currently seeking an experienced psychologist looking to progress their career in a Band 8b Principal Clinical Psychologist position. Supervision will be provided by experienced Consultant Bariatric Psychologists.</p>

We provide specialist assessment and treatment for children and young people with severe and enduring emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties. The service provides a responsive, timely and accessible service, targeted at those children, young people and their families who are most in need of specialist mental health services.</p> <p>This post is in Maple Team which works with those young people at risk of an inpatient admission. The team provides a rapid response service to adolescents with severe and complex mental health problems who are at risk of inpatient admission. The team provides outreach and intensive multi-disciplinary interventions as a community alternative to inpatient care. Team members also provide consultation, advice and support to professionals and carers involved with the young people. The team uses mentalization based approaches (AMBIT, MBT-A, MBT-F).</p>

An approach, to help us deliver timely, responsive and needs based mental health interventions for the children and young people in Bexley. As the Senior Art Therapist in Cedar Team, you will lead on the art therapy pathway in our service and provide clinical leadership to our Art Therapists.
