We currently have a Peripatetic Mental Health Practitioner vacancy for an exciting one year&nbsp;LA &nbsp;funded&nbsp;project for delivery of Journey of Hope (JoH) across multiple schools in Wandsworth.
&nbsp;
To apply for this role you must be willing to undertake training in delivering JOH and quality reviewing JOH interventions.
 

This&nbsp;one year project&nbsp;will deliver: JoH groupwork including:
 
- Assessment &amp; Formulation for all children in each group
-&nbsp;&nbsp;6&nbsp; groups&nbsp;per week: one group each morning and each afternoon: Monday-Friday&nbsp;(term time).&nbsp;Sessions:&nbsp;1 hour. Balance of time to be used for admin.
- Delivery method: Face to Face 
 


As a Mental Health Practitioner/Counsellor, your role will focus on&nbsp;providing Journey of Hope (JoH) group work to primary&nbsp;and&nbsp;secondary&nbsp;aged&nbsp;children&nbsp;and&nbsp;young people&nbsp;on a peripatetic basis to schools across the areas:
(1) Balham and Tooting (2) Putney and Roehampton.


You will effectively conduct full Assessment and Formulation processes for children and young people referred to the JoH group intervention service. This will include working with the school link to make use of and shape the universal and targeted interventions to support groups within the school community in accordance with the Clinical Delivery Model.


You will also plan and deliver universal and targeted group work in consultation with the school and the Line Manager/Clinical Supervisor and&nbsp;discuss&nbsp;potential referrals with school staff keeping the line manager and Clinical Supervisor informed

You'll ensure&nbsp;all clinical work is fully reviewed and outcomes evaluated, in Supervision in order to improve practice, establishing positive, active and effective relationships with the school and Place2Be management team and actively participating in staff meetings to share best practice and develop clinical thinking, knowledge and learning.
