  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HCPC registered band 5-6 Dietitian to join the West Lancs All Age Eating Disorder Team, based in Ormskirk District General Hospital. This post is offered as an initial 12 months band six preceptorship/development post ideal for the dietitian who wishes to make the move into the specialist area of eating disorders but has limited experience. Robust support will be provided during this time to aid in the development of specialist skills within this area.</p>
<p>Our vision is to be a service that provides non-judgmental timely support for eating disorders for all ages.</p>
<p>We are looking for a professional who will provide a high quality, evidence based up to date nutrition and dietetic service to community services, with the focus on providing dietetic support to young people and adults with eating disorders.</p>
<p>The post holder will work within the multi-disciplinary team setting to deliver a specialised dietetic service to the Central team. The MDT includes clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, specialist practitioners, CBT therapists, family therapists, and admin. The post holder will also be part of a wider eating disorder dietetic team within the service that offers additional clinical supervision and support.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>
<li>To maintain a high standard at all times and undertake a full and comprehensive dietetic assessment of patients with highly complex presentations using advanced clinical reasoning skills and dietetic assessment techniques.</li>
<li>To assess the individual physical, psychological and emotional needs of the patient and work in conjunction with other professionals to deliver appropriate care.</li>
<li>To be competent in a range of service relevant clinical dietetic procedures.</li>
<li>Request and interpret appropriate investigations as necessary to monitor and manage patients with clinical condition. </li>
<li>To provide advanced specialist dietetic treatment including assessing and reviewing medication, in accordance with legislation and treatment guidelines, where appropriate.</li>
<li>To anticipate care needs and develop individual lifestyle management plans ensuring that patient values, beliefs and views are reflected in their management plan.</li>

  <p>We are seeking an experienced, motivated and dynamic Band 7 Dietitian to provide high-quality specialist dietetic input to adults with learning disabilities, their families and carers in Tower Hamlets.This post covers part of the clinical workload of our substantive full-time Band 7 Dietitian, whose hours are reducing to 0.6 WTE.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and dynamic Dietitian to join our team of over 65 Dietetic staff at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.</p>
<p>We are seeking to employ a motivated and experienced dietitian to join our Critical Care Dietetic Team. The post is a permanent contract dedicated to the dietetic support of the Adult Critical Care patients at King's College Hospital (at the Denmark Hill site). <p>Dietetics within Critical Care is a well-established service within King's. King's Critical Care is a world-class centre, one of the biggest in the country with 94 ventilated beds at the DH site. We have a brand new Critical Care Centre with 4 new state of the art Intensive Care Units. King's Critical Care is a dynamic service with MDT patient care at the heart of its service.</p>
  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This Band 6 0.8WTE Critical Care Dietitian post will be based at the Denmark Hill site.</p>
<p>The Senior Dietitian for Critical Care will be expected to work within a consultant led service and be responsible for the dietetic management of all patients within adult critical care, providing a comprehensive dietetic service to critically ill adult patients. This post will be supported by an 8a Critical Care Clinical Lead Dietitian and three Band 7 Critical Care Dietitians. The post holder will provide expert advice and guidance for other healthcare professionals. This involves attending ward rounds, meetings and to be actively involved with local strategic service planning groups. The Senior Dietitian for Critical Care will develop expertise in the complex management of all critical care patients and liaise with the critical care medical, nursing and MDT teams. The post holder will be actively involved with teaching of doctors, nurses and MDT members of critical care and also actively participate in dietetic and multi-disciplinary research and audit.</p>
