  <p>We are looking to recruit a Senior Cognitive Analytic Therapist (CAT) to lead our CAT pathway. This post plays a pivotal role in delivering specialist psychological care to adults with complex mental health needs. The post is an established position in Lewisham Integrated Therapies (LIT) and CAT has a long and valued history in the borough as well as in the Trust.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To lead on Cognitive Analytic Therapy in Lewisham. This involves being responsible for the provision of CAT in Lewisham for complex emotional needs, managing waiting lists, supervising junior staff, conducting assessments and offering Cognitive Analytic therapy. To also work closely with our stakeholders in the community mental health teams.</p>

Highly Specialist Cognitive Analytic Therapist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Band 8b registered clinical psychologist to work across the City and Hackney EQUIP and Heads Up Teams. EQUIP provides an assertive and responsive service to adults aged 18 - 65 for up to 3 years during their recovery from a first episode of psychosis. The service covers the City of London and London Borough of Hackney. Emphasis is placed on maximising wellbeing and on social, psychological, physical and educational/vocational recovery. The team works to standards set for early intervention in psychosis teams and participates in the annual National Clinical Audit on Psychosis. The team also works closely with the early detection team, HEADS UP, which provides support to those who are at risk of developing psychosis, and actively connects with local community groups in order to improve detection rates of this group.</p> <p>This post would be suitable for someone with significant experience, a strong interest in psychosis and early intervention and a collaborative approach to leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of psychology across EQUIP and Heads Up. They will also work closely with the operational lead and consultant psychiatrists as a member of the senior management team.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
   <p>The principal psychologist role provides leadership to and management of the psychology staff within the service, as well as contributing to the senior management team within the service. The post holder will work alongside clinical and/or counselling psychologists already in post to support individuals who are experiencing or at risk of developing first episode psychosis and their families/carers.</p> <p>The post holder will supervise and line manage the psychological professions in the team and lead on other aspects of governance required to deliver an effective service. </p> <p>Whilst there may be opportunities for a small caseload as well as supporting the team with complex assessments and psychological consultations, the main focus of the role is on the team's provision of effective and timely psychological interventions in accordance with NICE guidelines for Early Intervention in Psychosis, and ensuring that the psychological professionals are suitably led and supported towards that aim. </p>

  <p>Newham CAMHS is a large and vibrant specialist child and adolescent mental health service with a reputation for innovation and flexibility in meeting the complex mental health support needs of Newham's children, young people and families. It is centrally located on one site in Plaistow, Newham, and provides an extensive and growing range of services including multi-disciplinary specialist teams such as the Emotional &amp; Behavioural Teams, Adolescent Mental Health Team, Paediatric Liaison Team, Neurodevelopmental Team and the Well Being in Newham Schools Team. It meets weekly with community partners and social care as part of the Newham Multi Agency Collective. Practitioners work in Youth Zones and form part of the Vanguard Team - a specialist community psychology led service in Newham, for young people up to 25 years of age impacted by, or at risk of youth violence. There is a broad spectrum of disciplines and a long tradition of effective multidisciplinary and interagency working, outreach and consultation work. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The CWP role is to provide support in the Triage and management of families waiting for treatment with our waiting list team E&amp;B3 and also our Front Door Team with referrals. This will also involve delivery of both individual and group interventions for young people and parents under the supervision of a suitably qualified senior clinician. The applicant we be an experienced CWP who can supervise junior CWP staff and CWP trainees. </p>  <p>Additionally, our CWPs run workshops, raise awareness of mental health and emotional wellbeing to parent/carers, young people and professionals to promote positive mental health. CWPs will support clinicians in the running of other therapy groups. The post holder will be required to be creative, flexible, adaptable, professional and motivated in all aspects of their role, both in clinical delivery and within the development of the service provision. The successful candidate would contribute to the MDT, working within the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.</p>

<li>Work as part of the Bexley MHST team to manage a defined caseload with a focus on providing focused assessment and evidence-based intervention for children and young people (CYP) with mild to moderate mental health difficulties and their parents/carers.</li>
<li>Plan and deliver whole school activities, as part of a schools whole school/college approach to mental health and wellbeing.</li>
<li>Provide consultation and guided signposting to education settings. Be expected to provide Case Management and Clinical Skills Supervision to qualified and/or trainee EMHPs within the service.</li>
