We are currently seeking a Sports Coach to join this busy school based in Aston. This role is ideal for any graduates from a sports related degree or coaches with significant experience working with children or young adults. The successful applicant will be supporting pupils from Year 7 through to GCSE level. Working alongside experienced PE Teachers and delivering pre-planned lesson content. This role is ideal for anyone who may be considering teacher training options, allowing you to gain first hand classroom-based experience before committing to a route of study. But is also a fantastic change of pace for any experienced coaches looking for a new challenge. The successful applicant will be joining the team from April 2025, with an expected salary range of 100- 130 per day, depending on experience level. The school is located in Aston, within close proximity to Sandwell, Sutton Coldfield, and Birmingham. Applicants will receive training through our Smile Education Graduate Academy, including safeguarding training and access to multiple online training courses. What to expect from applicants? We would like applicants to be either a recent graduate from a sport based route of study, graduating from 2023 onwards. Or be an experienced coach with a significant work history based around supporting children or young adults. What You ll Be Doing: Response is looking for an enthusiastic, caring person to join their dedicated team at Project 12. The Project 12 team focus on supporting residents through person-centred planning and individual goals to aid recovery. The service covers two shared houses and staff provide client support from 8am to 4pm and weekend morning medication. The service aims to create a comfortable, safe and pleasant environment while helping residents work towards more independent living in the future. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centred support to residents with serious mental illness including adults who have a primary diagnosis of a psychotic illness often with one or more coexisting conditions such physical health issues, neurodiversity, drugs &amp; alcohol use and cognitive impairment. Support workers work with residents to enable them to achieve and sustain a rewarding life in the community. Working proactively with residents to promote independence, well-being and ability to manage their own mental health. Staff are responsible for ensuring safety is always maintained though good housing management, risk assessment and health &amp; safety practice. Supporting people to maintain tenancies, look after their homes and develop daily living skills.
