We are a dynamic and friendly multi-disciplinary team made up of health and social care practitioners working with people with learning disabilities, their families, carers and supporters in a diverse and vibrant part of London. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative practitioner who is committed to advancing the wellbeing and life chances of people with learning disabilities and addressing health and social care inequalities experienced by this group.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>You will be part of the friendly, inclusive and supportive ILDS Psychology team. You will work directly with people with learning disabilities and their networks to deliver assessments and arts therapy interventions as part of a cohesive multi-disciplinary team. In addition you will provide consultation and training to other providers. This is a new role, so we hope that you will be able to share information about the value and impact of arts therapies with colleagues and those who draw on ILDS services. As part of the role there will be opportunities to participate in innovative research and service development projects - creativity and flexibility are definitely encouraged! You will receive regular supervision and the service is committed to continuous professional development with access to internal and external training opportunities.</p>

  <p>We are recruiting for a Psychological Therapist to join our team.</p><p>We are looking for some to ensure systematic provision of a high quality, specialist psychological therapy service to clients within mental health services who have an eating disorder.</p><p>You will work alongside MDT colleagues to ensure that the service can provide compassionate and holistic recovery focused care to address the complex mental health needs of people with eating disorders.</p><p>To supervise and support the other clinical members of the team who provide psychologically based care and treatment.   <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic Psychological Therapist to join Greenwich ADAPT (Anxiety, Depression, Affective disorders, Personality disorders &amp; Trauma) a secondary care multidisciplinary service providing place-based care for people living in the Borough of Greenwich.</p> <p>You will have a passion for working in multidisciplinary teams supporting people with emotional regulation and interpersonal difficulties. We are particularly interested in candidates with interest, experience and/or training in mentalisation-based therapy (MBT) as the successful candidate will join our MBT team. Broader groupwork or group analytic skills are also welcome.</p> <p>You will join a dynamic and skilled Psychological Therapies Team comprised of psychologists, psychotherapists, cognitive behavioural therapists, art therapist, assistant psychologist, a Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioner, as well as trainees. The service offers a range of modalities including MBT (Mentalisation-based therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapist), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), art therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy and MBCT (Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy). The team also work closely with the wider MDT to provide Structured Clinical Management (SCM). New developments this year include the planned launch of a comprehensive Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) programme, and the service is acting as a site for a randomised controlled trial evaluating a trauma focused adaption of MBT.</p>

  <p>The role involves a variety of duties including taking a teams approach, attendance and offering of a psychological perspective in MDT meetings, brief psychoeducation groups (8 weeks), longer term groups (up to 18 months) as well as opportunities for individual work (some brief and some up to 12 months).</p>

  <p>We operatefrom three main hospitals-Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, andUlverstonCommunity Health Centre.</p>
<p>FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services.</p>
<p>WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses.</p>
<p>All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies,daycase and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.</p>
