  <p>We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or CBT Therapist to join our committed and friendly team of clinicians in our Central Wandsworth &amp; West Battersea Integrated Recovery Hub is one of four multidisciplinary Integrated Recovery Hubs in Wandsworth and provides specialist assessment, treatment and recovery work for adults with a wide variety of severe and enduring mental health difficulties.</p> <p>Central Wandsworth &amp; West Battersea Integrated Recovery Hub offers a specialist, community-focused mental health and social care service to adults (18-75) whose mental health problems, because of their seriousness or complexity, cannot be effectively treated within primary care. Clinical/professional judgement will determine priority for treatment and support, but in line with policy implementation guidance. The Integrated Recovery Hub ( IRH) service is the central element of mental health service for adults and their relatives/carers.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>The post holder will be expected to work in health and other community settings (including outpatient clinics), clients' and their relatives' homes, inpatient and other hospital settings, and any other settings in which the client is most appropriately managed.</p> <p>You will provide cognitive behaviour therapy to patients referred to the Adult Integrated Recovery Hubs (IRHs) in Wandsworth. The post holder is expected to operate within recognised professional guidelines and the overall framework of the Wandsworth Adult Integrated Recovery Hub policies and procedures.</p> <p>You will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the services' policies and procedures. To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service.</p>

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We are excited to recruit two full time 8a posts, each to be based in CIMHS North and CIMHS South:</p>
<p>To support the development and leadership of community psychology approaches in Newham through working with psychology and non-psychology colleagues across a range of services</p>
<p>To provide highly specialist psychological assessments, formulations and interventions to secondary mental health services and those in the community, particularly those with complex mental health problem, who are vulnerable to poor health outcomes through poverty and other social inequalities, disabilities and physical health conditions.</p>
<p>To develop partnership working with local community organisations with the aim of community capacity building and co-production of psychological input. This includes supporting ongoing transformation work in line with a more flexible outreach psychological offer.</p>
<p>To develop, through co-production, psychological interventions that address the needs of those served including resilience and recovery, shared support, social connections and community engagement.</p>
<p>To offer and supervise adapted therapies with diverse communities such as Behavioural Activation for Muslim communities (BA-M), Islamic psychology and CBT-music for young black men.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Provide specialist psychological assessments of service users and carers. This is to be based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex psychological data from a variety of quantitative and qualitative sources including psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and assessments with service users and others involved in their care.</p> <p>Be responsible for the formulation and implementation of a broad range of specialist psychological treatment and/or management of service users' mental health problems, based upon an appropriate conceptual framework of those problems derived from a broad theoretical knowledge of psychology, and employing methods based upon evidence of proven efficacy, across the full range of care settings.</p>

Highly Specialist Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

<h2>Job summary</h2>
  <p>We have an opportunity for an experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to lead the psychology provision across the three teams of the Perinatal Mental Health Service.</p>
<p>We offer a range of therapeutic modalities including CBT, EMDR, Systemic Couples therapy, IPT, CFT, and ACT, and this role would be suitable for applicants interested in transgenerational patterns of trauma, attachment and parent and infant mental health. Our MDT consists of highly skilled, and psychologically minded professionals including Psychiatrists, perinatal mental health nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, peer support workers and nursery nurses. We are accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists, highlighting the excellent and specialised care provided by the service.</p>
<p>Our service aims to provide specialist and early help to parents and babies to help with a range of perinatal mental health issues. We are also involved in shaping trauma informed care in the perinatal period and thinking across wider services.</p>
<p>We regularly meet for reflective practice and specialist staff well-being and development are at the heart of our ambitions. We have an active CPD program across the Trust in relation to both clinical and leadership development, as well as a staff resilience hub supporting individuals and teams.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Please see JD for full key responsibilities, some of them included here as follows:</p> <ul>  <li>To be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of clinical work and care.</li>  <li>To maintain high standards of care in all areas of practice in accordance with the HCPC Code of Conduct, professional guidelines and Trust Policies and Procedures.</li>  <li>To act within the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act (2005). To be aware of and implement SafeguardingAdult and Child Protection Policies, Procedures and legislation.</li>  <li>To plan and deliver a highly specialist psychology service (in leadership or advanced therapy role) and to oversee its clinical governance.</li>  <li>To lead in the supervision and contribute to Individual Performance Review/Appraisal of psychology staff, as required.</li>  <li>To ensure that the healthcare needs of people using services are communicated to and work in partnership with service commissioners and other healthcare providers for the bestoutcomes. To positively contribute to Trust and divisional developments in relation to psychology practice. To advocate and represent the service.</li>  <li>To be responsible for the development and implementation of appropriate policies, protocols and care pathways.</li> </ul>
