<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>The service is run by a friendly team of 19 sonographers who rotate through General and Obstetrics departments with 12 cross-site Ultrasound Radiology Assistants. The services are run over 3, accessible sites, Eastbourne District General Hospital, Conquest Hospital and a brand-new state of the art Community Diagnostic Centre in Bexhill.</p>  <p>We run a range of out-patient appointment lists, in-patient services on the acute sites, and a range of one stop clinics including Early Pregnancy Assessment, Gynae, Breast Triple Assessment and Obstetric clinics, using 18 high-end ultrasound machines, which the Trust supports a timely machine replacement scheme for. We have two new reporting systems in the department, recently upgrading SECTRA PACS and ViewPoint 6 for reporting.</p>  <p>The ultrasound team work closely with our friendly, and supportive Radiologists and Obstetricians who promote specialist training in: Breast (including breast intervention), Head &amp; Neck, Paediatrics (including baby hips and cranial), MSK (including interventional procedures), orbits and small parts.At ESHT we encourage and support our team to advance their ultrasound skills to include these areas. The department also actively supports training of registrars, sonographer and radiographer students.</p> <p>Additionally, the ultrasound department provides opportunities for CPD, external courses and extension of administrative roles including QA, clinical audits, education officer, H&amp;S, and managerial duties.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

Vascular (including Carotids and DVT scanning) and small parts.</p> <p>You will be expected to work independently and issue your own reports. We welcome applications from obstetric only sonographers. <p>This is an exciting opportunity to join the Brighton Early Intervention in the Psychosis Team (part of Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust), a community service for people aged 14-65 who are experiencing their first episode of psychosis.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are looking for a person that has lived experience of psychosis, to support the delivery of recovery focused interventions in our Early Intervention Team. As an integral and highly valued member of our multi-disciplinary team, the Peer Support Worker will provide formalised peer support and practical assistance to service users, empowering them to regain control over their lives and their own unique recovery process.Working collaboratively alongside service users, the Peer Support Worker builds on a person's own narrative, ability, strengths and their links to social and community services. In the role you will work in partnership with multiple agencies in the community. Peer Support Workers engage with mental health service users to show empathy, share experience, inspire hope and promote recovery with the aim of assisting service users to gain and maintain independence in the community. The Peer Support Worker will assist service users in raising aspirations and developing personal goals, co-produce and co-facilitate groups and increasing individual occupational performance and participation. The role focuses on 'mutuality' i.e. the sharing of personal experience for mutual benefit, and is therefore a unique and highly valued therapeutic intervention</p>

<p>This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a community team within Sussex EIP. The Brighton EIP team is one of 6 Early Intervention in Psychosis teams provided by the Trust. The teams have a single service-wide governance group which oversees and leads on the delivery of care.</p>
<p>You will be supported by the team leader and the wider MDT. You will be provided with individual clinical supervision, and opportunities to link with other Peer Support Workers both within EIP and other services for peer support and development.</p>
<p>As a service we offer a real commitment to support your continuing professional development through a variety of internal and external training opportunities and university accredited courses.</p>
<p>The base for this post is in Hove however the team regularly works flexibly and remotely using a range of digital solutions for meetings and consultations.</p>
