  <p>It is an exciting time to join the Talking Therapies team as we expand to deliver a high-quality psychological therapy service which is forward thinking and innovative.</p> <p>We are recruiting Counsellors/Psychological Therapists with skills in the practical application of NICE recommended modalities - Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD/CfD), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) or Couples Counselling for Depression, Interpersonal Psychotherapy. The post holder will work offering one of these NICE recommended modalities as part of a team of Counsellors/Psychological Therapists in the Talking Therapies service.</p> <p>Training in a NICE recommended counselling modality is essential if the candidate does not already have the required training. Training (if required) will be arranged by the Talking Therapies service, run alongside the post through the learning provider, require course attendance and clinical supervision, submission of competence based video recordings.</p> <p>Candidates are required to hold, at a minimum, an Advanced Diploma in Counselling that has included a placement of 80 hours plus, to ensure that they are equipped to undergo the specific modality training and work independently in the team. The post holder must be Accredited or working towards accreditation with BACP or UKCP.</p> <p><strong>Please note that this is a West Cornwall based role and there is an expectation for the successful candidate to work in-person within West Cornwall.</strong></p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p><strong>This job is currently only open to people who already work for the NHS in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly. The post holder will be responsible for providing time-limited counselling to those service users who meet the service referral criteria. The duration of counselling interventions will be in accordance with the Talking Therapies national guidelines and service expectations</p>

  <p><strong>Band 7 Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist</strong></p> <p>The post holder will provide specialist psychoanalytic child psychotherapy assessment and treatment to children, young people and their families and carers across clinical pathways within CAMHS. The post holder will be required to provide initial CAMHS assessments, offering consultation and supervision as appropriate to colleagues, within and external to the organisation in accordance with best practice.   <p>We would like to hear from you if you can demonstrate your commitment to providing high quality care in Counselling for depression at Step 3 within Mind Matters Surrey, NHS Talking Therapies Service. You will be delivering counselling for depression at Step 3 following a stepped care model in line with the national Talking Therapies programme and latest NICE guidance for psychological interventions. The role involves delivering one to one Counselling, Assessments and therapeutic groups.</p>
<p>You must have completed or nearly completed the training in the Person Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CFD) IAPT with experience of working within a Talking Therapies service.</p>
<p>Applicants who have already successfully completed the PCE-CfD training will start at a band 7.</p>

<p>Be able to make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the department's referral protocols, and refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary. To make an assessment of risk for patient and others and take appropriate action when necessary.</p>

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified counsellor Band 5 or Band 6 to join the Lincolnshire Talking Therapies service based in Spalding although you may also be required to cover alternative bases to meet service need.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work within a team environment and be thoroughly conversant with the use of clinical systems.</p>  <p>The Band 5 counsellor will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing counselling for depression. The post holder will be expected to hold a clinical caseload and will be provided with clinical supervision. The service will provide the relevant training to acquire a qualification in a Talking Therapies modality (cfc/IPT/ccfd).</p> <p>To acquire the Band 6 post the candidate will need to continue to hold a caseload, be accredited with a professional body, complete and pass a qualification in a Talking Therapy modality (cfc/IPT/ccfd). They will be responsible in providing clinical supervision to counselling colleagues.</p>
