<li>Provide specialist music therapy assessment and intervention, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in line with evidence-based principles and best practice</li>
<li>Offer therapeutic support to children and young people with complex medical, developmental and palliative care needs</li>
<li>Work across a range of community settings, including the Palliative Care/Kaleidoscope service, home environments and clinic-based locations</li>
<li>Contribute to specific projects as delegated by the Kaleidoscope Lead</li>
<li>Deliver home and community-based sessions tailored to the needs of children with life-limiting conditions and their families</li>
<li>Provide both individual and group blocks of music therapy to address identified therapeutic goals in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and families</li>
<li>Support the wider Kaleidoscope Palliative Care Team, working closely with Children's Community Nursing and Social Services Child Development Services to ensure coordinated, compassionate and accountable car</li>

  <p>Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest providers of Talking Therapies services in the country. We are currently seeking cognitive behavioural therapists to join our recommissioned Norfolk and Waveney service, which provides evidence-based psychological therapies to people aged 16 and over.</p> <p>This is a particularly positive time to join us, following contract renewal, as the service moves to a data-led, Place-based model, taking provision closer to the local population that it serves while developing an already broad portfolio of clinical specialisms, including perinatal, trauma and long term conditions. <strong>We are looking to recruit to enhance our place based model across West, North and East Norfolk.</strong> Recent innovations have included the launch of a mobile service delivery vehicle and the production of a short film for new fathers.</p> <p>Norfolk and Waveney Talking Therapies is research active and is working closely with the University of East Anglia, a UK Top 25 university (Complete University Guide 2025) as both a provider of training for mental health professionals and a research partner as we build our portfolio of projects. We are also working with local acute healthcare providers to this end, embedding our therapeutic staff within wider systems of health.   <p>You will be expected to hold a caseload of clients, working at the national standard for Talking Therapies, at Step 3 this is delivering 20 clinical contact hours per week, providing evidence-based assessment and treatment for people presenting with a range of commonly experienced disorders such as depression and anxiety.</p> <p>Working within a busy, high volume clinical environment is often challenging and therefore, all staff are expected to participate in regular clinical supervision to ensure the quality of delivery and maintain professional development and wellbeing.</p> <p>Our psychological therapies are delivered face to face, as well as online and by telephone, depending upon the needs of service users.   <p>We are looking for a permanent full-time Band 6 AHP/pain therapist (physiotherapist or occupational therapist) to join the Pain Rehabilitation Team. This is an ideal opportunity for AHP's who enjoy the challenge of a varied, often complex clinical caseload, who wish to develop their <strong><em>Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), clinical reasoning and rehabilitation skills</em></strong> further and are keen to integrate into this progressive pathway of care.</p> <p>The Pain Rehabilitation Team offers a hybrid service comprising 60% face to face working (1-2-1 and group short courses), and 40% telerehabilitation (telephone and video consultations). We are innovative, empathetic, compassionate, accessible, with a focus on enabling people to change what they do, so that other people around them can appreciate/see those changes too and validate their experience. As a team we are good at adapting, comfortable being uncomfortable, listening, showing empathy, working with advanced digital therapeutics (Virtual reality immersive therapies), creating opportunities, being consistent and genuinely wanting to help the patient be the best version of themselves despite having chronic pain.
