<p>Supervising an Assistant Psychologist and working closely with clinicians from a range of disciplines, your specialist input will be key in achieving good patient outcomes. With the support of the team, you will administer neuropsychological and psychometric assessments that support the formulation of behavioural interventions seeking to manage challenging behaviour and enhance rehabilitation. </p>
<p>You will support therapeutic sessions by engaging in induvial and groupwork sessions, where appropriate, alongside other members of the team, and will assist in clinically relevant administrative duties, including developing and conducting audits, analysing and interpreting behavioural data, and developing and delivering staff training.   <p>We are delighted to offer an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic and compassionateClinical Psychologist/Practitioner Psychologistto step into anewly established Band 8b Clinical Leadrole within our vibrant and friendlySalford Early Intervention in Psychosis service (EIP) and the Early Detection and Intervention Team (EDIT).</p> <p>The post holder will provide direct clinical work, while also supporting all aspects of psychological and psych-social intervention work carried within the EI and EDIT teams, via the provision of supervision, consultation and training and co-working opportunities. The post holder will promote a normalising, trauma informed, continua based approach to understanding psychosis (e.g., by regularly contributing to MDT discussions, supervision and training).</p>

  <p>This is an opportunity to lead psychological care provision in Salford for people identified as being 'at risk' of developing first episode psychosis, and those experiencing first episode psychosis. Salford EDIT and EI teams are multidisciplinary teams with a strong culture of facilitating personal recovery via psychological and psychosocial interventions.</p> <p>The post-holder will lead on the development and delivery of psychological interventions, ensuring high quality evidence-based and trauma-informed practice across the pathway.
