  <p>We're seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (Band 8a, 1.0 WTE) to help shape and deliver psychologically-informed care in our 24/7 recovery house service--a short-stay alternative to hospital admission for adults experiencing acute mental health distress.Working flexibly within a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide trauma-informed assessments, brief interventions, and psychological leadership in a recovery-focused, inclusive environment that centres lived experience and cultural safety.</p> <p>Recovery House (RH)is a new and innovative service we are launching that meets an important need for people(18+)experiencing poor mental health. The RH will provide those in crisis with a safe, secure and welcoming environment to support the de-escalation of crisis. The House will be open to new and existing BSMHFT service users and will provide a homely environment, allowing people to retain independence, whilst receiving person centred and appropriate care.</p> <p>The service which is part of the Trust's Urgent Care pathway is a partnership with Birmingham Mind and builds on the range of strong collaborations we have with the voluntary sector.</p> <p>The RH will serve as a base for community integration, allowing service users to connect with local communities and provision, as well as their family/carers.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Tasks include:</p> <p>o Provide psychological formulations and short-term interventions (CBT, trauma-informed approaches)</p> <p>o Supervise and develop a Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioner, colleagues in the team and support workers</p> <p>o Support the team in crisis planning, reflective practice, and risk formulation</p> <p>o Embed culturally responsive and trauma-informed care across the service</p> <p>o Liaise with NHS and community services to support safe transitions</p> <p>You will also input one day a week into our Home Treatment service.   <p>This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to work in the A &amp; E of Mental Health. You will be working in a very dynamic environment, which will provide you with many opportunities to learn and develop your therapeutic and systemic skills.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

Based in Hemel Hempstead, the school meets the needs of pupils with special educational needs including ADHD, autism, speech, language &amp; communication difficulties and social &amp; emotional difficulties. <p><strong>Main duties and responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>To support organisational change within a district to enhance the learning and development of children and young people through the application of applied psychology.</li><li>To actively promote inclusion through provision of a consultation based educational psychology service to schools and other agencies.</li><li>To undertake direct work with schools as required.</li><li>To provide statutory advice in line with the regulations set out in the 2014 Children and Families Act and the SEND Code of Practice according to relevant timescales. This may include appropriate contributions and presentations to support tribunal procedures.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and experience required</strong></p><ul><li>Qualified status approved by the British Psychological Society (BPS) in Educational and Child Psychology or equivalent, including Graduate Basis for Registration and recognised postgraduate qualification in Educational and Child Psychology or equivalent. All appointees will be required to be registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC).</li><li>The qualifications detailed above must be met and have either previous experience as an educational psychologist or be completing a recognised postgraduate qualification in Educational and Child Psychology or equivalent in order to qualify as an educational psychologist and gain registration with the HCPC.</li></ul><p>Flexible in terms of how many assessments Locum Educational Psychologists can undertake monthly.
