<p>Join Brighton and Hove Clinic, which is a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 12 up to 18 years, and you will be providing evidence-based and focused treatment programmes designed for the individual needs of each young person.</p>
<p>You will be registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Young People Psychiatry with a license to practice with experience of CYPMHS Eating Disorders and leading multidisciplinary teams.</p>

  <p>This is an exciting opportunity for clinicians, particularly those with existing core qualification such as: nursing, social work, occupational therapy to join one of our well-established CAMHS teams in Sussex.</p> <p>This trainee Band 6 systemic family practice (SFP) post will be based in East Sussex, including Brighton and Hove specialist community CAMHS.</p> <p>Your week will consist of attending the one-year training course and delivering clinical work in the team to children, young people and their families. You will be well supported by an experienced family &amp; systemic psychotherapist and a team of skilled clinicians. While building experience and working towards your course requirements, you will be delivering systemic family interventions for anxiety, depression, self harm and conduct disorders within the CAMHS pathway model of delivery including being part of a family psychotherapy context with a reflecting team intervention and providing a specific intervention through the lens of the single session family consultation framework.</p> <p>All students begin with learning the basic systemic skills in the first module of the course which will introduce a range of systemic approaches for working with families from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds and where you will learn a range of systemic techniques and interventions. You will continue on to modules focusing on Depression and Self Harm and Conduct Disorder.</p>

As an integral and highly valued member of our multi-disciplinary team, the Peer Support Worker will provide formalised peer support and practical assistance to service users, empowering them to regain control over their lives and their own unique recovery process.Working collaboratively alongside service users, the Peer Support Worker builds on a person's ability, strengths and their links to social and community services. In the role you will work in partnership with multiple agencies in the community. Peer Support Workers engage with mental health service users to show empathy, share experience, inspire hope and promote recovery with the aim of assisting service users to gain and maintain independence in the community. The Peer Support Worker will assist service users in raising aspirations and developing personal goals, co-produce and co-facilitate groups (where possible) and increasing individual occupational performance and participation.</p>

  <p>This small, friendly, multi-disciplinary team is based at the Department of Psychiatry in Eastbourne.</p>
<p>You will be supported by the team leader and the wider MDT. You will be provided with individual clinical supervision, and opportunities to link with other Peer Support Workers and other services for peer support and development.</p>
<p>As a service we offer a real commitment to support your continuing professional development through a variety of internal and external training opportunities and university accredited courses.</p>

<p>Counsellors&nbsp;on Placement provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in Place2Be partner schools. As an organisation that has adopted the BACP ethical framework of good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, counsellors working within the organisation are dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of the children they work with.</p>

    <li>Place2Be provides a high level of support to counsellors on placement through regular supervision, tailored training workshops and offers a well-recognised clinical placement*.</li>
    <li>We provide a comprehensive induction programme and clinical supervision is undertaken at the end of each day.</li>
    <li>We need you to be available for a minimum of one day per week to work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling.</li>
    <li>Placements are term time only and run for one academic year. There are opportunities for you to stay with us beyond one year.</li>
    <li>You will have the opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year which are recognised as continuing professional development time.</li>
    <li>Sessions spent with children are accepted as clinical hours towards professional accreditation, and are recognised by the BACP and UKCP.</li>
    <li>A placement is an excellent stepping stone into a job opportunity and career with Place2Be, over&nbsp;⅔&nbsp;of our clinical staff were once Counsellors on Placement.</li>

<p>All clinical hours gained on placement can be used towards accreditation with a body such as BACP and UKCP. If your course does not accept child hours but you would like to gain counselling experience of working with Children and Young People, you can still apply for a Place2Be placement as a second placement.</p>
