Key Responsibilities:
Case Management &amp; Employee Support

 <li>Provide first-line advice to managers on performance, attendance, wellbeing, and ER issues.</li>
 <li>Manage sickness absence, probation reviews, and occupational health referrals.</li>
 <li>Conduct exit and stay interviews, and share insights with the People team.</li>

Policy &amp; Process

 <li>Maintain accurate records in HRIS (Cascade).</li>
 <li>Review and update people policies and toolkits to reflect best practice and organisational values.</li>
 <li>Ensure compliance with employment law and internal processes.</li>

Data &amp; Insights

 <li>Analyse HR data to identify trends and risks, and recommend improvements.</li>
 <li>Prepare reports on exit interviews, probation check-ins, and wellbeing initiatives.</li>

HR Support &amp;&nbsp;Management

 <li>Support redundancies, school exits, and TUPE transfers with accurate documentation and calculations.</li>
 <li>Provide guidance during consultations and organisational changes.</li>

Employee Experience &amp; Inclusion

 <li>Champion wellbeing and EDI initiatives, ensuring reasonable adjustments for colleagues with disabilities.</li>
 <li>Coordinate Employee Forum and EDI meetings, capturing actions and outcomes.</li>

Collaboration &amp; Training

 <li>Attend manager meetings and deliver training on people policies and practices.</li>
 <li>Work closely with People Partners and L&amp;D to improve manager capability.</li>

You will need:

 <li>Solid experience working in a People Advisor role, supporting colleagues, and following policies and procedures </li>
 <li>Good knowledge of UK employment Law</li>

 <li>Proven experience of building meaningful relationships and contributing to the development of a positive employee experiences.</li>

<h2>Job overview</h2>The Director of College Counseling at St. Johnsbury Academy Jeju provides visionary leadership and strategic oversight of the college counseling program, ensuring that all students and families are well-prepared to make informed decisions about post-secondary education. The Director promotes a culture of excellence, ethical guidance, and individualized support, while leading a dynamic team of counselors who serve students in grades 9–12. This position plays a vital role in advancing the School’s mission by preparing students to thrive at selective universities worldwide and by strengthening the school’s reputation among higher education institutions. Leadership and Program Oversight Lead the College Counseling Department in developing and implementing a comprehensive, student-centered college counseling program aligned with the mission and values of SJA Jeju. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate college counseling staff, ensuring consistency, professionalism, and quality of service. Develop strategic partnerships with universities and higher education organizations to enhance SJA Jeju’s global profile. Oversee all departmental operations, including scheduling, testing coordination, communications, and annual planning. Collaborate closely with the Head of School, High School Principal, and academic departments to align the college counseling program with curriculum and academic goals. Student and Family Counseling Provide direct counseling to an assigned caseload of high school students and families regarding college selection, application strategy, essays, interviews, testing, financial aid, and scholarships. Director of College Counseling

About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant who can take the reins to cover a period of maternity leave. You’ll be responsible for ensuring two directors are fully supported with their busy workload by handling their diary management, fulfilling reporting requirements, preparing meeting documents and taking minutes as well as delivering or supporting on key project work. This role has a specific focus on manipulating and presenting data for reports, therefore you will need to have excellent Excel skills and Power BI experience would be beneficial. You will be the first point of contact with a wide range of stakeholders including the executive team, trustees and senior executives from external organisations; you will therefore need to uphold high standards of professionalism, be detailed oriented and extremely organised.Strong administrative skills are essential, together with an enthusiastic and flexible approach to work, good interpersonal skills and a genuine passion and drive to make a difference to the children and young people we support, so that no child has to face mental health issues alone.We believe this role could be achieved across 4 or 5 days and welcome applications from people who are interested in working between 28-35 hours.
