  <p>Are you a CBT therapist who is looking for a new and exciting challenge? Are you passionate about widening access to psychologically informed interventions for people with severe mental health difficulties?</p> <p>We are looking to recruit a CBT Therapist, with experience of providing CBT to people with severe and complex mental health difficulties. Within this role, half of your time will be dedicated to providing clinical supervision to trainee and qualified Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWPs) across the BSW (BANES, Swindon and Wiltshire) Division. The other half of your time will be dedicated to the provision of CBT to service users with complex and severe mental health difficulties. We would be particularly interested to hear from candidates with an interest in working with people with a diagnosis of psychosis and Bipolar Disorder. </p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will provide clinical supervision to trainee and qualified Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWPs) across the BSW (BANES, Swindon and Wiltshire) Division. This will include liaison with relevant team managers about any queries regarding the scope of practice and ongoing professional development of MHWPs, with support from the three Locality Leads for Psychological Professions. </p> <p>You will provide specialist assessment, formulation and evidence based psychological intervention to a caseload of service users who have been referred to Swindon Psychological Therapies Service (PTS). The team is co-located with the Swindon Recovery Team, so the role will involve close liaison with MDT colleagues to consider suitable referrals and provide support to colleagues working in a psychologically informed way.</p> <p>Swindon PTS comprises a supportive team of Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, CBT Therapists, a Family Therapist and Arts Psychotherapists. We have established links with local training providers in Clinical &amp; Counselling Psychology, and all PTS staff have access to regular activities to support their ongoing professional development. A number of our staff are accredited by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP) and we have well established mechanisms to enable staff to maintain their accreditation.</p> <p>We are a flexible employer and there will be opportunities for blended site-based and home working options.</p>

<p><strong>We have a new opportunity for a part time Clinical Psychologist to join our CAMHS Eating Disorders Team, where you will have the opportunity to use and develop your specialist skills.</strong></p>
<p>We are seeking a part-time Clinical Psychologist (22.5 hours per week) to join our award-winning team, recently recognised with the Oxford Health 2024 Flexible Team Award. We invest strongly in staff development, offering training, supervision and specialist interest groups to support skills in interventions such as FT-AN, CBT (including CBT-E) and NET.</p>
<p>As a senior team member, you will provide supervision, consultation and leadership, with extensive opportunities for further professional development in these areas.</p>
<p>You will work within our Specialist Eating Disorders Team, part of a multidisciplinary CAMHS service alongside a Consultant Psychologist, Band 7 Psychologist, Clinical Associate Psychologists, Trainee Psychologists, CBT Trainees/Therapists and Children's Wellbeing Practitioners.</p>
<p>Staff wellbeing is central to our service. We are a highly supportive team, and managers work with you to ensure manageable caseloads and to help you develop special interests.</p>

  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed clinician who has experience working with complex cases within the area of community mental health with individuals who struggle with complex trauma, severe mental health illness and / or personality disorder.</p><p>Applications are invited for qualified clinical associate psychologist looking to extend their clinical and team working knowledge and experience.</p><p>The postholder will use a range of evidence-based psychological models and protocols when addressing individualised patient need and critically appraise these models and interventions (e.g. CBT, DBT, CFT) to inform treatment planning and appropriate choice of treatment protocols and understand how to interpret treatment choices with individuals, groups and other healthcare colleagues, when managing complex and chronic needs.</p><p>The role offers exciting opportunities for direct clinical interventions and multi-disciplinary team working, implementing evidence-based programmes of group and individual psychological therapies as well as providing consultation and supervision to other team members. The applicant should have a desire to embrace MDT working, training and team development. The scope of these opportunities will be limited to the postholder's training and experience.</p><p>The CMHT psychology team forms part of the wider Mid &amp; North Area Psychological Therapies Team, a thriving active team of psychologists and psychological therapists who are dedicated to delivering high quality interventions.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>To communicate constructively with a range of healthcare professionals in a variety of services including nurses, social workers, allied health professionals (AHPs) and medical colleagues as part of a multi-professional team</p><p>Link directly with the psychology team, alongside assistant psychologists and trainee clinical psychologists, while reporting to a Clinical Psychologist regarding psychological assessment, formulation and intervention</p><p>Work as part of a multi-professional community team or in specialised clinical settings and liaise with relevant external agencies to facilitate and enable psychological interventions</p><p>Communicate to others the core concepts of psychological theory, research and practice in order to enhance their delivery of psychological interventions.</p><p>To effectively communicate decision making processes which have informed the psychological management of risk; implement and respond appropriately to risk, using appropriate guidance and support, maintaining compliance with service policy and values</p><p>Understand impact of multiple perspectives within the context of multidisciplinary teams</p><p>Explain the rationales to individuals, groups and other healthcare colleagues, for evidence-based psychological treatment models and protocols</p><p>To play an active role in the wider psychology team, attending meetings and CPD as required.</p><p>To be able to communicate with patients and their carers/families who may be distressed</p>
