  <p>Applications are invited for a Clinical / Applied Psychologist or Accredited Psychological Therapist. You will be an integral member of the Mid and North Hampshire Division's psychological therapies team. The post will be based in Basingstoke CMHT. Applicants should have a desire to embrace MDT working, training and team development. This post offers the opportunity to influence best clinical practice and the development of a psychologically informed and recovery focused CMHT.</p><p>We are seeking an enthusiastic clinician who has specialist interest and experience in working psychologically with trauma. The post holder will provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy individually and through group programmes as well as offering advice, consultation, reflective practice, clinical formulation and training to staff within the multidisciplinary teams. Evaluation of interventions and the impact of the service in terms of benefit to clients is an important component of what we strive to do. The post holder will require specialist knowledge and experience in the application of at least one psychological therapy (CBT, DBT, CAT).</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The Mid and North Hampshire Psychological Therapies Team is a thriving active team of psychologists and psychological therapists working within primary care, secondary care, EIP and acute and crisis teams. We are dedicated to delivering superb quality, evidence-based interventions. We pride ourselves on contributing to the development and implementation of innovative interventions. The range of psychologically focused therapies we deliver include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and EMDR. This is a new post, and the post holder will join an established psychological therapies team, with access to high quality supervision and support.</p><p>The Trust has strong links with Southampton University, particularly with the Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology, the MSc/Diploma in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy for Severe Mental Health Problems and training courses for IAPT. Opportunities for research and development within the post will be actively encouraged. We are keen to support training to increase your therapeutic skills and develop your leadership skills. <p>You will also work closely with the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) to minimise duplication, maximise efficiency and facilitate a seamless pathway between the two services for the patient understanding the roles and responsibilities of the clinicians for establishing and delivering a care plan for the patient.</p>

  <p>The Advanced STR worker will support custody practitioners in conducting triaging and screenings in custody and escalating to a practitioner if acute risk or complex needs are present. They will also be responsible in supporting the wider STR workforce with advice and clinical support across the Hampshire criminal justice systems.</p>
<p>Working pattern + Service operating hours</p>
<p>The role is flexible across the Hampshire area according to locality and custody/court need, so the candidate is required to have flexibility to travel to localities across Hampshire as per roster. The advanced STR worker may also hold a small caseload of complex service users to support their engagement with community services, this may include such services as drug and alcohol. You will be able to work independently on this caseload and therefore must have good time management skills.</p>

Advanced Support Time Recovery (STR) Worker

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We have an exciting opportunity for a full time (37.5 hours/week) band 5 Lived Experience Practitioner and Trainer, to join our Psychologically Informed Consultation and Training (PICT) team. This team sits within the Intensive Management of Personality Disorder and Clinical Therapies Team (IMPACTT).</p>
<p>The role of PICT is to support Berkshire Healthcare staff and partner organisations who work with clients that may meet criteria for the diagnosis of 'personality disorder'. We are a team of Psychologists, Psychotherapists and Lived Experience Practitioners (people who have their own experiences of accessing services for personality disorder and living with this diagnosis). </p>
<p>The PICT approach is to consult with the staff, individuals or teams, rather than working directly with the person using services. We offer consultation, training and support to community and inpatient settings, and to Primary Care Networks across Berkshire.</p>
<p>The post holder will bring lived experience and knowledge of personality disorder/difficulties to support the delivery of consultation and training, focusing on the upskilling of a wide range of professionals and teams, helping them to understand and work with compassion and confidence with people with difficulties that may be associated with the diagnosis of 'personality disorder'. </p>
<p>You will work closely and collaboratively with PICT colleagues to ensure a co-produced approach. You will have regular supervision and support in this role. </p>

  <p>Your main base will be at Erlegh House, Reading, whilst also having an option to work from home when appropriate.
