  <p><strong>Are you a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist seeking a new challenge?</strong></p> <p>A full time opportunity has arisen for a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join the Oxfordshire Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team and Maternal Mental Health Service in a development role. The right candidate will work across both teams to play a key role in providing evidence-based treatments to perinatal patients across Oxfordshire, as well as supervision, training and consultation.</p> <p>We are looking for a skilled psychologist who is motivated to develop towards clinical leadership and service development, as well as the provision of specialist supervision and support to more junior members of staff.You will have experience of working alongside a range of other professionals to provide psychological advice and consultation regarding formulation and treatment.</p> <p>Our ideal candidate will have experience of providing psychological assessment and intervention for adults in the perinatal period with severe and/or complex mental health difficulties.</p> <p>We welcome applications from newly or soon-to-be qualified clinical or counselling psychologists.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>This role is crucial in ensuring that patients get timely access to high quality specialist psychological treatments within the Oxfordshire Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team. As part of the role, you will:</p> <ul>  <li>Provide psychological assessment and intervention for adults with severe and/or complex mental health difficulties presenting in the perinatal period and their families in outpatient, community and inpatient settings as required. This may include the use of digital technology.</li>  <li>Supervise and support the psychological assessment and interventions provided by assistant and trainee psychologists and other clinical members of the team who provide psychologically based care and treatment, dependent on experience.</li>  <li>Provide ad hoc advice, consultation and supervision on clients' psychological care to colleagues and other professionals as delegated by the Principal Clinical Psychologist.</li>  <li>Work towards the standards, duties and responsibilities expected of a band 8a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, which, if achieved in line with developmental reviews, will lead to an opportunity for promotion to band 8a.</li> </ul> <p>You will excel at working autonomously, managing a caseload and taking responsibility for the governance of your psychological practice within a multidisciplinary team. You will be familiar with utilising research skills for audit, policy and service development.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling Psychologist to join AWP Secure Services.</p> <p>This role involves opportunities to work across our medium and low secure hospitals for men, women, and individuals with learning disabilities and autism, who present significant risks and mental health challenges such as psychosis.</p> <p>You will be part of a team of specialists and experienced psychological therapists, contributing to the establishment of a new Psychological Therapy Service (PTS).</p> <p>You will have opportunities to work alongside Clinical Psychologists, Forensic Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, Art Psychotherapists, Drama Therapist, Music Therapists as well as trainees, assistants and students within our integrated PTS.</p> <p>This collaborative environment offers opportunities to work closely with service users across the spectrum, providing comprehensive and innovative therapeutic interventions.</p> <p>Secure Inpatient Services consists of Fromeside, an 81 bed medium secure unit and Wickham, a 30 bed low secure unit, both based on the Blackberry Hill Hospital site in north Bristol. The service includes a specialist women's ward and a specialist 8 bedded ward for men with learning disabilities and/or autism. We have a large, friendly psychology team with expertise in working with people with a wide range of presenting difficulties including; violence, sexual offending, fire setting, learning disabilities, autism, personality disorders and psychosis</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The roles will involve providing direct clinical work, consultation, teaching and staff support, supervision, and working collaboratively with other members of the MDT including psychiatry, nursing, arts psychotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists.</p>
<p>The role will involve completing specialist assessments, developing complex formulations and designing and delivering individualized therapeutic interventions; as well as facilitating therapeutic groups and engaging in complex systemic work.</p>
<p>There will also be the opportunity to engage in service development projects. The successful post-holders will need be adaptable, creative, to have good communication and team working skills, and to have experience and/or interest in working with people with significant mental health difficulties such as psychosis, who present a significant risk to others.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Higher Assistant Psychologist to join our Older Adult Inpatient Psychology team in North Cumbria.The Older People's Inpatient Service in North Cumbria is based at the Carleton Clinic in Carlisle and consists of a 15 bedded Dementia Assessment Unit and a 10 bedded Functional Unit. The post holder will support the psychology team across the two wards in undertaking direct clinical work and audit and service evaluation on the older people wards.The post holder will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team members including Clinical Psychologists, CBT Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Nursing Staff, and Psychiatry colleagues.   <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 0.6wte 8b clinical/counselling/forensic psychologist to provide clinical leadership to the male inpatient pathway at Hellesdon Hospital, which comprises of two wards and a total of 33 beds. You will be joining our well-established psychology team working across the largest acute service in NSFT that comprises of five inpatients wards, 3 of which are part of the new build, and a crisis resolution home treatment team; there is also likely to be one more ward opening by the end of this year. </p> <p>Within the role you will be helping to provide psychological clinical leadership, regarding MDT decision making, risk management and reduction in restrictive interventions. You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team colleagues, helping to inform and engage the teams in more psychological ways of thinking and formulating our service users. You will work alongside other psychology colleagues to aid smooth transition and coherent treatment/management plans for service users across the inpatient service line and back into wider community services.</p> <p>You will provide supervision and line management to other members of the psychology team within the male pathway that includes a full time 8a clinical psychologist, B7 art therapist and assistant psychologist. This will include ensuring adherence to evidence base practice, outcome measures and audit data.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The work is challenging, fast paced and rewarding; our psychology team come with a range of specialist interests and therapy expertise and have strong links to the UEA doctorate course. There will be the opportunity for training and development as part of the role.</p> <p>- Ensuring the provision of evidence based psychological assessment and treatment across the male inpatient wards.</p> <p>- Providing specialist assessment and formulation of complex clients to help aid clinical decision making re diagnosis, management of risk and treatment pathways.</p> <p>- Working closely with the wider MDT as well as community services involved, to provide clinical leadership in order to enhance psychological thinking and promotion of psychological formulation to facilitate optimal patient care and promote best practice guidelines.</p> <p>- Working with families and carers where appropriate, particularly on complex cases where the system may feel quite 'stuck'.</p> <p>- Provision of line management and clinical supervision to other clinicians within the inpatient psychology team.</p> <p>- Working alongside the Associate Director of Psychology to help contribute to local and trust level service development and initiatives where appropriate.</p>

  <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the Psychology service at Stockton Hall Hospital. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Consultant Psychologist, with robust experience within a forensic setting; someone who is a confident leader and is keen to develop to contribute to service development, including trauma informed care.</p><p>At Stockton Hall Hospital, just outside York, we are well-known for producing positive clinical outcomes for highly complex patients.
