<p><strong>We have a new opportunity for a part time Clinical Psychologist to join our CAMHS Eating Disorders Team, where you will have the opportunity to use and develop your specialist skills.</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a part-time Clinical Psychologist (22.5 hours) to join our award-winning team, recently recognised with the Oxford Health 2024 Flexible Team Award. We invest strongly in staff development, offering training, supervision and specialist interest groups to support skills in interventions such as FT-AN, CBT (including CBT-E) and NET.</p>
<p>As a senior team member, you will provide supervision, consultation and leadership, with extensive opportunities for further professional development in these areas.</p>
<p>You will work within our Specialist Eating Disorders Team, part of a CAMHS service alongside a Consultant Psychologist, Band 7 Psychologist, Clinical Associate Psychologists, Trainee Psychologists, CBT Trainees/Therapists and Children's Wellbeing Practitioners.</p>
<p>Staff wellbeing is central to our service. We are a highly supportive team, and managers work with you to ensure manageable caseloads and to help you develop special interests.</p>
<p><em>This position is also open to individuals on a band 7 development pathway. You will need post qualification experience in CAMHS or Eating Disorder service. Unfortunately we cannot accept applications from newly qualified applicants.</em></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>

<li>Work within a multidisciplinary team including Psychologists, Family Therapists, Psychotherapists, CWPs, Psychiatrists, Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists.</li>
<li>Access a range of specialist clinics (e.g., LD, NDC, FT, ED) with opportunities for shared learning and expertise.</li>
<li>Deliver high-quality specialist clinical psychology within the CAMHS Eating Disorder Service.</li>
<li>Provide assessment, formulation, risk assessment and evidence-based care plans for children and young people with eating disorders and complex mental health needs.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with partner agencies, including Salisbury District Hospital</li>

<p>We have a strong psychology network and professional leadership across the 5 CAMHS teams in BSW (Bath and Northeast Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire) and strong links with the Doctoral Training course at Bath University.</p>

Clinical Psychologist -Eating Disorders

  <p>NHS Talking Therapies Hampshire (NHSTTH) is an exciting, transformative and expanding psychological therapies service. We are looking to recruit highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate High Intensity Psychological Therapists. The postholders will join our Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) team providing in-person CBT to patients aged 16+ who present with a range of complex anxiety and depression related problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective.</p><p>At NHSTTH, service users are at the heart of what we do. We are a passionate and supportive team, dedicated to improving mental health in our local communities.   <p>Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service</p><p>Assess patient suitability for psychological interventions via the phone, video and in-person</p><p>Offer High Intensity treatment in individual and group format</p><p>Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to NHS Talking Therapies Hampshire referral protocols, and refer unsuitable patients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary and set out in the SOP.</p><p>Conduct risk assessments, prepare risk management plans and initiate appropriate action where indicated (including referrals to relevant secondary care services and child and adult safeguarding services)</p><p>Ensure that people under your care are cared for appropriately under the stepped care framework as currently in use within the service.</p>

  <p>Based on the South coast, you will be part of a vital new team created to deliver improved community-based care for people who have difficulties which could relate to a diagnosis of personality disorder or complex emotional needs.</p><p>As a Senior Peer Support Worker your expert use of your own lived experience will be essential in creating an effective service.       <p>STUDENTS DUE TO QUALIFY IN 2026 ARE WELCOME TO APPLY</p> <p>We are looking for a friendly, dynamic and forward-thinking radiographer to join our radiotherapy team. You will have excellent communication and teamworking skills and be ready to help run a busy unit in a friendly, modern radiotherapy department.</p> <p>The role involves the treatment of the radiotherapy patients on one of our new linear accelerators at our main site at the General. There is also the expectation to rotate through our satellite centre in Basingstoke but travel time and costs will be reimbursed. Other areas of rotational work include pre-treatment, DXR and in our new Brachytherapy suite.A wealth of additional opportunities are available in the following areas; TBI and SABR providing safe, state-of-the-art patient centred care for our patients. We are also a regional sarcoma centre, a tertiary referral centre for Neuro-oncology (delivering SRS/T) and our main site is also the only centre in the country delivering Intra operative Radiotherapy (IOERT) for Pancreatic and GI tumours.We are the first centre in the UK to have Exactrac Dynamic in clinical use on 3 of our 7 Linacs providing sub-millimetre correction through stereoscopic imaging with 6 degrees of freedom correction. Our other linacs and our 3 CTs (1 with 4DCT acquisition) have Align RT allowing thermal and surface guided set up and tracking.</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>At University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, we have a large and very friendly team of over 80 radiographers and Advanced Practitioners delivering high quality radiotherapy treatment to over 3500 cancer patients each year.</p> <p>The normal department working hours include 7.5 hour shifts between the hours of 0700-2000 (Monday-Friday). We also provide on call services for MSCC patients during the weekend.</p> <p>Our department has a commitment to continuing professional development and evidence-based practice through the provision of regular in-house training courses, access to external courses as well as regular supervision sessions, peer-support meetings and staff appraisal.</p> <p>WHAT YOULL DO To deliver radiotherapy treatment using available equipment, under the supervision of Band 6 Radiographers To calculate and record radiotherapy treatments accurately and maintain written records To be responsible for the well-being and care of patients during their radiotherapy To maintain all treatment records to department standards</p> <p>WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR</p> <p> Enthusiastic individuals with a Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or Diploma of College of Radiographers Candidate should have a State Registration with the HCPC Excellent written and verbal English language skills Experience of a wide variety of Radiotherapy techniques &amp; equipment Ability to communicate with wide range of people Ability to work as a team member Ability to work under own initiative Be able to take instruction / directions and work within the confines of the role</p> <p>Specific to this role we are open to discussing flexibility in the hours that you work.
