<p>You will work 37.5 hours a week as the Senior Psychologist for a service that offers (Neuro-Forensic Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation for adult males).</p>

<p><strong>As a Senior Psychologist you will be:</strong></p>

    <li>Providing psychological assessments of patients based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological (and neuropsychological) tests, self-report measures, rating scales direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the patient’s care.</li>
    <li>Formulating plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of acquired brain injury and forensic risk designed around the patient’s needs, and employing methods unpinned by relevant evidence-based practice and appropriate conceptual frameworks.</li>

    <li>Acting as psychologist for a ward and/or group of patients as directed by the Joint Heads of Psychology.</li>

    <li>Taking a key role in Psychology service developments, providing an evidence-based approach to new clinical initiatives.</li>

<p><strong>To be successful as a Senior Psychologist, you'll have:</strong></p>
<ul>
    <li>Successful completion of a Doctorate level qualifcation in applied psychology (clinical, forensic, counselling) either through the British Psychological Society or a recognised training body, enabling registration with the HCPC as as Practitioner Psychologist.</li>
    <li>Experience (either pre-training, on training, or subsequently) of working with clients with complex needs that are relevant to the service population. This can include forensic, neuropsychological rehabilitation, learning difficulty, neurodiversity and complex trauma.</li>

<p>You will support therapeutic sessions by engaging in induvial and groupwork sessions, where appropriate, alongside other members of the team, and will assist in clinically relevant administrative duties, including developing and conducting audits, analysing and interpreting behavioural data, and developing and delivering staff training. In addition, you will join the senior management team and input into clinical governance, ensuring that the psychologically led model is both evaluated and effective. <p>Arbury Court are seeking two Full Time Consultant Psychiatrists, one preferably on the Specialist Register for Forensic Psychiatry to run a medium secure ward, and one to run an acute ward (with middle grade support)</p>

Arbury Court is situated outside Warrington, just off the M62 and close to Liverpool, Manchester, and Chester. &nbsp;There are excellent transport links, making the hospital highly commutable from across the North West.&nbsp;

<p>Accepting this role would see you join this experienced inpatient Mental Health service to provide care for men with personality disorders and mental health conditions, where you will focus on equipping people with the appropriate skills for community living.</p>

Part-time Consultant Psychiatrist

<p>As a Consultant, you’ll know what it means to lead a team. To always strive for better. This is a great opportunity to join an established medical team at Gateway Recovery Centre and make a real difference to men and women who have enduring mental health problems.</p>
<p>Gateway Recovery Centre has 72 beds spread across 6 wards. There are 2 wards providing a level 2 rehabilitation service for women with high support needs. Another ward is an acute psychiatric ward for women. The other 3 wards provide care to men in specialist rehabilitation unit with ASD (Cedar ward), low secure ward (Dove ward) and a rehabilitation ward for older men with complex mental health needs and physical health comorbidities (Ash Ward).</p>
<p>As a Consultant Psychiatrist some of your key responsibilities will include management of complex cases, formulating care plans and treatments for individual needs of service users, and guiding on evidence-based treatment and effectiveness.</p>
<p>The team consists currently of 4.5 consultants, and you will deliver clinical care to a dedicated caseload. You will be supported by a practice nurse and an enhanced GP service to meet patients’ physical healthcare needs. You will have support from a dedicated supervisor and a medical secretary team. Specialty doctor cover is available for the acute ward.</p>
