  <p>This is a training role within the Improving Access to Psychological therapies for people with 'Severe Mental Illness' Programme (IAPT-SMI).Work in Cornwall's community mental health services in our Integrated Community Mental Health Team (ICMHT) teams to provide CBT interventions three days per week, whilst studying at the University of Exeter on the other two days each week with some block weeks of training. You will be able to attend all training with Exeter University, the majority will be delivered online.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a developmental Band 7-8a Clinical/Forensic Psychologist or experienced 8a Clinical/Forensic Psychologist developmental to join an established team of Clinical and Forensic Psychologists in the Secure Services at Brooklands Hospital. This is a full-time position primarily based within the autism low secure service, with some hours in the LD secure services.</p> <p>The secure service ethos is to help and support people who present considerable risk to others (as well as themselves) to return to a less restrictive environment and/or the community as soon as possible.</p> <p>The contribution of psychological services is highly valued within the teams and service management and is fully integrated within collaborative multi-disciplinary teams.   <p>The successful candidate will ideally have post qualification experience of working with forensic populations and/or experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism who present considerable risk to others. You will use your psychological skills and experience to provide assessments, individual and group therapies, team formulations, and reflective practice.</p> <p>You may also supervise others (qualified psychologists and non-psychologists) and be involved in training others, such as ward staff and multidisciplinary colleagues. Training others and contributing to and leading on service development projects and undertaking audit and research is an important part of this role.</p> <p>The psychology department at Brooklands is a well-established and supportive service and the successful applicant will receive support to further develop their skills and knowledge, through good quality supervision and training opportunities. The teamwork from a number of different therapeutic approaches including CBT, CAT, CFT, EMDR and Schema Therapy. <p>This is a new service and you will be working alongside other therapists delivering highly skilled psychological interventions at this difficult time in women's/families lives. We are looking to recruit a part time 30 hours per week Family Therapist to lead with Systemic interventions.</p>

  <p>Help for Psychology is a friendly, growing team. We carry out multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental assessments and provide psychoeducation and therapy for children and young people at our clinic in Norwich. We are a recognised provider of NHS Right to Choose services in Norfolk and Waveney. We have a team of employed and associate clinicians and this role has been developed specifically to support our existing senior clinicians (who also work part time) in managing our team of employed clinical psychologists, assistant psychologists and trainees from the UEA. There is also the opportunity to join the senior management team in shaping the future direction of the company. This would be an ideal role for an experienced clinical psychologist who is seeking a more flexible role where there is the opportunity to balance workload and professional development (we are happy to talk about flexible work hours and will even consider a term time only contract).   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The role will provide a flexible mix of clinical work (both assessment and therapy), supervision and management and the opportunity to be part of the wider senior management team shaping and developing the future direction of the company. Many of our cases are complex and we need someone with a good understanding of autism, ADHD and joint presentations, who also brings substantial knowledge of trauma, attachment difficulties, and mental health challenges. From a therapeutic point of view, we currently offer psychoeducation, adapted CBT, EMDR, ACT, Compassion Focused and CAT informed therapy packages, and would be happy to embrace new ideas and support additional training.</p><p>We need strong supervision skills and would support the successful applicant to pursue management training, or coaching, if this was required.</p><p>There would also be the opportunity to support workforce planning and to contribute strategically.</p>

The successful candidate will be required to work mainly 9-5 Monday to Friday however there is an expectation that there is flexibility to cover the out of hours shifts when required.</p> <p>The post holder will need to be able to travel around the county, to offer interventions to patients and carers. The area is quite rural with limited public transport, so access to transport is essential.</p>

  <ul>  <li>Working within the treatment function of the AMHT you will co-ordinate the care for patients with severe and enduring mental health diagnosis.</li>  <li>You will work autonomously, with a caseload of patients with whom you will engage and offer the recommended treatment and support.</li>  <li>You will have experience of providing community mental health care and able to assess and plan treatment with service users. You will also be able to assess and manage risk, including use of Safeguarding processes.</li>  <li>There are opportunities for team working and facilitating groups such as MBT/CBT based interventions.   <p>The role will help to oversee the delivery of the clinical work undertaken by the Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) within the team, both those in training and those who are already qualified, ensuring that Low Intensity CBT interventions are used effectively to support children and young people's mental wellbeing.   <p>The community transformation programme in Leeds is inviting applications for a full time, permanent, Clinical Associate Psychologist. Community mental health services have recently undergone transformation to support the national priority of increasing access to psychologically informed care and reducing inequality.</p> <p>We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic Clinical Associate Psychologist with a can-do attitude, to become part of the therapy team in Working Age Adult Community Services with opportunities to work across Primary, Secondary &amp; Specialist services. The role will be varied with a strong emphasis on group work models including DBT, CNT &amp; CFT. Previous knowledge of and or experience of facilitating groups will be an advantage.
