  <p>B8a Clinical Psychologist 12 month maternity leave cover</p> <p>We are seeking to recruit a passionate, knowledgeable and dynamic Clinical Psychologist to join our Specialist Family Eating Disorder Service (SFEDS) based at Aldrington House Hove. SFEDS works with young people aged 10-18 with an eating disorder and their families across Sussex, and supports recovery through evidenced based interventions such as the Maudsley Family Therapy models and E-CBT. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality evidenced based treatment in accordance with NICE Guidelines and National Access and Waiting Times Standards.</p> <p>You will be joining a service of highly skilled and experienced Family and Systemic Psychotherapists, Consultant Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychology and Assistant Psychologists, Nurses, Dietitian, Support Workers and OTs.</p> <p>You will work as a member of the clinical service/team, providing a high quality, specialist applied psychology service to clients, their families or carers. In addition, to support psychological practice within the team through consultation, supervision, formulation and training.</p> <p>You will participate in systematic clinical governance and to offer clinical supervision to assistant, trainee and more junior psychologists and other staff. To utilise research skills for audit, service development and research within the area served by the team/service.</p> <p>We offer and support hybrid and flexible working, we require staff to be on site for 60% of their working week.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p> To provide a qualified, high-quality specialist psychology service.</p> <p> To be responsible for holding and managing a clinical caseload and to exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the planning and prioritising of own workload.</p> <p> To use analytical and judgment skills and be responsible for taking clinical management decisions in complex clinical issues.</p> <p> To clinically supervise assistant psychologists, trainee psychologists and junior psychologists, psychological therapists or counsellors and other staff as appropriate.</p> <p> To professionally supervise and, when appropriate, manage, assistant psychologists and trainee psychologists</p> <p> To complete assessments of those referred to the service and outcome this in a timely manner in line with code of Conduct</p> <p> To provide consultation, mentorship, supervision as appropriate.</p> <p> To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the service/team.</p> <p> To contribute to the development, evaluation and monitoring of the team's operational policies and services.</p> <p> To utilise research skills to undertake service evaluation, audit and research as appropriate and disseminate the results in the service and nationally.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We're looking for an experienced, BABCP accredited CBT Therapist to join our welcoming and dynamic CAMHS team in West Sussex. You should have a strong background in working therapeutically with children, young people and families, and demonstrable experience of providing supervision within CAMHS or CYP services. It would be desirable for candidates to have a CBT supervision training qualification, and some experience of teaching, training and leadership.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a senior member of the West Sussex CAMHS team, you would participate in the core multi-disciplinary assessment and intervention work of the team and engage in multi-agency liaison work as necessary. You would also be required to participate in the supervision, training and the overall governance requirements of SPFT CAMHS.</p> <p>While holding a small clinical caseload, you will provide support and supervision to a growing CBT workforce and contribute to our CBT leadership team across the wider Sussex CAMHS service, regarding innovative ways of developing our CBT offer. In particular, this role would support new CBT trainees in placement while they undertake their training at Kings College London. You would also help support our team with the implementation of new treatment pathways, so you would make good use of any specialist interests in working with OCD, PTSD, anxiety and depression.</p> <p>You'd part of a very busy but lively and welcoming CAMHS team, working alongside psychiatrists, nurses, OTs, social workers, psychologists and systemic, art and child psychotherapists. We offer a wide range of individual, group and systemic interventions, and is involved in a number of innovative evaluation and research projects and service developments. As such, you would be encouraged to develop your skills, ideas and interests to further your expertise and that of the team.</p>
