  <p>Dorset Mental Health Support Teams in Schools (MHSTs) are seeking a Trainee Senior Wellbeing Practitioner/Trainee Supervisor (Band 6) for our team based in the North &amp; East Dorset area. You will be required to attend Exeter University to complete the training for this post from January 2025 on a part time basis over two years.</p> <p>The Mental Health Support Teams work with children and young people (and their families) who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health needs, within education settings.</p> <p>We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior wellbeing and supervising practitioner who is passionate about children's mental health.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The role will help to oversee the delivery of the clinical work undertaken by the Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) within the team, both those in training and those who are already qualified, ensuring that Low Intensity CBT interventions are used effectively to support children and young people's mental wellbeing. You will provide clinical supervision and leadership to more junior colleagues and will be involved with developing clinical operational processes. The team also works with education settings to help them to implement a whole school approach to good emotional wellbeing. This can include for example consultation, training and small and large group work to promote good emotional health for all. </p> <p>You will also be expected to hold a clinical caseload and to use your newly learnt knowledge to deliver short term evidence based interventions to children, families and young people whose needs are more complex in nature.</p> <p><strong>Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.   <p>Here in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland (LLR), we are innovatively transforming ways of working with people with relational and emotional difficulties often described diagnostically as Personality Disorder.</p><p>As part of this, we are keen for another Principal Psychologist to join us in our secondary care psychologically-led dedicated provisionas a Clinical Lead.

The service has over 30 staff, including Psychologists, a Medical Psychotherapist, Peer Support Workers, and Mental Health Practitioners. We offer a range of psychological and psychologically-informed approaches within the tradition of trauma-informed care, including Mentalization-Based Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, and a structured clinical management approach.</p><p>We would be very keen to hear from applicants with an interest and training in any of these approaches. <h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>Providing a primary care mental health service, to those adults in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin (STW). The post-holder will work as a member of a locality team within the (STW) Psychological Therapies Service, providing effective evidence-based therapies.</p>
<p>The post holder will be part of an NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT) service and will provide high intensity interventions using IAPT approved psychotherapeutic modalities. These may include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), Couples Therapy for Depression (CTfD), and Behavioural Couples Therapy (BCT) as recommended by NICE. The post holder will work with clients who have a range of difficulties including depression and anxiety disorders for which the IAPT modality is demonstrated to be clinically effective.</p>
<p>The service offers a stepped care model to a range of mental health issues using evidenced based, NICE approved approaches. The post-holder will work within the IAPT service providing high intensity interventions, providing a high intensity service to clients with a range of complex problems. The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities and equality of access to treatment.</p>

High Intensity Therapist - Cognitive Behavioural Therapist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>Are you an experienced and motivated Band 5 or Band 6 Occupational Therapist who wants to develop their skills and experience within a unique Therapy service working with the Community Mental Health Team? We'd love for you to join us in our Community Therapy Service in Great Yarmouth.</p> <p>The wider Community Therapy Service covers Great Yarmouth and Waveney, and although the base for this position would be Northgate Hospital in Great Yarmouth, there is an expectation that the postholder would offer clinical and leadership support to the Waveney side of the team, based at Victoria House in Lowestoft, if required. Both the Great Yarmouth and Waveney CTS is overseen by an Occupational Therapy Lead, and is made up of Registered Occupational Therapists, Peer Support workers, Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioners and an Art Psychotherapist. We work closely with our Nursing, MHP and Psychology colleagues in the wider CMHT to provide a holistic assessment and treatment service for Service Users in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The team is committed to delivering a range of recovery-focussed Occupational Therapy interventions. This is a protected Occupational Therapy role and the successful post holder will not work as a generic MHP care coordinator/lead care professional.</p> <p>The post-holder will;</p> <ul>  <li>Work with the Community Therapy Service and wider CMHT team to deliver Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions (1:1 and group), prioritising clinical needs and evaluating treatment to measure progress and ensure clinical effectiveness. </li>  <li>Ensure that clinical practice is person-centred, promoting the direct involvement of Service Users and carers in the development of treatment planning. </li>  <li>Monitor and maintain standards of Confidentiality, Health and Safety and Governance in accordance with local and Trust-wide Policies and procedures</li>  <li>Provide support and guidance, line management supervision and clinical supervision to less senior members of staff</li> </ul> <p>You will participate in monthly team business and Governance meetings, deputising for the OT Lead where required. Chy is a residential rehabilitation unit in Truro, providing drug, alcohol and mental health treatment services to some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society. We have an 18-bed main property and a further 8 beds in a block of flats on the grounds that are used as 'move on' accommodation for those with more specific therapeutic needs. Chy welcomes people from all over the UK who wish to heal, grow and make changes to their lives. Many of the people who come to us have experienced multiple traumas and are living with acute mental health support needs. This is an exciting time to join the team following a year of developments and improvements to the services offered.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working or volunteering with substance misuse clients ideally in a residential setting.

About the Role

Chy is a residential rehabilitation unit in Truro, providing drug, alcohol and mental health treatment services to some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society. We have an 18-bed main property and a further 8 beds in a block of flats on the grounds that are used as 'move on' accommodation for those with more specific therapeutic needs. Chy welcomes people from all over the UK who wish to heal, grow and make changes to their lives. Many of the people who come to us have experienced multiple traumas and are living with acute mental health support needs. This is an exciting time to join the team following a year of developments and improvements to the services offered.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working or volunteering with substance misuse clients ideally in a residential setting.
