You will have an important strategic and liaison function to support the transition of patients between services.   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <ul>  <li>The systematic provision of Specialist Psychological Therapy to the patients in PICU.</li>  <li>To undertake high quality direct (assessment and therapeutic) and indirect (consultative, advisory and evaluative) specialist psychology interventions.</li>  <li>To ensure the clinical effectiveness of the service, taking on a leadership and service development role within the PICU service.</li>  <li>To be regularly responsible for providing training to the MDT and providing professional support, guidance and supervision to psychological therapists in the service.</li> </ul> <p>A PICU is a dynamic environment and there will be the expectation that the candidate is able to take substantial professional responsibility and work autonomously providing high quality direct work which will include psychological assessments, formulations and brief therapeutic work, groups, family and individual work as well as assisting with positive behaviour support plans. The indirect (consultative, advisory and evaluative) work includes systemic work with staff, reflective case discussions and Serious Incident debriefs.</p>

  <p>We are seeking to recruit a full-time Band 8a Senior Applied Psychologist in Adult Community Mental Health (Planned Care) at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHFT).   <p>Clinical or Forensic Psychologist - Band 7 -(Full Time)</p> <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to join an established team of Clinical and Forensic Psychologists in the Secure Services for people with Intellectual Disabilities at Brooklands Hospital. The secure services consist of an LD male medium secure and a male and female low secure service and an autism only male low secure service.</p> <p>The secure service ethos is to help and support people who present considerable risk to others (as well as themselves) to return to a less restrictive environment and/or the community as soon as possible. The contribution of psychological services is highly valued within the teams and service management, and it is fully integrated within collaborative multi-disciplinary teams.</p> <p>The successful candidate will have post qualification experience of working with forensic populations and/or considerable experience of working with people with Intellectual (learning) disabilities who present considerable risk to others.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The key elements of the role include delivering psychological assessments, developing case/team formulation, running individual and group therapies. The post holder will offer reflective practice, supervision and training (qualified psychologists and non-psychologists), and have opportunities to conduct audit/research. Contributing to and leading on service development projects is an important part of this role. The successful candidate will work closely with others to deliver on service projects and therapies. There is opportunity for personal and service development. Post holders may be required to work flexibly as needed to meet service demands.</p> <p>The psychology department at Brooklands is a well-established and supportive service and the successful applicant will receive support to further develop their skills and knowledge, through good quality supervision and training opportunities. The team, work from different therapeutic approaches including CBT, CAT, CFT, EMDR and Schema Therapy. The service offers a range of clinical and offence focused treatment programmes e.g., DBT and structured offence programmes and PBS is embedded in the service.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the Psychology service at Stockton Hall Hospital. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Consultant Psychologist, with robust experience within a forensic setting; someone who is a confident leader and is keen to develop to contribute to service development, including trauma informed care.</p><p>At Stockton Hall Hospital, just outside York, we are well-known for producing positive clinical outcomes for highly complex patients. We currently provide a medium-secure care setting in which patients access a broad range of therapeutic interventions including one-to-one and group-based psychological treatments.</p><p>Our service has produced excellent recovery results for patients, maximising their opportunity to progress to conditions of lower-security and community settings as safely and efficiently as possible.</p>
