  <p>The post holder will be working within a busy team alongside a team ofregistered mental health nurses and be supported by the Team Manager,Senior Clinical Lead/CBT Practitioner, and team administrators.</p> <p>Post holders will have a high level of autonomy working across designated GP practices, managing their own clinics and providing mental healthassessment and evidenced based treatment for people aged over 18. You will provide a service to people who exhibit complex common mental health needs and stable, predictable and enduring serious mental health needs. You will be expected to develop and manage all aspects of their service, such as waiting lists according to local need, working within the parameters of the service operational policy.</p> <p>A key aspect of this role is GP consultation, liaison, education and training. You will be expected to attend GP practice meetings at least twice a year to discuss the service and actively seek feedback and report any issues to the team leader as well as areas for improvement and any innovative practice for sharing and disseminating. Staff will be expected to autonomously manage high volumes of referrals. Staff are expected to work on their own initiative in a busy and demanding service and to be able manage change effectively.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

  <p>An exciting opportunity for a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist to join our established Specialist Psychotherapy Service at BSMHFT, to support us in delivering and developing high quality therapy services for patients with complex attachment trauma and emotional needs. This post is open to professionals with a core mental health profession EG: psychology (clinical or counselling), art psychotherapy, mental health nursing or related field with further training in and experience of providing psychodynamic psychotherapy.</p>
<p>We are a well-established service that has been providing therapeutic services for over thirty years, for people with complex and enduring emotional difficulties. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of people committed to providing and maintaining high quality and compassionate psychological care and supporting staff in applying psychodynamic ideas to their work through the provision of supervision, consultation and training. Continuing professional development and the opportunity to learn from experience is highly valued in this service.</p>
<p>We are looking for someone who has a training and experience in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and an understanding and an interest in Compassion Focused Therapy and who is willing to engage in further training to meet the needs of the service. Any further training required will be supported by SPS. The post offers the opportunity to be involved in both individual and group therapy.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>A psychodynamic approach underpins all of our work at SPS. We provide group and individual long term psychotherapy for up to years. This includes a compassion focused group psychotherapy programme, a therapeutic day programme, analytic group work and individual psychotherapy. We also provide supervision, reflective practice , consultation, link work and training to staff across the trust and you would be expected to contribute to these activities as needed with a focus on the clinical provision in SPS.</p>
<p>As a member of the team you will be expected to contribute to projects that are aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of our service to our diverse Birmingham population.</p>
<p>You will be supported in this post through clinical supervision, reflective practice and line management arrangements. This position will be based at Callum Lodge in Winson Green and Coach House at the Uffculme site, although travel to other sites on occasion may be required.</p>
<p>There will be opportunities to work with colleagues across the trust on specific projects and there is an option to be part of the on call rota system.</p>

  <p>We are seeking to recruit a full-time Band 8a Senior Applied Psychologist in Adult Community Mental Health (Planned Care) at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHFT).   <p>We see clients with a range of complex mental health problems including CPTSD, personality disorders, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and moderate/severe presentations of depression and anxiety. We fully invest in the support and wellbeing of our staff. Staff have regular appropriate supervision, reflective practice and access to CPD to support professional growth.</p>  <p>We also provide opportunities in leadership, developing others, developing advanced therapeutic skills, and service/organisational development. </p> <p>As part of Community Transformation, psychological therapies are fully integrated into four Community Mental Health Teams across our four localities (Wolverhampton, Sandwell, Dudley and Walsall). We work within a strong multi-disciplinary ethos, with very good links with staff from Tier 1, our Recovery College and VCSE partners.</p> <p>The core CMHTs are supported by specialist services which also include psychological therapists: Complex Emotional Needs Service; Eating Disorders; Perinatal Services; 18-25s Transitions Team; Early Intervention in Psychosis; Clinical Health Psychology.</p>  <p>Whilst Operational managers provide our line management, we provide strong professional leadership, clinical supervision and support to all our psychological staff. We provide clinical services to the pan Black Country population of adults with learning disabilities, continually evolving in line with the Transforming Care Programme.</p>  <p>As an Applied Psychologist or Psychological Therapist based with the Wolverhampton Community Learning Disability Team you will work alongside an experienced MDT and supportive psychology colleagues to deliver high quality, person centred and evidence based services with the aim of achieving positive life outcomes for individuals.</p>  <p>We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated clinician who ideally has experience in working with adults with a learning disability. The successful candidate for this varied and dynamic role will be delivering 1:1 assessments and interventions for individuals with learning disabilities. In addition, you will be leading on the development, coordination and delivery of a programme of CBT informed group psychological intervention to Black Country citizen's accessing learning disability services. The role is diverse and rewarding with excellent cross division support.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will be part of a team committed to MDT working with people with learning disabilities. You will hold an individual caseload for delivering 1:1 interventions within the Wolverhampton locality, working systemically in line with families and carers where appropriate. With support from psychology and MDT colleagues you will lead on developing, delivering and evaluating a Division wide group programme to ensure citizens with a learning disability have appropriate access to evidence based psychological therapy. You will be skilled in both individual and group work adapted to match the different intellectual &amp; emotional abilities within the client group. </p>  <p>The team provides a full range of assessments, interventions, support, training and advice to individuals themselves, their families and paid carers and the network of multi-agency stakeholders who are involved in the care and support of people experiencing complex behavioural and/or emotional distress. A core member of the Wolves CLDT, you will bring experience combining the best of evidence based clinical assessment &amp; formulation with client centred therapeutic interventions. You will work with other members of the multi-disciplinary team and with colleagues from other services, providing expertise in psychological formulation for people with learning disability and mental health needs and their families/ carers.</p>   <h3>About us</h3>
  <p>Guided by recovery principles, the teams maintain close liaison and pathways with a range of external agencies including social support accommodation services and social care agencies across the region in order to ensure that people with a learning disability and mental health and/or behavioural distress needs are also well supported by the full range of services and opportunities that meet their whole life person centred needs and aspirations.</p>  <p>There are opportunities to develop new and existing group programmes. The post-holder support in training/supervising others, including practitioners &amp; trainees working within the team at different times.</p> <p>Our Division maintains good links with the full range of Doctoral Psychology courses at the Universities of Birmingham, Coventry and Warwick and Wolverhampton.</p> <p>Key staff are closely involved with Research and Innovation. CPD and supervision for all grades of staff is highly valued.
