<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p><strong>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent, Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to work in the Community Children and Young People's Service (CYPS) in the Northumberland team.</strong> </p>
<p>We welcome applicants who have experience working with children and young people although this is not essential. It is essential that applicants are registered as a Speech and Language Therapist and have previous experience working within a mental health, learning disability or neurodevelopmental setting and/or team. We are interested in appointing a dedicated and committed individual who can demonstrate their ability to engage and work collaboratively with others/partner agencies and understand complex systems in order to support effective pathways.</p>
<p>CYPS provide care, treatment and assessment for young people with complex, moderate to severe needs over the whole of Northumberland. </p>
<p>The multi-disciplinary team comprises a highly skilled and experienced workforce of consultant psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychotherapists, social workers, art therapists and support workers. The team are dedicated, compassionate and always put young people and their families at the centre of everything they do.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will provide specialist SALT assessment, intervention and recommendations for children and young people accessing these services. You will work as an integral member of the CYPS MDT and support the ongoing development of the SALT provision in the service.</p>
<p>You should have qualifications and experience relevant in this clinical field and work well as part of a close team and be able to work independently. You will liaise closely with fellow professionals to address communication difficulties as part of a holistic, service user centred service and be confident in providing high quality, evidence-based assessments and interventions and possess excellent communication and organisational skills as well as have the ability to work independently.</p>
<p>The post will be based at St Georges Park Hospital in Morpeth, Northumberland. You will be required to travel to other sites across the Trust as part of the role.</p>

  <p>Here in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland (LLR), we are innovatively transforming ways of working with people with relational and emotional difficulties often described diagnostically as Personality Disorder.</p><p>As part of this, we are keen for another Principal Psychologist to join us in our secondary care psychologically-led dedicated provisionas a Clinical Lead.

The service has over 30 staff, including Psychologists, a Medical Psychotherapist, Peer Support Workers, and Mental Health Practitioners. We offer a range of psychological and psychologically-informed approaches within the tradition of trauma-informed care, including Mentalization-Based Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, and a structured clinical management approach.</p><p>We would be very keen to hear from applicants with an interest and training in any of these approaches.   <p><strong>Band 7 Counselling/Clinical Psychologist/ Psychotherapist/ Systemic and Family Therapist: Eating Disorder Therapist</strong> </p><p>This is an exciting opportunity for a Eating Disorder Therapist to join our team. The post holder will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of eating disorder presentations as well as co-morbid mental health conditions to allow for the provision of a holistic care package to the young person. The ideal candidate communicates well, enjoys working with individuals, families and groups and will bring enthusiasm and commitment to the role.</p> <p>They will complete specialist eating disorder assessments and deliver evidence based and NICE concordant interventions for eating disorders to children and young people and their families within our early intervention and specialist therapy pathways. These interventions may be delivered in clinic, community and home settings; to individuals or groups work, holistically with the multi-disciplinary team to support young people and their families with eating disorders and contribute to increasing awareness of the presentation and prevalence of eating disorders. To develop and deliver our early intervention support pathway, including consultation, psycho education, self-help materials working closely with our assistant psychologist.</p> <p>We are looking for a someone, who combines experience with working with young people and families with a special interest in eating disorders.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To complete specialist eating disorder assessments within the Community Eating Disorder Service for Children &amp; Young People (CEDS-CYP).</p>
<p>To act as the duty clinician on the rota of duty clinicians managing referrals and providing a rapid response to urgent clinical situations. </p>
<p>To be involved in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of children and young people with eating disorders in the community, to liaise closely with other health care professionals to ensure a consistent approach.</p>
<p>To provide specialist therapeutic interventions as part of individualised treatment plans based on psychotherapeutic principles which are grounded in evidence based practice and NICE - concordant interventions for eating disorders.</p>
<p>To develop and deliver our early intervention support pathway, including consultation, psychoeducation, self-help materials working closely with our assistant psychologist.</p>
<p>Care coordinate a substantial caseload of assessment, treatment and consultation work, identifying priorities of action in complex circumstances.</p>
<p>To utilise specialist skills in managing and communicating with patients, their families, carers and other agencies in situations that are sensitive, highly complex and may be emotionally distressing.</p>
<p>To evaluate and monitor clinical risk which will include physical and psychiatric risk for appropriate interventions to jointly manage risk and to inform other agencies as appropriate.</p>

  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This is an exciting new job role which will afford you the opportunity to offer specialist systemic input within a team, and help us enhance our clinical support and practice to the community that we serve. You will be a valued part of the multi-disciplinary team working within the county-wide Suffolk Adult Eating Disorders Service with bases in Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds.</p>
<p>As the successful candidate you will be directly systemic interventions for individuals, carers and families, as well as providing systemic consultation to the wider care system, including acute hospital trusts and other secondary care mental health services. You will be supported to fulfil this specialist role through training and regular clinical and management supervision. We are eager for you to play a key part in the transformation and development of our service.</p>

Systemic Family Therapist

  <p>This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychological Therapist or Counsellor to join NHS Somerset Talking Therapies Service for Depression and Anxiety, working within either our South Somerset Team (Yeovil/Chard) or our Taunton Team.</p><p>NHS Somerset Talking Therapies is a high-performing service with one of the best recovery rates in the country. We have excellent links with the voluntary sector and secondary care through the Open Mental Health Somerset initiative. As part of our multi-professional workforce in primary care, you will support adults experiencing depression, anxiety and long-term health conditions, offering therapy both face-to-face and via video link. Flexible working opportunities are available.</p><p>Applicants who do not yet hold a Talking Therapies-compliant qualification in Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) or Person Centre Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE CfD) will be considered for a Band 6 recruit-to-train position, with full training provided.</p>
