Visit Health and Care Worker visa: Overview - GOV.UK</em></p> <p><strong>Clinical Psychologist, Eating Disorder Service</strong></p> <p>EDYs provide support and treatment for children and young people in Liverpool and Sefton with an eating disorder and/or ARFID, as well as their parents/carers and professionals involved in their care. This is a multidisciplinary team including Consultant Psychiatrist and Consultant Paediatricians, Clinical Psychology, Family Therapy, CBT and SFP trained staff, Nursing, Support Worker, Assistant Practitioner and Assistant Psychology.</p> <p>The successful applicant will provide a substantial contribution to the clinical work of the team and will hold full case management responsibility for their workload. Regular clinical supervision will be provided.</p> <p>The main base for this post will be at Alder Hey, but appointments across Liverpool and Sefton will be required.</p> <p>Experience working with children and young people with an eating disorder and/or ARFID will be beneficial. In addition to undertaking assessments and providing intervention and support to children, young people and their families, the post holder will also undertake physical monitoring under the guidance of our Consultant Paediatricians.</p>

<p>The post holder will provide both clinical and line manager supervision to junior members of the team as well as a leadership role within the service.</p>

  <p></p><p>We are delighted to offer an opportunity for a dynamic and compassionate Clinical Psychologist/Practitioner Psychologist to step into an Band 8b Clinical Lead role within our vibrant and friendly Salford Early Intervention in Psychosis service (EIP) and the Early Detection and Intervention Team (EDIT).</p> <p>The post holder will provide direct clinical work, while also supporting all aspects of psychological and psycho-social intervention work carried within the EI and EDIT teams, via the provision of supervision, consultation and training and co-working opportunities.</p> <p>The post holder will promote psychological perspectives by regular contribution to MDT discussions, supervision, and training. The Early Intervention Teams at GMMH are research active and the post holder will strengthen links between our Salford team and the GMMH psychosis research unit to offer service users the opportunity to become involved in a wide range of research projects.</p> <p>The post holder will join a supportive group of other 8b Clinical Psychologists who lead the other EI teams across the Trust.   <p></p><p>This is an opportunity to lead psychological care provision in Salford for people identified as being 'at risk' of developing first episode psychosis, and those experiencing first episode psychosis. Salford EDIT and EI teams are multidisciplinary teams with a strong culture of facilitating personal recovery via psychological and psychosocial interventions.</p> <p>The post-holder will lead on the development and delivery of psychological interventions, ensuring high quality evidence-based and trauma-informed practice across the pathway. They will benefit from strong peer support within a highly skilled network of psychologists across GMMH and have access to excellent CPD opportunities, as well as reflective practice, and research opportunities.</p> <p>We are looking for: An HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist/Practitioner psychologist with substantial post-qualification experience in adult mental health and especially psychosis, with extensive experience of working well within multidisciplinary NHS teams, with expertise in CBT for psychosis and Family Interventions, with considerable supervision and leadership experience.</p> <p>If you are a passionate clinician and wish to utilise the full range of your knowledge and skills to aid personal recoveries of people within an EDIT and EI service context, we'd very much like to hear from you.</p>
