  <p><strong>Band 7 Psychological Therapist</strong></p> <p>We're looking to recruit a band 7 psychological therapist on a fixed term basis for 12 months.</p> <p>The post is based at the adult community mental health team in Ipswich.We are a supportive and dedicated multi-disciplinary team across East Suffolk, with competencies and accreditations in a range of evidence based psychological therapies.</p> <p>The ideal applicant(s) will be passionate about delivering evidence-based therapies and working psychologically with people experiencing mental health difficulties living in the community.</p>   <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>If you are passionate about delivering evidence based psychological therapies and are experienced in working psychologically with adults with complex presentations associated with community mental health, then this role will be perfect for you.</p> <p>We are seeking someone who would be able to carry out psychological assessment, formulation and therapy alongside psychological consultation, and teaching/training to the multi-disciplinary team. Duties would also include attendance and contribution to MDT meetings.Additional training in EMDR and / or DBT would be highly desirable.</p>   <h3>About us</h3>

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based psychological interventions to adults from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, both in one-to-one and group settings, in line with IAPT guidance.</p><p>In this role, you will assess service users' suitability for interventions and deliver high intensity CBT to support their recovery and wellbeing. Alongside your clinical work, you will provide line management and clinical supervision to a Senior PWP, as well as take on case management, leadership responsibilities, and represent the service in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.</p><p>This role requires a flexible, team-focused individual who can adapt to the needs of the organisation, work across sites, and build strong collaborative relationships with both internal colleagues and external partners.
