BABCP accreditation is required for Band 7 positions.</p> <p>Our team has strong links to universities and researchers. A key advantage of working in secondary care is the chance to work alongside and learn from highly specialist nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists and psychotherapists (with trainings in systemic, DBT, creative, analytic and CBT). Within Sussex CAMHS we have a strong psychology and CBT team. You will be well-supported with training and CPD, and opportunities for career development.</p> <p>We would expect the therapist to be conversant with IAPT principles, and practiced in using ROMS and disorder specific outcome measures as part of evaluation and of their work, as well as part of ongoing team audit. It would also be helpful if the therapist has demonstrated experience of offering training and consultation to other professionals within and outside the team as necessary. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>As a member of the CAMHS team, you would participate in the core multi-disciplinary assessment and intervention work of the team, and engage in multi-agency liaison work as necessary. You would also be required to participate in the supervision, training and the overall governance requirements of SPFT CAMHS.</p> <p>We operate a pathways model and you would hold some clinical lead responsibilities within these, including decision-making around treatment options, and supervision of low intensity CBT practitioners and trainees. You would also play a lead role in our group interventions.</p> <p>You'd part of a very busy but lively and welcoming CAMHS team, which offers a wide range of individual, group and systemic interventions, and is involved in a number of innovative evaluation and research projects and service developments. As such, you would be encouraged to develop your skills, ideas and interests to further your expertise and that of the team, in accordance with service needs.</p>

They will have assessment, intervention and formulation skills in a range of psychological models, including CBT and attachment-based models. The post holder will be expected to take a clinical leadership roleand to have supervisory experience. They will be responsible for the supervision of Assistant Psychologists, Clinical Trainees and Psychology Graduate Volunteers and will support psychological practice within the wider team through consultation, supervision, formulation and training. They will utilise research skills for audit and research within the area and contribute to service improvement and development.</p> <p>There will be opportunities to lead on pathway developments as part of the transformation developing the psychological offer and supporting the MDT in psychological thinking. <p>Counsellors&nbsp;on Placement provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in Place2Be partner schools. As an organisation that has adopted the BACP ethical framework of good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, counsellors working within the organisation are dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of the children they work with.</p>

    <li>Place2Be provides a high level of support to counsellors on placement through regular supervision, tailored training workshops and offers a well-recognised clinical placement*.</li>
    <li>We provide a comprehensive induction programme and clinical supervision is undertaken at the end of each day.</li>
    <li>We need you to be available for a minimum of one day per week to work in a therapeutic capacity with up to 3 children offering one-to-one counselling.</li>
    <li>Placements are term time only and run for one academic year. There are opportunities for you to stay with us beyond one year.</li>
    <li>You will have the opportunity to attend up to six optional workshops throughout the year which are recognised as continuing professional development time.</li>

<p>Are you an experienced CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist looking for either a&nbsp;full time or part time opportunity&nbsp;where you will be part of a supportive and experienced team providing Tier 4 inpatient services to young people with eating disorders?&nbsp;</p>
<p>Join Brighton and Hove Clinic, which is a&nbsp;a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 12 up to 18 years, and you will be providing evidence-based and focused treatment programmes designed for the individual needs of each young person.</p>
<p>You will be registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a license to practice with experience of CAMHS Eating Disorders and leading multidisciplinary teams.</p>

<strong>As a Eating Disorder Psychiatrist, you will:&nbsp;</strong></p>

    <li>Manage a case load as RC of the ward.</li>
    <li>Participate in the assessment and management of children and young people referred to the Service.&nbsp;</li>
    <li>Assess physical health and document finding within Carenotes and weekly ICR meetings.</li>
    <li>Ensure completion of professional reports as per timeline such as ICRs/CPA/Tribunals.</li>
    <li>Act as Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act.&nbsp;</li>
    <li>Attend CETRs when needed.</li>
    <li>Provide leadership, supervision, reflection, and risk management to the key workers on the team.</li>
    <li>Participation in the CAMHS Consultant on-call rota.&nbsp;</li>
    <li>Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists</li>
    <li>Uphold the principles of Clinical Governance and adhere to the organisation’s clinical governance requirements.</li>
    <li>Take part in an Annual Appraisal Programme, with the development of Personal Development Plans, focused on Continuing Professional Development.</li>
    <li>Adhere to all the organisations policies and procedures.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>To be successful in this role, you'll need:</strong></p>

Right now, we are looking for a <b>Young Adults Transition Peer Worker </b>to play a pivotal role in our <b>Haringey Volunteer Crisis Service </b>in<b> Haringey.</b></p> <p><b>Sounds great, what will I be doing?</b></p> <p>In this role, they will build and maintain therapeutic, person-centred relationships with young adults (1825) who are transitioning from CAMHS or accessing mental health services for the first time. They will support clients in developing recovery-focused goals, encouraging engagement in services, community life, and personal development, while also providing emotional and practical assistance during this transition. This includes accompanying clients to appointments, meetings, or community activities where additional support is needed. They will work collaboratively with carers, families, and professionals to ensure a holistic, integrated approach to care and sustained community inclusion. The role also involves facilitating access to local community resources and opportunities aligned with clients' interests and wellbeing goals, as well as identifying and helping to develop new partnerships and services that promote mental health and reduce inequalities.
