Single Homeless Project hasan opportunity for a Young Persons Psychotherapist to join our experienced and committed teams based in Greenwich ?. You will join us on a full-time, fixed term basis until March 2026 (Possible extension reliant on funding streams). In return, you will receive a competitive salary starting at starting at £50,718.46 and rising incrementally to £53,786.23 per annum (pro rata). Single Homeless Project is a London-wide charity. About the Team Manager role: At Single Homeless Project, we believe every young person deserves the chance to build a life beyond crisis. As our Young Person s Psychotherapist, you ll play a vital part in making that happen. Working within our Opportunities Programme, you ll provide one-to-one psychotherapy and co-produced psychoeducation groups for young people aged . Your work will focus on prevention, helping young people make sense of their experiences and build the tools to manage life s challenges before they reach breaking point. You ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team offering a psychologically informed service - collaborating closely with support staff, managers and other professionals to create safe, empowering spaces where young people can explore their emotions, relationships and aspirations. From helping someone understand the impact of trauma, racism or poverty, to facilitating group discussions on healthy boundaries and emotional regulation, your impact will ripple far beyond the therapy room. About you: <ul> <li>You have at least a year s experience providing psychotherapy or counselling to young people.</li> <li>You re confident supporting both individuals and groups, and understand how group dynamics work.</li> <li>You understand the challenges young people face - especially those who ve experienced the care system and/or experienced trauma.</li> <li>You can build trust with young people who may be wary of professionals and create a safe, supportive space.</li> <li>You value working alongside young people, involving them in shaping their own support and outcomes.</li> <li>You re organised, communicate clearly, and committed to inclusive, anti-discriminatory practice in all you do.</li> </ul> Our attractive benefits package includes: <ul> <li>A salary increase after successfully completing six month's probationary period</li> <li>A 37.5 hour working week including flexible working hours (core hours are 10am 4pm) in non-accommodation services</li> <li>25 days annual leave, increasing annually to the maximum 30 days (plus paid Bank Holidays),</li> <li>A contributory pension scheme: Single Homeless Project will contribute the equivalent of 5% of your annual salary</li> <li>Staff Health Cash Plan and discounts scheme</li> <li>Comprehensive and integrated training programme designed specifically to develop the skills and knowledge involved in our work</li> </ul> Please note applications will be reviewed and suitable candidates invited to interview as applications are received.
