  <p>This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and registered psychological therapist or counsellor to join our dedicated Psychological Therapies Team, working with adult patients across the Trust. The role offers variety and professional development, as you will work across our three hospital sites, gaining exposure to different settings and experiences--while only ever being based at one site at a time.</p>
<p>For the first six months, you will be primarily based at Southend Hospital, providing continuity as you settle into the role. This position is part-time, two days per week, and is ideal for a skilled therapist looking to make a meaningful impact on patient wellbeing within a supportive and collaborative environment.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Main duties are:</p>  <ul>  <li>To work with adult inpatients and outpatients and their families. Inpatients will be from the general hospital, as this role will not be with burns patients.</li>  <li>To provide specialised psychological assessment and therapy based on a holistic formulation and sound evidence base</li>  <li>To participate in MDT discussions and decision making when appropriate.</li>  <li>To offer consultation around patients' psychological care to non-psychological colleagues, and to other non-professional carers</li>  <li>To offer support to hospital staff through signposting and clinical team based supports such as reflective spaces to relevant staff.</li> </ul>   <h3>About us</h3>

  <p><strong>Art Psychotherapist - Band 7 - Forensic Intensive Recovery Support Team (FIRST)</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a 0.6 WTE Band 7 Art Psychotherapist to join the Forensic Intensive Recovery Support Team (FIRST), a specialist forensic community mental health team based in Rubery, South Birmingham and covering the West Midlands area. The aim of the service is to contribute to the successful transition of adult service users with significant risk histories and mental health difficulties out of secure inpatient services and support their continued recovery and risk management in the community.</p> <p>With our art therapist due to move onto a new role in the Trust shortly, we are keen to maintain art therapy provision in FIRST, as this has been highly valued within the service. The role within our vibrant community team includes delivering specialist art therapy assessments and interventions on an individual basis with service users, with the potential for facilitating group interventions too; providing specialist advice and consultation to multi-disciplinary colleagues; supporting the delivery of reflective practice for staff; and contributing to the ongoing development and evaluation of art therapy within FIRST and wider Secure Care.</p>

  <p>You will be joining our friendly Psychological Therapies team in FIRST, which includes practitioner psychologists, specialist psychological practitioner, assistant psychologists, all of whom have developed strong appreciation of the beneficial role art therapy can play in our service users' ongoing recovery.. You will be supported by the Head of Arts Psychotherapies within the Trust and have regular clinical supervision from an Art Psychotherapist. In addition, the Division funds forensic arts therapy group supervision and encourages attendance at local and Trust-wide development meetings for Arts Psychotherapists.   <p><strong>Do you have experience working with Children, Young people and their families with mental health difficulties?</strong></p> <p><strong>Are you looking to enhance your skills and work within a supportive and experienced team?</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a Clinical or counselling Psychologist to join the Bath and North East Somerset (BANES) Mental Health Support Team (MHST) on a part-time basis.</p> <p>You would be joining an MHST team of dedicated staff working in schools across BANES, offering Low Intensity CBT for mild/moderate anxiety and low mood, as well as a whole school approach.</p> <p>You would be offering 1:1 therapy for CYP with moderate MH needs that exceed/do not fit with Low Intensity as well as providing Clinical Skills and Case Management supervision and support to colleagues trained in Low intensity CBT.</p> <p>If you do not currently possess a post graduate certificate in Supervision, you will be enrolled on the one year part time post graduate supervisors course in order to meet the requirements of this role.</p> <p>You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the many exciting service developments currently underway. We have close links with the University of Bath and University of Oxford Doctorate courses.</p>
