  <p>We are seeking an experienced and dynamic psychologist to work across two innovative services in Wiltshire. This role offers the chance to develop your leadership skills by supporting a growing brief psychological intervention service as well as working within a busy MDT providing assessment, formulation, and brief interventions for a wide range of mental health needs.</p> <p><strong>The Primary Care Complex Emotional Needs Service</strong> (PC CEN) delivers brief psychological support for individuals with emotional and relational difficulties, associated with personality disorder.With additional investment the service will expand to also offer intervention to people with complex PTSD who may fall between the gap between primary and secondary MH services.</p> <p><strong>The Primary Care Liaison Service (PCLS) </strong>provides mental health triage, assessment, brief interventions, advice, and signposting for diverse mental health issues.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This role operates across both the PC CEN Service and the Primary Care Liaison Service (PCLS), covering South Wiltshire. While your formal line management will sit within the PC CEN Service, you will also maintain close links with the Wiltshire Psychological Therapies Service (PTS).</p>
<p>As the PC CEN Psychologist, you will lead the locality team through a period of service expansion. You will be responsible for supervising therapists and Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWPs), ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence-based interventions for individuals with complex emotional needs and complex PTSD.</p>
<p>In your role within PCLS, you will work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide psychological assessments, formulations, brief interventions, and appropriate signposting for a broad spectrum of mental health presentations.</p>

  <p>Working as part of our multi-disciplinary team, which consists of Psychologists, Family therapists, Psychotherapists, Children's Wellbeing Practitioners, Psychiatrists, Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists, and in a team where a number of specialist clinics are offered eg LD, NDC, FT, ED, you will find plenty of opportunities to learn from colleagues and share expertise.</p> <p>On a day-to-day basis, you will be working within the CAMHS Eating Disorder Service ensuring the systemic provision of a high-quality specialist clinical psychology service to clients with eating disorders and complex mental health problems including severe, enduring and multiple disorders. You undertaking mental health assessments, formulating, risk assessing and devising evidence-based care plans for children and young people (CYP). <p>You will be training within a friendly team of dedicated and hardworking Sonographers within the Ultrasound Department at Isle of Wight NHS Trust.</p>
<p>Our department is passionate at providing an effective and high quality service. We use state of the art ultrasound equipment currently all Canon Aplio i600 units. We have 3 dedicated ultrasound rooms and also undertake some portable scanning for inpatients using GE Venue ultrasound unit.</p>
<p>We provide ultrasound services for patients from primary care and acute secondary care and have a number of Sonographer led services including ?DVT and TIA.</p>
<p>The post holder is required to hold, or be able to apply for HCPC, NMC or GMC registration as a condition of employment.</p>
