<p>We are looking for a full time Associate Specialist doctor (non-consultant grade) to work in our Medium (MSU) and Low secure (LSU) Forensic Mental Health Services.</p>
<p>Farmfield Hospital is a purpose-built secure hospital which comprises of four MSU ward and two LSU wards for male service users. The hospital is centrally located with excellent transport links to London and Brighton.</p>
<p>Applications are invited for an experienced full-time Associate Specialist doctor to provide medical support to the consultant, and to function as an active member of the multi-disciplinary team. Secretarial support is provided.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The successful candidate will require excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to build effective relationships with service users, colleagues and other professionals. Good IT skills are essential.</p>

<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p>

    <li>Assessment of service users and formulating appropriate management plans within your level of expertise</li>
    <li>Ensuring an adequate handover to colleagues including out of hours.</li>
    <li>Ensuring that each patient has a full physical health screen upon admission including physical examination, ECG and bloods</li>
    <li>Seeking collateral history from other professionals and family.</li>
    <li>Completing discharge letters and reports as required in a timely manner.</li>
    <li>Preparing First-tier Tribunal and Hospital Managers' hearing reports under the supervision of a Consultant Psychiatrist.</li>
    <li>Depending on your experience, providing oral evidence at First-tier Tribunal and Hospital Managers' hearings under the supervision of the Consultant.</li>
    <li>Chairing ward round and CPA meetings in the absence of the Consultant</li>
    <li>Contributing to the service development by participating in Clinical Governance activities by conducting audits, research and teaching.</li>
    <li>Work effectively with colleagues to ensure that patients have access to appropriate medical cover at all times.</li>
    <li>Providing prospective cover to other AS doctors when they are on leave.</li>
    <li>There is no on call requirement for this role.</li>

			<p>Are you an experienced&nbsp;CYPMHS Eating Disorder Consultant Psychiatrist looking an opportunity&nbsp;where you will be part of a supportive and experienced team providing Tier 4 inpatient services to young people with eating disorders?&nbsp;</p>
<p>Join Brighton and Hove Clinic, which is a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 12 up to 18 years, and you will be providing evidence-based and focused treatment programmes designed for the individual needs of each young person.</p>
<p>You will be registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Young People Psychiatry with a license to practice with experience of CYPMHS Eating Disorders and leading multidisciplinary teams.</p>

Service users regularly experience stigma for both mental health and offending history, so our role is to develop trusting and safe relationships which balance being compassionate, collaborative and supportive with sound risk assessment and management skills.</p>

  <p>The Hellingly Centre is a modern purpose built medium secure unit specialising in the assessment and treatment of people with complex and enduring mental health needs, who have had contact with the criminal justice system.</p> <p>There are 4 specialist wards (2 male medium secure wards - Oak and Ash, 1 female medium secure ward - Blossom and 1 male low secure ward - Elm), each with a strong multi-disciplinary team.</p> <p>We have a range of therapy facilities within the centre including: a gym, shop, music, woodwork and art rooms and Badger's Caf and allotment space on-site.</p> <p>The centre is situated within the beautiful Hellingly Country Park and the Cuckoo Trail is also very close by. The local town, Hailsham is under 10 minutes away by car. There is a direct bus link to Eastbourne.</p> <p>There is a small gym on-site which is available for staff to use.   <p>We would like to hear from you if you can demonstrate your commitment to providing high quality care and counselling for depression at Step 3. You will be delivering counselling for depression using a stepped care model in line with the national IAPT programme and latest NICE guidance for psychological interventions. The role involves delivering one to one Counselling, Assessments and therapeutic groups.</p>

and other evidence based therapeutic interventions to children, young people
and their families in an early intervention emotional wellbeing charity. We are
particularly interested in therapists with a professional background in working
with families, youth work, nursing, or social work. This list is not exclusive
and applicants with other relevant therapeutic or counselling experience are
also welcome to apply. As a therapist
you will hold a weekly caseload, undertake mental health assessments, offer
group and individual sessions and work creatively to achieve client goals. You
will work as part of a dynamic and friendly staff team, and work in partnership
with the childs network. You will be able to demonstrate good safeguarding
practice. </p><p>The
post-holder will carry an agreed caseload and work with young people from
diverse backgrounds and should be committed to diversity and ensuring access to
services for all. Bromley Y offers blended work, with the offer of online
sessions, with opportunities to meet with children and young people and their

flexible in their working arrangements to ensure that all children and young
