  <p>Community Mental Health Services have undergone widespread innovative transformation. North London Foundation NHS Trust is at the forefront of this transformation, developing a more holistic, recovery oriented, biopsychosocial approach to supporting people with mental health difficulties, in partnership with primary care, other community NHS providers and the voluntary sector. The aim is to build support systems that reach the whole mental health population with a focus on prevention and sustained recovery delivered by multi-agency collaboration. Each population unit is based on the footprint of a Primary Care Network (PCN), bringing together NHS, voluntary sector, peer support and community organisations.   <p>The CAP role is central to the team's psychological provision, with opportunities for group interventions, 1:1 therapy using a Structured Clinical Management model and other evidence based approaches, alongside joint assessment, formulation, intervention and consultation.</p> <p>There will be opportunities for leadership, research, service development and consultation to the system, which will involve liaising with professionals involved in the in care of the individual. The teams work closely as MDTs, with weekly clinical meetings where complex cases can be thought about and MDT formulations can be developed.   <p>As a member of a specialist Psychological Therapies team, you will work closely with colleagues in our CMHT and in-patient teams as well as the newly develop Primary Care Community Mental Health Hubs. You will also liaise with and support psychological therapists working at earlier steps in the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Pathway. You will work with the Clinical Lead, Locality Leads, Team Manager and your team to ensure that the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Pathway achieves its key objectives of delivering integrated, safe, accessible, responsive, effective and caring services to people in Buckinghamshire.</p> <p>You will provide psychological assessments and interventions for adults with severe and/or complex mental health problems, their families and carers. You will provide supervision and management support to other psychological therapists and consultation and guidance to our colleagues in the CMHT. You will have excellent communication skills and will participate in multidisciplinary risk assessment, formulation and care planning. You should be able to demonstrate your experience, skills and qualifications in evidence-based approaches in specialist adult mental health settings, this may include for example CBT or third wave approaches / Schema Therapy / EMDR / DBT / MBT / CAT.   <p>We are excited to be recruiting a clinical or counselling psychologist based in Tier 4 Aquarius general adolescent unit, based at Springfield University Hospital working with young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties. You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team and will have regular opportunities for CPD and training.</p> <p>Aquarius ward offers a service for 12- to 17-year-olds experiencing a range of significant and multiple mental health difficulties requiring inpatient treatment. This post will be based within the Aquarius MDT, with strong links with the Adolescent Outreach Team. We are able to offer this role as a full time or part time position.</p> <p>Please note candidates need to be qualified clinical/counselling psychologists (or about to qualify) and registered with the Health &amp; Care Professions Council or clearly state in their application how they are planning to achieve this registration.</p>

  <p>We will also consider applications from newly qualified and recently qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologists eligible to occupy the post at band 7 in a preceptorship role. An applicant appointed to the band 7 preceptorship role will be supported through a preceptorship model that includes a professional and clinical development plan for continuing professional development training. A Preceptorship Clinical/Counselling Psychologist will be supported to acquire the knowledge, skills and experience that meet the person specifications for the post at band 8a after a period of 18 months. Where these conditions are met the post holder will be expected to progress to band 8a subject to successful interview.</p> <p>At Band 8a, there will be opportunities to attend supervision skills training, and supervise doctoral clinical psychology trainees, through strong links with the University of Surrey Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) Training Scheme</p> <p>Ideally the post holder will have experience of working within a specialist inpatient CAMHS service. We will offer in-house training, regular supervision and a thorough induction to all new staff. The post is a substantive role.</p>

  <p>The Lead PWP will hold a small clinical case load, provide supervision and line management to the PWP team and share responsibility for the operational running of the service with the other Step 2 lead clinicians. They will be required to work one evening session (12pm-8pm Monday to Thursday). The role will be varied, thus supporting the post holder to develop assessment, treatment, supervision, line management, leadership and project management skills. </p> <p>You will need experience of risk management and assessment, formulation and treatment of Talking Therapies appropriate disorders within a PWP framework and have some supervision and line management experience.   <p>Oxleas are seeking to recruit to a highly motivated, Band 8a clinical/counselling psychologist or CBT therapist to join our Greenwich team as Maternity Cover.It is an exciting time to join the team as it is a burgeoning and innovative field for perinatal psychology. Our Perinatal team offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in both adult mental health and also to develop skills in parent infant and family work. It is an ideal opportunity for psychologist with an interest in attachment, developmental psychology, infant mental health and working with family systems.</p> <p>The trust wide service is based at Queen Mary's hospital and consists of a multidisciplinary team of professionals including consultant psychiatrists, specialist perinatal nurses, clinical psychologists, CBT therapists, nursery nurses and OTs. We offer a community service for pregnant and postnatal women with severe and complex mental health difficulties. The team has close links with other services, including IAPT, secondary care mental health teams and maternity as well as third sector organisations. We work collaboratively with other services (eg maternity service and health visiting) and with experts by experience to continue to provide high quality care and are committed to ensure excellent outcomes for women and their families.</p>



  <h3>Main duties of the job</h3>
  <p>Main Clinical Duties;</p>
<p>The main clinical work undertaken is to provide specialist psychological assessment and intervention for mothers and their babies and families in the community. The post holder will also offer clinical supervision to more junior staff and trainees.</p>
<p>The post holder will be involved in delivering evidence-based individual and group-based interventions. The psychological therapies team include clinical and counselling psychologists, as well as CBT therapists. The successful applicant will be part of a friendly and supportive team. There is an established reflective practice space for the whole team as well as regular individual supervision provided by the senior psychologist. Opportunities to develop supervision skills are consistently available and Oxleas has a longstanding relationship with clinical and counselling doctorate programs in taking trainees and developing the wider workforce.</p>
