    <p></p><p>For more information on the Job Description and Responsibilities please click the link below.</p><p><strong>More detail about the role</strong></p><p>The post holder will be part of the children and young peoples therapy service based at the Devon and Cornwall sexual assault referral centre (SARC) delivering evidence-based trauma therapy to young people aged 8-17, who are referred to SARC following sexual abuse or assault.</p><p>Professionally they will work in a non-judgemental and empathetic service and within the ethical framework of their professional / registering body (e.g. HPCP; BACP; UKCP, BABCP)</p><p>The purpose of this post is to add to the provision of evidence-based therapies for children and young people who have been sexually abused and/or assaulted, either recently or historically.</p><p>The post holder will have extensive clinical knowledge of highly complex psychotherapy and sexual trauma counselling and have significant input into the delivery of specialist counselling services delivered to children and young people.</p><p>This requires the ability to assess for post-traumatic stress disorder and discuss the implications of this and the NICE guidelines recommended treatment for PTSD (including following sexual trauma) with children, young people and their parents/ carers.</p><p>The post holder will able to implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and young people, including trauma-focused CBT, supported by the service lead.</p><p>The post holder will carry a clinical caseload and provide psychological therapies / counselling to meet client needs, taking into account the resources available within the service.</p><p>Where necessary, the post holder will be able to demonstrate the ability to be creative, innovative and adaptable in the delivery of evidence-based therapies in order to best meet the individual need of the young person, whilst maintaining fidelity to the therapeutic model.</p><p>Some experience in delivering therapy to neuro-diverse children and young people and their parents/carers is also desirable.</p><p>The post holder will need experience in providing time-limited therapy for clients with a wide range of difficulties e.g. trauma and relationship issues.</p><p>The post holder will prioritise, assess, plan evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of highly complex care to an agreed and expected professional standard and will work closely with the multidisciplinary team.</p><p>The post holder will receive regular professional management and clinical supervision in accordance with Trust policy and professional practice guidelines as set out by their professional body. Upping Ward is our 15 bed intensive Support Service for women with a diagnosis of personality disorder and complex mental health needs. The service pathway provides a robust programme of care for women with challenging high risk behaviour who experience difficulties with engagement with therapeutic programmes. We aim to meet the needs of these women, who may have had previous inappropriate placements, in a less restrictive setting.</p>

  <p>Cygnet Hospital Beckton is a is a gender specific hospital for women with complex mental health needs.
Situated in the East End of London, the hospital has four different specialist wards including PICU, acute admissions and personality disorder services.
We accept emergency and planned, pre-assessed admissions. Our aim is to support individual service user recovery and integration back into the community, as quickly as possible. We have a multi-disciplinary team of specialists and offer a very broad range of therapies.</p>

This is a post within an established Mental Health Support Team in Luton. Your role will help to develop and deliver a wide range of interventions, projects and system changes, with the aim of the whole school and whole community approaches supporting young people's mental health. In addition to providing comprehensive consultation, assessment, risk management and interventions for young people experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties in schools, the post-holder will also clinically supervise colleagues. We welcome applicants who have experience of working or living in Central Bedfordshire or Luton.</p> <p>There is a national focus on increasing the reach of Mental Health Support Teams, with the aim of improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in the community. The recently published NHS 10 Year Plan has an ambition to increase MHSTs' coverage to all schools by 2030. There is a specific focus on developing more access to help and aiding and improving the general culture of emotional support within all primary and secondary schools, including special educational provisions and PRUs. The vacancy is open to an existing Band 8A psychologist or a Band 7psychologist wishing to progress in their career. We will also consider offering a preceptorship option for a newly or recently qualified clinical or counselling psychologist who may not yet meet the essential criteria; to progress from a band 7 into the band 8a position. </p> <p>The post offers many excitingdevelopmental and creative opportunities.</p> <p>The post holder will have a key role in providing psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to service users, their families, carers, and staff teams. This may be through direct therapeutic support using various adapted psychological approaches or indirect work with a service user's support system using psychologically informed thinking.</p> <p>An additional element to this role is offering neuropsychological assessments to service users, alongside reflective practice, consultation, and supervision. <p>Access Dental is looking to recruit Operational Assistants in our Out of Hours emergency Dental Clinic.</p>
<p>Operational Assistants will support the service by greeting patients and taking payments, over Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays. Shifts typically run 08:30 - 16:30, you would be required to cover shifts shifts as part of a regular working patten over a 12-week rolling rota. There will also be an opportunity for you to pick up additional hours covering colleagues leave.</p>
