  <p>Dorset Mental Health Support Teams in Schools (MHSTs) are seeking a Trainee Senior Wellbeing Practitioner/Trainee Supervisor (Band 6) for our team based in the North &amp; East Dorset area. You will be required to attend Exeter University to complete the training for this post from January 2025 on a part time basis over two years.</p> <p>The Mental Health Support Teams work with children and young people (and their families) who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health needs, within education settings.</p> <p>We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior wellbeing and supervising practitioner who is passionate about children's mental health.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The role will help to oversee the delivery of the clinical work undertaken by the Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) within the team, both those in training and those who are already qualified, ensuring that Low Intensity CBT interventions are used effectively to support children and young people's mental wellbeing. You will provide clinical supervision and leadership to more junior colleagues and will be involved with developing clinical operational processes. The team also works with education settings to help them to implement a whole school approach to good emotional wellbeing. This can include for example consultation, training and small and large group work to promote good emotional health for all. </p> <p>You will also be expected to hold a clinical caseload and to use your newly learnt knowledge to deliver short term evidence based interventions to children, families and young people whose needs are more complex in nature.</p> <p><strong>Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.   <p>We are seeking a High Intensity Modality Lead to support and manage the delivery and development of additional modalities within NHS Talking Therapies Southampton.</p> <p>As a High Intensity Modality lead you will act as clinical lead within an area of expertise, provide expertadvice to psychological therapists and other professionals. You will provide non-CBT high intensity modalities that form part of the NHS Talking Therapies programme as recommended by NICE for clients who present a range of complex Anxiety and Depression related problems as well as other mild to moderate mental health problems.</p> <p>You will supervise and support the psychological assessment and therapy provided by other high intensity therapists and trainees and support other clinical members of the team who provide psychologically based care and treatment.</p> <p>This is a part time role of 30 hours based in Southampton.   <p><strong>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent, Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to work in the Community Children and Young People's Service (CYPS) in the Northumberland team.</strong> </p>
<p>We welcome applicants who have experience working with children and young people although this is not essential. It is essential that applicants are registered as a Speech and Language Therapist and have previous experience working within a mental health, learning disability or neurodevelopmental setting and/or team. We are interested in appointing a dedicated and committed individual who can demonstrate their ability to engage and work collaboratively with others/partner agencies and understand complex systems in order to support effective pathways.</p>
<p>CYPS provide care, treatment and assessment for young people with complex, moderate to severe needs over the whole of Northumberland. </p>
<p>The multi-disciplinary team comprises a highly skilled and experienced workforce of consultant psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychotherapists, social workers, art therapists and support workers. The team are dedicated, compassionate and always put young people and their families at the centre of everything they do.</p>

  <p>You will provide specialist SALT assessment, intervention and recommendations for children and young people accessing these services. You will work as an integral member of the CYPS MDT and support the ongoing development of the SALT provision in the service.</p>
<p>You should have qualifications and experience relevant in this clinical field and work well as part of a close team and be able to work independently. You will liaise closely with fellow professionals to address communication difficulties as part of a holistic, service user centred service and be confident in providing high quality, evidence-based assessments and interventions and possess excellent communication and organisational skills as well as have the ability to work independently.</p>

  <p>Here in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland (LLR), we are innovatively transforming ways of working with people with relational and emotional difficulties often described diagnostically as Personality Disorder.</p><p>As part of this, we are keen for another Principal Psychologist to join us in our secondary care psychologically-led dedicated provisionas a Clinical Lead.

The service has over 30 staff, including Psychologists, a Medical Psychotherapist, Peer Support Workers, and Mental Health Practitioners. We offer a range of psychological and psychologically-informed approaches within the tradition of trauma-informed care, including Mentalization-Based Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, and a structured clinical management approach.</p><p>We would be very keen to hear from applicants with an interest and training in any of these approaches.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>We are very pleased to be able to offer this new role to further enhance our services clinical leadership. The role will offer an exciting opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary leadership team leading the ongoing transformation of the service. You will work alongside the Consultant Clinical Lead, other Clinical Leads, and Team Managers to lead this change; offering an exciting opportunity to enhance your strategic and clinical leadership skills.</p><p>With this new role, we aim not only to strengthen the delivery of our current offers, but we have a future aspiration to also expand their scope.

You will take a key clinical leadership role in the service alongside other Clinical Leads. You will be responsible for leading the implementation and delivery of psychological interventions, supported by the Consultant Psychologist Lead, who will offer professional, managerial, and clinical supervision.</p><p>The role will offer a variety of opportunities which will include clinical leadership, direct formulation and intervention, delivering training, service development, group and 1:1 clinical supervision and consultation to others, and service evaluation. There will be opportunities to shape the role and for continued professional development in areas relevant to service delivery and development.

<p>To act as the duty clinician on the rota of duty clinicians managing referrals and providing a rapid response to urgent clinical situations. </p>
<p>To be involved in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of children and young people with eating disorders in the community, to liaise closely with other health care professionals to ensure a consistent approach.</p>
<p>To provide specialist therapeutic interventions as part of individualised treatment plans based on psychotherapeutic principles which are grounded in evidence based practice and NICE - concordant interventions for eating disorders.</p>
<p>To develop and deliver our early intervention support pathway, including consultation, psychoeducation, self-help materials working closely with our assistant psychologist.</p>
<p>Care coordinate a substantial caseload of assessment, treatment and consultation work, identifying priorities of action in complex circumstances.</p>
<p>To utilise specialist skills in managing and communicating with patients, their families, carers and other agencies in situations that are sensitive, highly complex and may be emotionally distressing.</p>
<p>To evaluate and monitor clinical risk which will include physical and psychiatric risk for appropriate interventions to jointly manage risk and to inform other agencies as appropriate.</p>

Systemic Family Therapist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>This is an exciting opportunity for a Psychological Therapist or Counsellor to join NHS Somerset Talking Therapies Service for Depression and Anxiety, working within either our South Somerset Team (Yeovil/Chard) or our Taunton Team.</p><p>NHS Somerset Talking Therapies is a high-performing service with one of the best recovery rates in the country. We have excellent links with the voluntary sector and secondary care through the Open Mental Health Somerset initiative. As part of our multi-professional workforce in primary care, you will support adults experiencing depression, anxiety and long-term health conditions, offering therapy both face-to-face and via video link. Flexible working opportunities are available.</p><p>Applicants who do not yet hold a Talking Therapies-compliant qualification in Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) or Person Centre Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE CfD) will be considered for a Band 6 recruit-to-train position, with full training provided.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul><li><p>Provide evidence-based psychological therapy in line with NHS Talking Therapies standards, including Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) or Person Centre Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE CfD)</p></li><li><p>Deliver individual and group-based interventions both in person and remotely.</p></li><li><p>Undertake triage and assessments, contributing to stepped care pathways.</p></li><li><p>Manage a caseload of up to 18 clinical contacts per week, ensuring timely treatment delivery.</p></li><li><p>Work collaboratively with colleagues across primary care, community mental health and voluntary sector services.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using the IAPTus system.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to clinical governance, service audits, user feedback and evaluations.</p></li></ul>
